The carnival part 4

Kagome fell to her knees at the thought of loosing her baby. Miroku just kneeled down beside her and put an arm around her shoulder when inuyasha came toward them with a sword through his back.

"Inuyasha kagome is injured" miroku said when kagome fell to the ground as she fainted.

"Kagome, what happened to my dearest kagome?" inuyasha said as he limped over to her side and picked her up to his lap miroku pulled the sword out of him. Kagome awoke in his arms

"Inuyasha you ca… Me." kagome fainted again

"Kagome" inuyasha said putting his lover down to ask miroku some questions. "Miroku what exactly happened to kagome do you know?" inuyasha said

"She was beaten and abused by naraku and might loose her baby." miroku said shaking his head

"You mean kagome was beaten on by naraku, where did you find her?"

"i found her in a trash bag near Naraku's castle, when she woke up she had no idea what had happened to her and then she just collapsed and said her stomach hurts." miroku told him

"so our child might not be born…*sniffles*" inuyasha started to cry and walked over to kagome pulled up her shirt and touched her stomach lightly, putting his ear up to her stomach as well he could hear a faint heart beat and a larger one.

"Inuyasha how far along is kagome?"

"About eight to nine months, wait how could you not know all along?" inuyasha said

"So then what she had might have been a contraction or something" miroku said

Kagome was awake again when she felt the same pain as she felt when miroku found her. Kagome held her stomach and started to breathe heavily, inuyasha knelt down beside her, touched her stomach again lightly she was having her baby.

"Miroku go get sango and shippo she is having her baby" inuyasha said to miroku

"Inuyasha it hurts so much.. (wahh wahh)" kagome was crying and loud to, all inuyasha could do was wait until miroku came back with kaede because she knows how to deliver a baby.

"Kagome please hang on don't get hurt" inuyasha started to cry himself " don't worry love i will make sure naraku doesn't hurt you again"

"Inuyasha how is kagome" sango and miroku said riding kirara with shippo and kaede.

"Hurry up and get down here kagome is about to die"

"Leave it to me and kaede" miroku said

Kirara landed SMOOTHLY and the others got off running towards a crying kagome and inuyasha. Suddenly kagome felt even more pain and saw lights flashing in her eyes. Kagome screamed louder and louder.

"Shippo you don't need to see this, kirara take shippo to a farther place." sango said knowing how graphic labor can be. Kaede and miroku were trying to calm kagome down. Suddenly kagome was in her own kind of lala land as she felt the pain growing. Then the child came out blood covering it kaede cleaned it up it was a girl that looked like kagome almost exactly.

"Great kagome you did it, i knew you could do it," said inuyasha still holding her hand

"Inuyasha since she loves you, you should give her a bath to clean up the blood"

"Ok i will" after he gave kagome a bath they passed the child around, when it was Inuyasha's turn to hold the baby he kissed it gently, the others cheered at him taking fatherly responsibilities. Kagome just smiled at him lightly, when miroku got the baby it hit him in the face everyone giggled, shippo patted its head, sango tickled it, kaede just passed it to a very tired kagome, kagome and inuyasha both cuddled it. Inuyasha and kagome left the room so kagome can nurse it a while.

"Inuyasha i wonder what my mom will think"

"She will think that… she is adorable"

"Can we name her kalia?"

"Sure you name it whatever you want"

inuyasha found themselves kissing each other.

Back with the others

"i am so glad that kagome didn't loose her baby" miroku said smiling

"Why what happened miroku" sango said

"Kagome was kicked in the stomach and face a lot by naraku" miroku said

"can i ask you something houshi-sama, why did you know so much about delivering children?"

"well as a monk you must learn that as a good deed to remain a monk."

"oh so if you did not practice that you would get fired or something like that"

"yes and i would too as a miko."
