Ch. 2 Decisions and Dates

 

Kagome was still holding the bow in one hand and the last arrow in the other. While sitting on the ground she aimed the bow and it glowed pink and she fired it and it split another arrow in half.

 

“Ha now I feel better” said Kagome standing up and grabbing another 3 arrows. She did a flip and didn't fire any arrows just let the bow glow.

 

“Ok that's down” said Kagome. “I didn't know you were miko” said Inuyasha.

 

“He he you haven't seen what I can do yet this isn't even a fraction of my power” said Kagome. “Really” asked Inuyasha.

 

“She can stop demonic weapons” said Sesshoumaru firing his poison whip at her. Kagome let her hand glow pink and caught it between her fingers.

 

“Wow amazing” said Inuyasha. “What can you throw at me” asked Kagome setting down the bow and arrows.

 

“Well the only thing I can send off would be blades of blood and they are 5 or 6 blades that will cut anything in there path the rest is just my claws” said Inuyasha.

 

“Interesting fire a round of those blades of blood for me” said Kagome. “Ok” said Inuyasha digging his nails into his palms until they bled.

 

“You ready” asked Inuyasha. Kagome just nodded her head and Inuyasha fired them at her.

 

Her hands glowed pink and she touched the first two and they disintegrated them came the other 3 and she shot off a little light that made them disappear.

 

“Beat that” said Kagome.

 

“Your good” said Inuyasha. “Yeah but Sesshy can still beat me in hand to hand combat I need to get better at that” said Kagome.

 

“Well he is demon you gotta take that into account” said Inuyasha. “Good point” said Kagome doing a back flip kick on Sesshoumaru who caught her foot.

 

“Man I still can't surprise you” said Kagome.

 

In a mere instant she was flipped around and in a backbend position with Sesshoumaru's arm under her.

 

“No” said Sesshoumaru as he let her go and she just jumped up. “Grrr… one day you're goin down” said Kagome.

 

“That would be the day” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“Hey don't forget I could purify you any second, don't mess with me” said Kagome.

 

“Hmm… if I purified Inuyasha he would turn human but if I purified Sesshoumaru he would turn to dust” said Kagome.

 

“Gulp I hate turning human” said Inuyasha taking a step back from Kagome. “Hey if I only purified you a little bit you may only be human for 20 minutes to a day” said Kagome.

 

“Im not gonna be a test dummy” said Inuyasha. “Grr… then I need to find another half demon” said Kagome.

 

Kagome did a backbend then a cartwheel then another backbend and somehow jumped high enough to get over Inuyasha because she ended up behind him.

 

“Don't test me” said Kagome letting her hands glow a bit. Then Sesshoumaru materialized behind her and lifted her up off the ground.

 

“You're forgetting that you'd have to catch us first” said Sesshoumaru. “Good point or I could just kill you in your sleep” said Kagome.

 

“That's kinda scary to think about, Im locking my door tonight” said Inuyasha taking a step away from Kagome.

 

“Im hungry” said Kagome. “Well it is about time for dinner” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“Yeah” said Kagome worming her way out of Sesshoumaru's grasp and running to the kitchen.

 

Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru flashed each other evil looks and ran after her. They all got there and ate dinner while talking.

 

“Im taking a bath and then going to bed, Inuyasha your gonna have to find something to do because normally while Im in the tub Sesshy is in his room/ library doing who knows what so if I were you I would get a movie off the TV and watch it” said Kagome.

 

“Feh, whatever” said Inuyasha as everyone left the table to do whatever for the rest of the night.

 

Kagome haply walked to the bath and started it. Then she went to her room and grabbed underwear, a green tank top that stopped above her belly button and green silk sleep pants.

 

Kagome walked back to the bathroom and didn't bother to lock the doors because no one bothered her. She grabbed a green towel and hung it up beside the tub that looked somewhat like a hot tub and set her PJ's on the counter. Kagome got in the tub and washed her hair and she was just about to start doing her body when there was a knock on the door and Sesshoumaru walked in, thankfully there was a shower curtain so he couldn't see her.

 

“When you are done I wish to speak with you” said Sesshoumaru leaving the bathroom.

 

Kagome finished up and dried her body with the towel. Then she changed into her PJ's and walked into Sesshoumaru's room.

 

“What's up” asked Kagome. “I was wondering if you would like to stay here for the night and watch a movie” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“Let me think I get to lay on the soft bed and watch the mega screen TV ummm… heck yeah” said Kagome flopping on his bed.

 

“On demand” asked Sesshoumaru grabbing the controller and going to the on demand menu. “That's fine you can pick the movie” said Kagome. Sesshoumaru picked Hills Have Eyes the unrated version.

 

“Aww why do you always have to pick a scary movie I always have to stay a second night so that I can sleep” said Kagome getting under the sheets on the left side of the bed and Sesshoumaru got under the right side and they propped up the pillows.

 

As soon as the movie started Kagome was already shoulder to shoulder with Sesshoumaru. After 10 minutes she was already clinging to him for dear life. After about half way through the movie she had her head buried in his chest and clinging to him even harder. After the movie was over Sesshy had to crack his back and had a hard time doing so because Kagome wouldn't let go of him.

 

“Im not going to leave you let go for a second” said Sesshoumaru. Kagome nodded and Sesshoumaru cracked his back then got into bed.

 

Kagome had already put the pillows back to normal. She was clinging to his chest for dear life as she finally fell asleep. She was dreaming about her and Sesshoumaru making out before she felt a shake on her shoulder.

 

“Whatever you're dreaming about stop I haven't been able to sleep for the last hour because how often your scent has spiked” said Sesshoumaru.

 

Kagome looked over at the clock and said “sorry I was having a really good dream”. “About” asked Sesshoumaru. “Never mind” said Kagome rolling over back onto Sesshoumaru's chest.

 

Finally she went back to sleep. When Kagome woke up it was 10 in the morning and she looked up to find Sesshoumaru gone. She got out of bed and went downstairs and found Inuyasha sitting on the couch watching TV with a cup of coffee in his hand. Kagome walked over and grabbed his coffee and flopped down next to him.

 

“Mmm… this is good coffee what is it” asked Kagome. “It's a secret” said Inuyasha ignoring the fact that no longer had any coffee.

 

“Aww… fine your gonna be making me coffee from now on” said Kagome. “Whatever” said Inuyasha?

 

Kagome snuggled up next to Inuyasha and he put his arm around her and they watched TV for a long time. When Kagome finished her coffee she stood up and said that she was going back to bed and just then Sesshoumaru came in and asked to see Inuyasha. Once they were gone Kagome got an idea. She put up a barrier around her and followed them to Sesshoumaru's room.

 

Both boys were in there talking and Kagome listened silently. “Im gonna ask her out before dinner today” said Inuyasha.

 

“Not if I ask her first” said Sesshoumaru. “Why should you get first dibs just because you knew her longer doesn't mean you're the only one that can date her” said Inuyasha.

 

“But it dose make me the most likely person” said Sesshoumaru. “I don't care Im still gonna try” said Inuyasha.

 

“Good luck when ever she's around me her scent always spikes so I've got a better chance” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“Yeah well her scent still spikes around me too” said Inuyasha. `Are they having a fight over me' wondered Kagome.

 

“We can't go on like this we need to decide by next month or else you will know what will happen” said Inuyasha. “Well your only half demon it's not as bad for you” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“Haha that's funny and Kagome could just purify me everyday” said Inuyasha.

 

“Good luck with that” said Sesshoumaru.

 

Kagome knocked on the door and walked in to see the two boys on opposite sides of the bed yelling at each other.

 

“I thought you were going back to sleep” said Inuyasha. “What's wrong Kagome” asked Sesshoumaru.

 

“Well I heard you from outside the door and I have an idea but I still don't know what the next month thing means and I don't think I wanna but my idea is that you each take me on 2 dates and I'll make up my mind after you each take me out” said Kagome. Both boys nodded and blushed.

 

“Now Im going to bed” said Kagome walking to her room blushing like mad.

 

Then she lied back in bed and fell asleep. Then she opened her eyes to see Inuyasha doing the waltz and Sesshoumaru walking up with a red rose in his mouth.

 

Kagome started cracking up and both boys ran in to fin out what was wrong. When Kagome saw them she just cracked up even more.

 

“What's wrong” asked Sesshoumaru. “It's… nothing…” said Kagome between laughs. “Sure it's nothing then why are you laughing so much” asked Inuyasha.

 

“Fine I had a dream that Inuyasha was doing the waltz and Sesshoumaru was too with a red rose in his mouth” said Kagome cracking up. “Well screw that idea” said Inuyasha throwing the rose he was carrying on the ground.

 

Kagome started cracking up and woke up. “Huh another dream about a dream that's messed up” said Kagome.

 

“What's all the laughing about” asked Inuyasha walking in with Sesshoumaru behind him. Seeing both the boys made her laugh even more.

 

“What” asked Sesshoumaru? “Just a dream about you both doing the waltz” said Kagome. “Umm… ok” said Inuyasha.

 

Kagome stopped laughing and sat up against the wall.

 

“Ok we've decided that Sesshoumaru will take you on the first two dates then I'll take you on the last two then you can decide” said Inuyasha.

 

“Ok” said Kagome doing a cartwheel out of the room and into her living room. Then she walked down to the dojo.

 

There she put up a barrier about 5 feet in diameter around her. Then the boys walked in.

 

“Don't go inside this barrier unless you want to be purified” said Kagome. “Ok” said Inuyasha beating the crap out of a punching bag.

 

All of a sudden the area that Kagome told them not to go into started glowing pink and then it started to spin like a whirlwind. Kagome was in the middle of that whirlwind floating.

 

“Dose she normally do this” asked Inuyasha. “No” said Sesshy.

 

All of a sudden the whirlwind stopped and Kagome was still floating. The air around her was still pink though. Then Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru saw Kagome smile then a huge flash of light hit and when it cleared the air was clear again and Kagome was floating down to the ground.

 

She ended up on her knees with her hands in fists in front of her body. Both boys took a step towards Kagome and she yelled “no not yet, don't come near me”.

 

All of a sudden she sat up straight and let out another flash of light then when the light cleared she was crying. Kagome let down the barrier and raised her head.

 

“What was that” asked Inuyasha. “Nothing, nothing at all” said Kagome whipping away some tears and grabbing her bow and a few arrows.

 

She turned towards the target and fired the first one and it hit the center of the bull's-eye. Then she fired another and it split the first arrow in half. Then she fired the last arrow and it split the other two in half.

 

Kagome sighed and set the bow down. Then she walked up to the wall and leaned up against it. She slid down it until she hit the ground.

 

“Are you ok you've never done that before” asked Sesshoumaru. “Yeah Im fine” said Kagome letting her hand glow a faint pink. “Oopse” said Kagome giggling a bit. “What do you mean oopse” asked Inuyasha. “When I have too much miko power I have to get rid of it, it's normally controlled by my emotions” said Kagome getting up and walking out of the room.

 

Both boys just stared at the back of Kagome as she walked out of the room with confused looks on there faces. Kagome walked upstairs and to the library in the house and sat down on a chair. Then she went to a section on dog demons and found a book and started reading.

 

She saw a sentence that caught her eye. `Once every year during spring time is mating season for dog demons, thought half dog demons are less affected they are still held by the mystical power. During this time they become very protective of the person they love and may even make a mark that looks like a tattoo on the back of the persons neck claming that they are there's. Each demon family has a different crest that they use for there mark. Half demons though are always associated with a maroon star.'

 

`I get it now they need to find someone to love before then so that they can claim them before the season changes' thought Kagome. `Wonder what they would do if I didn't pick' thought Kagome. `Better not chance it' thought Kagome with a sigh putting the book back she went downstairs and flopped on the couch and almost instantly fell asleep.

 

When she woke up she saw two sets of worried golden eyes above her. “She's coming to” said Sesshoumaru. “No dip Sherlock” said Inuyasha. Kagome just giggled and mumbled something like `good dream' and rolled back over.

 

"We know you're up so get off the couch” said Inuyasha. “I don't wanna” said Kagome. “Im taking you somewhere nice so dress appropriate and were leaving in 3 hours” said Sesshoumaru. “Ok” said Kagome getting up slowly and walking upstairs.

 

She walked over to her closet and picked out a lime green dress that was strapless, was a foot above the ground and was wavy at the ends.

 

“Yeah for dresses” said Kagome laughing.

 

Kagome set her dress on her couch. Then she walked into the bathroom grabbing her makeup bag on the way. She picked out green eyeliner, eye shadow, and shimmer. “After that” she said “I have 3 hours I need to do my hair, put on makeup, and get on my dress, ECT.”

 

`Wow I haven't been on a date since Kouga and that was years ago, this should be interesting' thought Kagome.

 

“Good thing I put all my stuff in the bathroom already, I loose things to easy” Kagome thought out loud. Kagome then looked through her closet to try and find something to put on her shoulders.

 

Kagome looked at her dress again and remembered. `Hey didn't Sesshy get this dress for me on my 17th birthday and I was too scared to wear it because it didn't want to get it dirty wonder what he'll think' wondered Kagome. Just then Kagome's cell rang.

 

“Hello” she answered. “Hey Kagome it's Sango, just wondering what your doin tonight” asked Sango.

 

“Well remember Sesshoumaru Tashio” asked Kagome. “You mean lord Sesshoumaru from high school you kept in touch, OH MY GOD, are you guys going out” asked Sango.

 

“Yeah kinda I bet he could hear that from downstairs” said Kagome laughing. “YOUR AT HIS HOUSE” screamed Sango happily. “Yeah long story but I live here now” said Kagome.

 

“OH MY GOD YOU LIVE AT TASHIO MANNER I WANNA COME OVER” screamed Sango.

 

“Stop screaming your gonna blow my ear off and they can probably hear you downstairs” said Kagome. “They?” asked Sango.

 

“Yeah Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha his half brother, they both wanna date me so Im giving each of them 2 chances and I will pick which one I want to date permanently” said Kagome.

 

“Wow that's complicated, oh you remember Miroku” asked Sango. “You mean our perv/monk the one you had a crush on Miroku” asked Kagome walking into the bathroom and turning on her curling iron.

 

“Yeah him, Im gonna go visit him remember he moved to Kyoto” said Sango.

 

“That's right why did he move again” asked Kagome.

 

“His family was killed and he needed to go take care of some business down there then for some odd reason ended up staying I think it was something like if he stayed down there for 2 years he would be able to inherit his families fortune” said Sango.

 

“That's cool so when are you leaving” asked Kagome. “The night after tomorrow night actually that's why I was wondering if you wanted to hang out” said Sango. “So two nights from now” said Kagome.

 

“Yeah and I was gonna see Kirara tomorrow but I have an idea I'll see her tonight and you tomorrow ok will that work” asked Sango. “Yep and I'll make sure of it” said Kagome.

 

“Thanks” said Sango. “So when are you getting back” asked Kagome.

 

“I think Im gonna say about a month that should be weird a month in a house with a perv” said Sango laughing.

 

“That should get interesting” said Kagome. “Yeah but I better let you get back to getting ready” said Sango. “Ok I'll see you tomorrow 5 ok” asked Kagome. “Perfect see ya” said Sango.

 

They both hung up and Kagome walked into the bathroom. She looked at the time and had 2 hours now to get ready. `Perfect' thought Kagome doing her hair until there was perfect swirls in her hair and then she pinned one side back with a white sparkly bobby pin so that you could see her ear. Then she looked through her jewelry and picked out a silver necklace with a green heart on it with matching earrings. Then she looked at the clock and there was 1 hour left so she put on her makeup and then took off her clothing and put on a skimpy robe. It was Kagome and Sango's tradition that whenever they had to go out on dates or wear dresses they would put on a certain kind of lotion that made there skin shine and was scentless even to a demon nose.

 

It helped them fit in the dresses better and made their skin smooth. So she put that on and then got her dress on. She looked at the time and had 10 minutes left so she grabbed her coat and green dress shoes that went between her toes and looked somewhat like a flip flop. She ran downstairs and sat on the couch next to Inuyasha.

 

“You look great but you won't need to dress like that for any of my dates” said Inuyasha. “Where's Sesshoumaru” asked Kagome.

 

“I don't know” said Inuyasha going back to watching the TV. A few minutes later Sesshoumaru came down and saw Kagome sitting on the couch and he smirked. `I bought her that dress' he thought.

 

He was wearing a white silky dress shirt and black dress pants and his shirt at the moment was unbuttoned.

 

“Kagome you ready to leave” said Sesshoumaru. Kagome jumped and turned her head meeting the eyes of a god.

 

“Yeah” said Kagome standing up. `Wow she looks hot in that dress' thought Sesshoumaru. “So what car are we taking” asked Kagome. “The limo” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“Really” asked Kagome. “Mhm” said Sesshoumaru. “Where are you taking me” asked Kagome as they walked out the door to meet the limo driver.

 

“You'll see soon enough” said Sesshoumaru. Kagome looked at him strange and got in the car.

 

“So what are your plans for the night” asked Kagome. “You'll see” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“Man you know I hate surprises” said Kagome. Sesshoumaru just smirked that was the closest he ever got to smiling ever.

 

Kagome sat back with her arms crossed and looked at the interior. There was a cooler, TV, hot tub in the back, a couch, and a bed.

 

“It's like a house in here” said Kagome. “Yeah we own this limo” said Sesshoumaru. “How come I never knew about this” asked Kagome. “You never asked” said Sesshoumaru. “Oh” said Kagome.

 

Sesshoumaru lifted Kagome up onto his lap sideways so her back was up against the wall and she could see his face. Her scent spiked and Sesshoumaru ignored it.

 

“Fancy limo, getting dressed up, where are you taking me” asked Kagome. Sesshoumaru just raised and eyebrow “not telling” he said.

 

Kagome looked Sesshoumaru right in the eye and Sesshoumaru kissed her. Kagome was shocked they didn't even get out of the limo and he had already kissed her, she kissed back happily though.

 

After they were done kissing Kagome wrapped her arms around his shoulders and put her head on his shoulder to hide her blush. When they finally got there the limo stopped Sesshoumaru helped Kagome out. When she looked up her jaw went slack. She was now standing in front of the most beautiful building she had ever seen. The building was called The Great Falls, Kagome found out why once she got inside. As Sesshoumaru led her inside she looked around at the building it looked old and elegant with white pillars and ponds. When Sesshoumaru and Kagome got inside Kagome noticed that there was a stair case and doors that lead to the main floor.

 

Sesshoumaru lead her up the stairs until they came to a booth. “Name” asked a man behind the booth. “Tashio” said Sesshoumaru.

 

The man checked his list and said “right this way” leading them to a door and opening it. When Kagome walked in her jaw went slack again there in the back of the room was a large water fall with black and white Koi fish. The room couldn't have been any bigger then a bedroom but it had a white table in the middle with two chairs. They sat down and the man waited for there orders. Kagome said she wanted Chicken on rice with pink lemonade. Sesshoumaru wanted Steak on rice with a Parrot Bay® wine cooler.

 

The man left with there orders and came right back in with there drinks exclaiming that there food would be out shortly. Kagome thanked him and he left. Then she took a sip of her lemonade and said “wow this is the best lemonade I've ever had” and took another sip.

 

“Man I miss high school it went by to fast” said Kagome. “It did” said Sesshoumaru. “I wanna tell you thanks for being my friend back there no one bothered me they were all scared of the lord of the west's wrath. You got me out of a lot of trouble also so I wanna say thanks” said Kagome.

 

“No problem” said Sesshoumaru mentally smirking.

 

Kagome motioned for him to lean forward and he did. As soon as he did so thought Kagome kissed him.

 

“Thanks” said Kagome after they broke apart. “Your welcome” said Sesshoumaru.

 

Just then there food came in and the men left. Kagome took a bite and Sesshoumaru could have sworn he saw her eyes do a flip.

 

“Oh my god this is so good” exclaimed Kagome taking another few bites. Then she tried to steal a drink of his wine cooler but just as she reached her hand to grab it she found herself reaching for thin air. When she looked up Sesshoumaru had it in his hand and took a gulp of if finishing off half the bottle.

 

“No fair” said Kagome. “Yes fair” said Sesshoumaru.

 

Kagome and Sesshoumaru finished off there dinners and continued to talk as the men grabbed their plates and walked away. Kagome again tried to grab his cooler but after she got it she realized it was empty.

 

“So not fair” said Kagome crossing her arms. “Still very fair” said Sesshoumaru. Just then he got a smirk on his face and said “let's go”.

 

They walked out the door hand in hand and Sesshoumaru threw a card at the man at the booth and said “put it on the tab” then they walked down the stairs.

 

Once out in the fresh air the limo pulled up in front of the building and Kagome got in first then Sesshoumaru. Kagome flopped on the bed and took off her shoes along with her earrings and necklace and put them in a cup holder. The limo pulled away and Sesshoumaru flopped down on the couch.

 

“So where to next” said Kagome lying on a pillow so she was facing the top of the limo. “Home” said Sesshoumaru unbuttoning his shirt. “Ok” said Kagome curling up in a ball on the bed.

 

Kagome soon found herself dosing off and it wasn't till later she was picked up by Sesshoumaru and unloaded from the car along with her shoes and jewelry.

 

Sesshoumaru got her all the way to the stairs before she opened her eyes.

 

“Where are we” she asked in a weak tired voice. “Home” said Sesshoumaru walking to her room and sitting her shoes down then sitting down on the couch with her in his lap.

 

“I had a great time” said Kagome kissing Sesshoumaru.

 

But this time Sesshoumaru testing his boundaries licked her lips asking for entrance. She granted him entrance and they explored the insides of each others mouth. Kagome moaned into Sesshoumaru's mouth. Sesshoumaru raised an eyebrow and thought `I have such strange effects on this one girl'. When they broke apart Kagome flopped back on the couch.

 

“Tired can't move” said Kagome closing her eyes. “Well we can't stay like this all night” said Sesshoumaru. “Why” asked Kagome. “Because we need to get some sleep” said Sesshoumaru.

 

“Fine oh Im going over to Sango's tomorrow” said Kagome. “That is fine” said Sesshoumaru. “Ok then help” said Kagome sitting up and spinning around to show Sesshoumaru the back of her dress that was laced up.

 

“How did you get this thing on” asked Sesshoumaru. “I don't know or for that fact remember” said Kagome.

 

Sesshoumaru undid the back of her dress and Kagome's scent spiked multiple times. As soon as he was done Kagome told him to go to his room and she would meet him there. Once he was gone she changed into her PJ's and walked through the bathroom to Sesshoumaru's room only to find him sitting on his bed in white sleep pants.

 

“Hey” said Kagome wandering over to him and flopping down on the bed next to him. “So you think Inuyasha's jealous yet” asked Kagome. “Yeah” said Sesshoumaru smirking, he seemed to be doing that a lot lately, much more then usual.

 

“I just wanted to say goodnight I have things to do before bed” said Kagome. “Like” asked Sesshoumaru. “Nothing to important” said Kagome standing up.

 

But before she could make it a foot away from the bed Sesshoumaru pulled her back and right into a kiss. Actually it was more like a make out session and Kagome soon found her back pressed up against the bed. After there little make out session was over Sesshoumaru sat up pulling Kagome up with him.

 

“How was that for a goodnight kiss” said Sesshoumaru. “I could get use to this” said Kagome smiling. “Goodnight” said Sesshoumaru. “Goodnight” said Kagome walking back thorough he bathroom to her room.

 

As soon as Kagome got to her room she walked out her door and to the study. She flipped on the desk light and grabbed a pen and paper along with posit notes. Then she walked over to the shelves with a cart and started to grab books on dog demons. As soon as she was sure she had enough she walked back over to the table and started skimming through the first book. When ever something caught her eye she would put a posit note on the page at the top.
