The Best Halloween Ever

Chapter 4: Realizations

 

Confusion racked her mind. Just what did all this mean? She was almost positive she had read too much into the statement. She almost wished she had never asked Inuyasha to this stupid dance, almost. As that thought crossed her mind, a hand reached out and gently touched her shoulder. She didn't notice due to her deep thoughts, that is, until she was wrapped in strong, familiar arms. She looked up seeing his amber orbs staring down at her with emotions that she couldn't place.

 

“Inu…Inuya..”

 

But before she had finished his name his lips met hers in a flesh searing kiss. It was a feeling neither had ever experienced. Her wide eyes slowly slipped closed as she succumbed to his kiss. All too soon he broke free staring at her.

 

“I'm sorry Kagome, I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have left either, but you have no idea how infuriating it was seeing a display like that in front of other males. You have to realize that you are mine. I don't know what I would do with out you in my life. You're all that I have. You don't understand how I feel about you…I never stop thinking about you and when you leave…”

 

He couldn't stop it. It was like word vomit that he couldn't control. He had just revealed almost everything he had ever tried to hide from the miko in front of him.

 

Her breath hitched. Were her ears failing her or did she hear him correctly?

 

“Inuyasha, I don't know what to say…”

 

`Great. Just fucking great. Way to go. She definitely doesn't feel the same way idiot.' Inuyasha, too busy bashing himself mentally, almost missed the words that escaped her tiny mouth.

 

“… I had no idea. I feel the same way I have just been too afraid of your reaction to tell you is all.”

 

For a moment, time stood still. All either could sense was each other. Her breath caught in her throat as she felt his lips on hers for a second time. But this kiss was nothing like the first. It was slow and heated, full of passion and love. He broke the kiss smiling and motioned for her to climb on his back. He swiftly took off.

 

What felt like seconds later they were comfortably perched in the tree outside her window. He gracefully jumped through to opening and placed Kagome on her bed. For the first time during her travels, she was thrilled for her family to be out. Sota was staying with friends, and her grandpa and mother were out of town with a sick relative.

 

`Don't you just love how fate works,' she thought to herself.

 

He turned, closed and locked the window, and returned to her side. He placed a light hand on her cheek, successfully pulling her from her thoughts. When she faced him, the emotion in his eyes was indescribable. She leaned forward slow, unsure of herself, but as her lips met his, all insecurities flew out the window. She was lost in the sensations plaguing her body. His had traveled from her cheek, down her neck, and to the swell of her breast.

 

He stopped, sensing her hesitation. Pulling from the kiss he knew it was now or never. He wasn't sure if he could stop himself if he went any farther.

 

“Kagome, are you sure about this? If you agree you will be my mate, bound to me for life. No other male will ever be able to touch you. Are you sure that is what you want?”

 

“Yes. That is all I have ever wanted. I love you Inuyasha.”

 

That was all it took. The last strand of Inuyasha's damaged control broke. Running a strong hand through her hair he pressed his lips against hers. His tongue begged for entrance into her warm mouth that she happily granted. He began to explore her. It wasn't long until there hands began to wander, subconsciously undressing each other. It didn't fully register with either until they felt skin on skin.

 

Breaking the kiss quickly he stared down at her. She was flawless. The beautiful features of her face, her long neck, and her full breast were a wonderful sight to behold. His breath caught. He was absolutely in love with this girl and he was bound and determined to show her.

 

She was in a similar state of awe as her hanyou. His features were perfectly masculine. His chest was broad and well built, the muscles flexed under her light touch. She was in heaven.

 

Without a second thought he attacked her throat. Lavishing it with gentle nips and licks. He could sense his demon blood begging him to take her, to mark her as his. He as assured himself that he would all in good time. His fangs scratched the junction of her neck and shoulder, where the mark would go, making her writhe beneath him in pleasure.

She was sure she wouldn't be able to wait much longer. Sensing her arousal only pushed Inuyasha further. He undid the tight shorts and removed them leaving her in only a black lace thong.

 

Responding to his actions she hastily undid his pants. He kicked off his boots and allowed her to push the pants down his hips. As they dropped to his feet he kicked them off.

 

She was in shock to say the least. He hadn't worn the boxers that she had bought, therefore his throbbing length stood out in all its glory for her to admire. He was quite impressive. She reached a timid hand out and wrapped around the base of it. Her hand barely reached around him… he was huge!

His claws and fangs lengthened to a deadly length. But surprisingly she wasn't afraid. It actually made her want him more.

 

He ripped the offending material off of her body leaving her just as bare and him. The demon licked his lips once again pressing them to hers. She could feel his fangs grazing her lips. The sensations driving her wild. She felt his large member at her entrance, teasing her before he took her.

 

Before it fully registered with her, he had flipped her on to her stomach, pulled her up on to her hands and knees and entered her. She felt no pain, her barrier being broken long before because of their very physical journeys. All she felt was an overwhelming sense of fullness and all the pleasure that went with it. “Mate” he whispered in her ear as he nuzzled her neck.

 

“Mate” was his reply. It made his heart swell and brought his human blood back to life.

 

As the transformation completed, he looked at her neck. He winced seeing the blood still spilling from the wound. He licked it clean bring new sensations into their bodies. He knew he had lost of explaining to do.

 

She rolled over in his arms smiling lazily at her lover.

 

“Inuyasha, why does everything feel, smell, and sound different? What's wrong with me?”

 

He laughed. He loved how innocent and oblivious she was.

 

“Well Kagome, by us mating, you know have demon blood. Blood that will never go away. You are still human but your life span has been lengthened, as well as you now have stronger senses. Also, if you ever need me, or you are ever in danger, you can rub the mark. Its kinda like calling me and telling me you need me”

 

“Oh” was his simple reply.

 

“Get some sleep now. We need to return in the morning.”

 

“Ok. Hey Inuyasha”

 

“Hm”

 

“This has definitely been the best Halloween ever. Thank you”

 

“You're welcome”

 

“I love you”

 

“I love you too mate”

 

They both drifted to the most peaceful sleep either had ever experienced. Both were looking forward to their new lives together
