A/N: I'm really sorry for the late update. I had a really rough week in school. I was failing every class and had to do a lot of make up work just to get a "you might be able to pass" from my teachers. Wish me luck on that. I also have final exams next week so I might update late again. Please continue to support and write reviews for my story, and I hope you guys can forgive me for the super late update. Chapter Five: The Bet

Naraku started walking, with Kikyo and Kagura following behind him.

"Talk to me about what Naraku?" Inuyasha asked, as he started following the three teens.

"About the dance. Remember when you, me, Koga, Kagura, and Kikyo agreed on picking each other's dates?" Naraku said, as he continued walking.

"Yeah, I guess. Why?"

"Well, Kikyo, Kagura, and I decided to make it seem more interesting."

"Seem more interesting? Ha! I doubt that I'm even going to that stupid shit. I don't think that its gonna be worth any of my time." Inuyasha snapped.

"Well, how about we make a bet then, Inuyasha?" Naraku said with a smirk curling in his lips.

"A bet? What kind of bet?"

"A chump change bet. As well as proving yourself."

"I don't have to prove myself to you. You're already shit compared to me."

"If that's what you believe."

"About the bet." Kagura began. "The amount of money that's in it is $5000."

"And the proving yourself part…" Kikyo continued. "You'll have to get the girl to sleep with you before the night is over."

"Ha! That's easy. Any girl would sleep with me." Inuyasha said proudly.

"If you're so confident about it, then take up the bet." Naraku said calmly.

"Fine! I'll take any girl of your choice to the Spring Fling, and fuck her before the nights over. And in return, I'll get $5000 and I have proven that I can get any girl in this school in bed with me."

"Fine, then the bets on. If you don't do this however…" Naraku started. "Then you'll have to give me half of the money you have."

"Half?! Why the hell would I do that?" Inuyasha yelled.

"Well, you are going to be able to do this, right?" Kikyo asked.

"Hell yeah I can do it. But I'm not betting half of my cash on it."

"I guess you're scared then. Its fine" Naraku said, as he opened the door that leaded outside to the school courtyard."

"Feh! I'm not scared! I'll do this stupid bet and add $5000 dollars to the rest of my money."

"Ok then, you have about a month and a half, since the dance is in April and we're currently in the middle of February." Said Naraku.

"Fine. You're on." Inuyasha said with a smirk.

"Ok, now to find your "date"" Naraku said as he looked around in the school courtyard.

"She has to be decent looking, I'm not taking an ugly ass bitch to the dance." Said

Inuyasha.

"I wouldn't pick an ugly girl, cause then you won't go through with the bet." Said Naraku as he scanned around the courtyard still.

"Feh!" Inuyasha huffed.

Naraku looked around the courtyard looking for a suitable girl to challenge Inuyasha with. When his eyes came across a table that had two happy girls sitting at it, he made his decision. He smirked and rose his arm pointing at the table.

"Her. That's who you have to take to the dance." He said.

Inuyasha looked over to where Naraku was pointing. He perked a brow then frowned.

"You want me to take HigurTrashi, to the Spring Fling and expect me to…" Inuyasha started to say.

"Yes, I want you to take Kagome Higurashi to the Spring Fling and fuck her before the night is over."

Inuyasha looked from the table that Kagome sat at, back to Naraku and kept doing that a couple of times. He made a funny look on his face and was about to say something, but was cut off by Naraku.

"You can't back out now Inuyasha, you already agreed to the bet. But, if you want to, you can back out now and just give me half of your money which, would mean that I've won the bet."

"Heh, I never back out in anything. I'll do it." Inuyasha said.

"Good. Now that that's settled, Koga and Kagura have already chosen their dates. You can either choose a date for me, or a date for Kikyo, to keep the agreement we all made back 2 weeks ago."

"Heh, ok. I'll choose a date for you Naraku." Inuyasha said, with a noticeable smirk appearing on his face.

"Alright then. Choose someone."

"Remember, you have to do the same thing that I have to do." Inuyasha continued.

"I don't back out in anything either Inuyasha. Now choose someone."

"You Naraku, have to take Kikyo to the dance and fuck her before the night is over."

"What?!!" Kikyo yelled. "No way! This isn't my dumb bet, just yours!"

"It's Naraku's bet too Kikyo."

"But why make him go with me?" Kikyo asked with her voice becoming a bit shaky.

"Well, that's because Naraku wanted to hook me up with trash. So, I hooked him up with even worse and used trash."

"Are you calling me a slut?!" yelled Kikyo, who was becoming Infuriated.

"That's enough Kikyo." Said Naraku. "I too have to go through with this bet. Live with it."

"I never said that I would do it."

"Well too bad, you either do it or I'll kill you." Naraku said in a serious tone.

"Now that this is over and done with, I'm gonna go eat something. I suggest you get used to Naraku's touch Kikyo. He's going to be touching you even more on the night of the dance, if he even does it." Said Inuyasha as he headed towards the cafeteria.

Kikyo cringed at the thought while Naraku and Kagura headed towards a lunch table. Naraku went back to having his calm, cold look and Kagura just stayed quite and followed him.

`Kagome would never go to the dance with Inuyasha. Choosing her was perfect since she can't stand him because of the way he treats her. With her feeling that way, he'll never get her to go with him nor will she even think about sleeping with him. This bet is in the bag.' Naraku thought.

Kagome stood up and walked over to a trash can to throw away her garbage. Sango was getting ready for last period and fixing her hair. The two girls were still quite happy and couldn't wait for the day to be over. Kagome sat back down at the table and gave Sango a funny look. Sango looked at her and perked an eyebrow.

"Uh, why are you looking at me like that Kagome?" Sango asked.

"Because…"

"Because what?"

"Because, you have to take me shopping afterschool!!" Kagome said, practically screaming.

"I know I know! Calm down." Said Sango, smiling at her friend's happiness.

The bell rang, signaling that lunch was over and that fourth period was beginning. The two girls said their good-byes and headed in different directions to get to their classes.

When fourth block ended, Sango and Kagome went to a clothing store and bought Kagome about 6 different outfits that looked great on her. They also bought some make up, perfume and earrings that would look good on her.

Inuyasha drove home in his red sports car. When he got there, all he did was pace back and forth in his bedroom. He just couldn't figure out a way to go about this. He was sure that Kagome hates him. He treats her like garbage, how can he expect her to want to do anything with him, let alone have sex.

`Damn, what the hell should I do? How do I go about this to even get her to just go to the dance with me? Dammit all! Why did he have to choose her?!' Inuyasha said to himself.

He stopped pacing back and forth. He walked over to his bed and sat on it, looking up at his ceiling. He placed his right hand on his head groaned a bit at the situation.

"Tomorrow, I'll work my magic." Said Inuyasha. "I'm not losing have of my cash to that Naraku. Tomorrow will be day one of prying a yes out of Kagome."

A/N: Well, that's Chapter five. Once again I'm really sorry for the late update. Oh, one reviewer of mine; well, actually a few of them keep thinking that Inuyasha now likes Kagome. Here's the sad truth. Inuyasha doesn't like her, he just thinks she's hot. Don't worry, he's not that much of a sucker. I do appreciate all of the reviews.
