Bad Guys

Chapter 1

Okay…I had a sudden idea for a story, so I decided to make it this one… This story will have a total of THREE chapters. I have it all planned out and everything! Read and Review please give it a chance! : )

“SIT BOY!” screamed an angry Kagome storming off, leaving a disgruntled and confused Inuyasha smashed face-first in the dirt. Shippou stood off to the side pointing and laughing at the disgruntled hanyou. Then, a butterfly flew by, catching his attention in the process, and he shot off after it.

“Why does she always do that?” Inuyasha asked himself. ‘I don’t mean to piss her off…it just happens…’ –sigh- ‘Maybe…I should-‘ –sniff- -sniff- He lowered his eyes “Kouga…” he said with pure hatred. He growled and ran off towards the horrible smell.

“INUYASHAAA!!!! WAIIITTT FOR MEEE!!” screamed Shippou noticing him running off.

Kagome was walking along a path contemplating what Inuyasha had tried to say. She couldn’t for the life of her figure it out. She could only think of how he always hurts her.
‘Why does he hate me so much...’ –sniffle- ‘Oh god, now I’m going to start crying! Why does he always do this to me!? Why can’t he see how much I love him?’ She was now full-on crying. She was stumbling around because she couldn’t see through all of her tears. She started running, she was scared. She ran head on in to a tree and lost consciousness.

“Hello? Are you ok?”

Kagome awoke to see a girl she thought to be around her age, to be kneeling next to her, peering anxiously at her.

“Uhn…Where am I?” She asked a little groggily.

“You are in the forest of Yonai. What’s your name? What brought you here? It’s not the safest as you have probably figured out.” The girl stated matter-of-factly.

Kagome sat up holding her head. She had a massive headache, like the kind you get during a hangover. “My name is Kagome. I don’t know why I’m here. I just started walking and ended up here. Who are you?”

The girl helped her up. “My name is Kik Yonai,” she said bowing slightly, “This is my forest and you’re lucky I got to you first. There are some dangerous creatures in here. Now hurry along. On the way we can discuss how to get you home!”

“Uhh…OK.” Kagome followed Kik’s lead. They went through a winding, twisting path. Sometimes they had to go up steep hills. Kik seemed to have no trouble at all, but Kagome struggled greatly. By the time they reached a clearing at the edge of the woods she was covered with cuts and scrapes.

“Have a seat Kagome-chan and let’s discuss your situation.” Kik said cheerfully.

Kagome did what she was told. “I really need to get back. Inuyasha will be looking for me!” she said

“Hmm…does this place look familiar to you?”

She took a few minutes to think. “Yes it does!” she exclaimed, “This is around where I entered the woods!”

“Just as I thought, I smelled your sent all over this place. I shall help you find your way back.”

“Thank you Kik-chan!” Kagome exclaimed happily.

“You’re quite welcome. Now come on, come on! Quicken the pace! Cheerio!” Kik said starting off with a look of purpose on her face.

They were walking along when Kagome suddenly stopped. Kik sensing this turned around to see what the matter was.

A red flash went by and before Kik could comprehend what was going on Kagome was gone without so much as a sound.

“Kagome-chan!” Kik screamed running after the red flash.

“Kagome! Are you alright!? I…You didn’t come back for so long!” Inuyasha said almost worriedly.

“Inuyasha I’m fine.” Kagome said throwing her arms around his neck to keep from falling as he stopped suddenly.

“Are you sure Kagome because I-“Inuyasha got cut off by Kik running up looking fearful.

“Kagome, what’s going on?” Kik asked out of breath.

Inuyasha set Kagome lightly on her feet.

“Inuyasha this is Kik. Kik this is Inuyasha.” Kagome said pointing to each one. Inuyasha growled at Kik and protectively put and arm around Kagome’s waist. Kagome blushed. Kik bowed showing she meant no harm and Inuyasha loosened his grip, but not by much. Kagome was a little sad to feel his grip loosen. She liked to feel close to Inuyasha. Inuyasha stopped growling and stared at Kik.

“Well thank you Kik for helping me get this far. You are welcome to join us if you would like!” Kagome said cheerfully.

“Your welcome and I think I might just take you up on that offer.” Kik said just and cheerfully.

“Kagome!” Inuyasha whined, “You can’t just keep inviting people to come with us! We already have that lecherous monk and bothersome kitsune, and Sango too!”

“Oh Inuyasha would you stop or I will S-I-T you!” Kagome said angrily and apologized to Kik for his rudeness.

So off they went back to the camp where the rest of the gang was awaiting them with supper already prepared.

Half way there Kagome spotted a bloody body on the ground, trying to crawl away. She slid off of Inuyasha’s back and hit the ground hard. “Ow” she winced.

“Kagome! Are you ok!?” Inuyasha asked rushing back to her side.

“I’m fine. But I don’t think they are!” She said pointing and walking over to the figure. Once she got close enough she could tell it was Kouga and rushed to his side at once.

“Kouga! What happened to you?” She asked incredulously.

“Your dog shit for brains mutt is what happened” He said standing up slowly.

“Inuyasha….sit…”she said quietly. Inuyasha was pulled down by his enchanted necklace once again.

Kik was fascinated by this. “Kagome-chan why does Inuyasha wear and enchanted necklace?”

“Well Lady Kaede put it on him so that he would finish the task he was told to do. And I alone have to power to make him sit.” Kagome said happily.

“Kouga do you think you can make it home from here?” Kagome asked kindly.

“Yes. I believe so. Thank you for you kindness” he said kissing her on the cheek. Kagome pulled away and looked at Inuyasha. He started growling really low in his throat and quickly snatched her away from Kouga and off they went again with Kik following a little ways behind.

Sango, Miroku, Shippou, Kagome, Inuyasha, Kirara, and Kik were all seated around a nice fire eating supper when Shippou asked about Kik’s outfit.

“Kik what sort of clothes are you wearing? I’ve never seen anything like them!” Shippou asked in his innocent way he has.

“Uhh…” Kik looked embarrassed, “There from a different time.”

“Really? How old are they?” Shippou asked amazed.

“Not very at all. I just bought them. They’re from around Kagome’s time.” Kik stated.

Everyone spit out what they were eating/drinking or choked and looked at Kik very shocked.

“What? How can that be!?” Kagome asked “You can’t possibly know about the Bone Eater’s well!”

“Well I’ve heard of it…but no I don’t use the Bone Eater’s well…You see this necklace?” Kik picked up the necklace that had been hanging around her neck. “It is no ordinary necklace. It allows me to pass through time very much as the Bone Eater’s well allows you to Kagome. It has been in my family for a very, very, very long time…Since the beginning of the Shikon-No-Tama.”

Everyone stared in awe at this little thing that could do so much.

‘I feel as though someone is watching me again’ Kagome thought nervously. She sat up and looked around just in time to see Inuyasha look away very quickly. She stood up and walked over to where he was.

“Inuyasha what is it? Is something wrong?” she asked worriedly.

“No Kagome…Nothing is wrong…” Inuyasha said sadly.

She sat down next to Inuyasha and they sat in silence for a few minutes. Just as Kagome was getting up to leave Inuyasha reached out and grabbed her arm. He picked her up and ran off with her. Kik seen everything and was very happy. She knew what was about to happen….for she could read minds.

“Inuyasha what are you doing!?”

“Just shut up will ya!”

They arrived at a clearing in the middle of the woods. Inuyasha set Kagome down and sat next to her.

“Kagome…I….” Inuyasha started but couldn’t finish. Kagome stared at him with her big brown innocent eyes. He just couldn’t take it anymore. He leaned over and kissed her. Kagome was as shocked as the day she found Inuyasha pinned to the sacred tree. She was reluctant to feel him pull away.

“Kagome I love you.” He said staring in to her enticing brown orbs. She was shocked and stuttered upon her response.

“I-I l-l-love you too I-Inuyasha!” She exclaimed throwing her arms around him and hugging him gleefully.

When everyone awoke they noticed two things. One, they were hungry and Kagome hadn’t made breakfast as far as they could tell, and Two, Kagome and Inuyasha were missing. Everyone voiced their opinions; ignoring the perverted monk’s idea as usual.

Meanwhile Inuyasha enjoyed waking up with a beautiful girl in his arms. Once they were both awake they hurriedly went back to the camp. Inuyasha and Kagome were quite embarrassed at the stares they got once they arrived back. They explained that nothing happened, and the monk got a few smacks when he tried to differ.

“Damn monk, ruining every god damn good moment any one has!” The hanyou muttered receiving a good bonk on the head and a reprimanding for cussing in front of Shippou.
