The quietness of the castle loomed across its many courtyards and gardens…

It was a castle built high upon the sea of Motosu and no where dared to near it…

 

It was the castle of illusions…

 

The castle had been there for a year by now and all living around the area had moved as they presumed that it was a bad omen for a castle to suddenly appear overnight…

 

Indeed a year ago, the castle was once destroyed but resurfaced immediately…

 

The owner of the castle was said to be an immortal, a fairy that came down to earth to punish humans for taking away her feathered robe of the heavens…

Miroku sighed as he watched the castle surrounded by a large sea…It had been a year now and there was still no way of rescuing both Inuyasha and Kagome…

 

Sango and taken Kirara to check around the place and had yet to return…

 

Shippo was sleeping somewhere near…

 

A year ago, the castle of illusions had surfaced, a youkai, Kaguya who ate a Tennyo in order to gain immortality used her powers to build a castle in the middle of that sea.

 

She had the power to stop all time and create illusions with her mirror…

 

The gang had destroyed the castle once, only to return to find it built again, this time stronger and more evil than before…

 

Kaguya, filled with hatred captured Kagome in order to lure Inuyasha into her castle, and she used her mirror to trap Inuyasha human side in it, turning him to a full youkai that knew nothing but killing anything that stood in his way…Kaguya had full control over him.

 

Kagome couldn't bear seeing Inuyasha kill innocent people when she knew the human side of him stuck in the mirror was suffering. So, soon after she offered to stay by Kaguya's side as long as she was near to Inuyasha, she knew she had a chance of one day freeing his human side from the mirror.

 

She was now Kaguya's servant and took care of everything while Kaguya spent her days mediating in a secret tower… Her battle with Naraku had weakened and she had to find a new body… Kagome had an aura of purity around her so Kaguya could not touch her…But Kaguya seemed please to keep her, she was just loved seeing people suffer especially the ones that destroyed her body and her plans to stop time forever.

The emperor sat at his throne rubbing his temple…

 

This was such a headache…There were warlords taking over lands and posing a threat, not to mention the new castle that had surfaced a year ago.

 

“Father, are you alright?”

 

A tall figure's shadow loomed across the room.

 

“My dear son, you are growing so quick. Soon it will be time for you to find a bride and settle down…”

 

“No father, not until I help you solve all the problems you have in hand right now. It pains me to see you so stressed everyday.”

 

“Haha! My good son! But dear son, there is nothing you can do… The warlords are too powerful for you to handle!”

 

“Father, what about the new castle that appeared mysteriously a year ago?”

 

“Ah…Yes, I didn't have the time to bother about that…It seemed much less of a threat, since it was said to be deserted. However many say that the castle is inhabited by a Tennyo, her maid and a monster. It is not safe to near it.”

 

“Shall I go father? Shall I go and check it out? It would be a good experience for me.”

 

“Dear son, how could I let you go like that?! It would be so dangerous!”

 

“Father, it would be a good experience for me. Nobody would know me anyway…”

 

“I… It seems that I cannot argue much with you… Take a few men with you and come back as quick as possible. If there are any movements from the castle inform us immediately.”

 

“Yes father.”
