Shippo: But don't worry! It's already starting to grow back! See? *holds up
his tail and points to a single hair*
Me: See? A whole one hair! AHHHH!!!!!! *dodges roton tomatoes*
Shippo: *tail gets hit w/ tomatoe* O.O WHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! ToT
Me: ^-^0 Now see what you did???
Inuyasha: keh! damn brat! why's he so goddamn loud?! *gets whacked by Kagome*
I-I mean it's ok little cutey! ^-^0
All: O_O
Inuyasha: You're so cuuuute! *smiles a scary toothy smile and his fangs glisten*
Shippo: O.O AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

"My lord Aku. I've found her."

The supposed "rock" a few feet away from him unfolded to reveil massive wings!
In one swift movement, the wings flapped open, leaving you staring at a monsterous
creature!
The body was blacker than shadows at night! It's eyes as red as (Inuyasha's kimono! ^_^ just kidding! AH!!! *tomatoes*)
volcanic craters!

"Bring her to me."

Shippo couldn't remember when he had collapsed and blacked out. All he could
remember was being gently picked up and carried somewhere.
"Kagome..." he moaned.
Suddenly he remembered! Kagome!
"Kagome!!! Where's Kagome?!" he cried, sitting up quickly.
"Pardon?" a sweet voice asked.
Shippo turned around to see a small demon sitting by him, her face full of concern.
"Wh-who are you?" Shippo asked in alarm. Was this demon going to attack him?
"I am a fawn (as in the baby deer fawn)demon named Rivers. Do not fear. I am
not a servant of Naraku. What is your name little kitsune?"
"Sh-Shippo..." he answered weakly. "Where's Kagome?"
"I'm sorry..." she started, her face looking more concerned, "I do not not know
anyone named Kagome... Who is she? Your mate?" (she doesn't know he's only 8
alright! kits don't get much bigger than he is.)
"My mother..." Shippo answered hanging his head.
"Oh..."
Shippo lifted his head again.
"She's in trouble! I have to help her!"
It was then that Shippo really got a good look at the fawn.
She was a light cream color, almost white, with a white blaze on her forhead.
Her eyes were a gentle aburn, unlike any other color Shippo had ever seen!
Her back legs were long and slender with tiny crevaced hooves at the bottom.
Shippo also observed that she still had her spots, meaning she was very young,
probably not much older than he was!
(she also has a little deer tail in case you were wondering ^_^)
She was the most beautiful creature Shippo had ever seen! He blushed.

"Inuyasha? " Kagome asked softly.
"hnm?" Inuyasha answered sleepily.
"I've been meaning to ask you...why did you do what you did today?" She said,
looking at him as he slowly opened his eyes.
"Don't you know by now?"
"Because I'm your shard detector?" she replied weakly, her eyes getting wet with
tears.
She jumped as she felt a gentle, clawed hand wipe them away.
She looked at Inuyasha, who had a serious expression on his beautiful face.
"No. Because you're my best friend." he said softly.
He cupped her cheek. "And you always will be..."
