Nearly a month went by before the silver haired Alberic recovered from his ordeal. There had not yet been a day when Kagome had not visited him wearing an odd, red hooded cape and carrying a monstrously large yellow basket full of remedies from the townsfolk. Strange items from a family named Hojo were immediately discarded. Alberic secretly found that the wildflowers from Rin, a young girl at the Abbey, always relaxed him more.
Kagome's visits were always more dependable than the rising of the sun, but the day was nearly spent and she had not yet made an appearance.

A/N: This drabble was originally written for the LiveJournal community dokuga(underscore)contest in their Weeky Perfection series. The prompt was #36 - Basket.
Someone brought up Teufel Hunden, or the Devil Dogs of WW2 (U.S. Marines). While there is no direct correlation, yes - the reference is appropriate. :)
As always, please review and let me know how I am doing! Thank you.
