“Kik of course we trust you!” Kagome said in the kind and assuring way she had. Both girls smiled warmly at each other.

Inuyasha, who had been sitting quietly in his tree listening intently on their conversation, finally spoke. “Kagome! Did you just let another person in our group!? How can you be so damn trusting!?” He growled out at her.

She ignored his rudeness and smiled up at him. “Because I’m not stubborn and I don’t hate everyone!” She replied.

Inuyasha was in front of her in a flash. “I don’t hate everyone Kagome. You know I love you!” He said quietly giving her a chaste kiss.

Shippou covered his eyes and made a gagging sound. “Eww! That is so disgusting!” He whined, as most children would upon seeing kissing. Kagome blushed and looked at the ground. Miroku cheered, receiving cold glares from Inuyasha and Sango, shutting him up instantly. Kirara just mewed, for she didn’t know what was going on, and she really wanted someone to scratch her behind the ears. She rubbed up against Sango’s leg, getting exactly what she wanted and purring contently.
