The Little Death
Kagome pouted. “This is so not fair, Sesshoumaru. I didn’t sign on for this!”
The Daiyoukai growled appreciatively when soapy fingers slid through his hair. His leg twitched when the special spot just behind his pointed ear was found and blissfully worshipped. “Quiet, woman. You know you like it.”
Rolling her eyes, Kagome was nonetheless silenced by his admonishment. She did enjoy it, damn her feminine heart. Something about all that pretty, pretty hair, no doubt. Even if the other aspects weren’t quite as appealing.
“Here, now we wait five minutes.” she stated after ensuring every inch of his hair was full of the medicinal foam. Absently, she scratched an itch on her elbow. “You know, I never would have assumed that, just because you’re a dog demon, you get fleas.”
Resisting the urge to dunk his head under the water and remove the tingling potion, Sesshoumaru scoffed, “And humans do not? I am well aware of their atrocious bathing habits, Kagome. My small problem stems from my brief forays in my true form. Even youkai have fleas, or have you forgotten Myoga?”
Horrified, Kagome screeched, “You mean I’m killing a bunch of little Myoga’s!!”
He smirked darkly. “It’s either your poison or mine. Or do you want me to take them into our bed?”
Kagome shuddered. Turning the bottle upside down, she squeezed the remainder onto the silver hair before her. Half-feral, she scrubbed it in. “On second thought, one Myoga in this world is more than enough.”

The Hellion
“We shouldn’t be doing this,” Kagome gasped out. Pinned against the plaster wall, she groaned as hot, moist kisses silenced her protests.
Hands sliding beneath the thin fabric guarding her luscious breasts, Sesshoumaru ripped the shirt straight up the middle. Roughly, he claimed a nipple, his firm lips pulling and suckling fiercely. Kagome went wild against him. She speared her fingers through his hair, urging him closer with needy abandon as she wrapped her long legs around his waist. Her skirt and panties fell to the ground, released by an assisting, clawed hand.
Grinding into the heat that was now free to burn, the Daiyoukai snarled as she dug her fingers into his scalp, dull nails biting into the flesh with delicious torment. “Do you want me to stop?” he inquired mockingly in a lust-graveled voice.
“It’s wrong. Anyone could come by,” she moaned, half in protest, half in mortified excitement. “You are acting like a feral animal,” she added in a whisper. She’d been walking toward their bedroom when he’d waylaid her in the hall. Servants still scuttled about their business, for Kami’s sake! She knew it was her fertile time, but did he have to ‘mount’ her at every opportunity?
“Ah, my prudish mate, I am an animal at heart, but I am not feral,” he huskily murmured. “That would imply that I was once civilized, and this Sesshoumaru has yet to be tamed.” Accentuating his point, he released his straining arousal and slammed home. “And you enjoy it, don’t you? You are just as wild as I am, my little hellion, aren‘t you?” he growled out between hard thrusts.
Unable to respond beyond mewling pants, Kagome’s head fell back against the wall. His power rushed over her, leaving her breathless. Unrestrained, her breasts bounced in time to his torturous penetrations until he suddenly pulled out. Denied her release, Kagome cried out in pain, “Sesshoumaru!”
“Tell me,” he demanded with a short thrust against her aching core designed to remind her of the ecstasy that compliance would bring.
Driven into becoming that which she had declared him, Kagome screamed, “Yes!“ She pierced his hooded gaze with her intensely aroused one. “You make me wild, Sesshoumaru. Only you.“
Snarling at the admission, he rewarded her by spearing her wet passage with his demanding arousal. “Yes,” he hissed between clenched teeth as she squeezed him for all she was worth, “my little hellion.” Abandoning all pretense of gentleness, he pounded into her body, igniting both their senses until, together, they fell over the edge of all reason and simply felt.
Later, crushing her body into the futon as he once more claimed that which was his while allowing her no quarter, Sesshoumaru smirked into her lusty gaze. She could pretend to a civility with the rest of the world. He knew the truth, and he would make sure she never forgot it.

Sweets for the Sweet
Were it not for his new mate’s formidable temper, not to mention a sad lack of respect for his equally ferocious pride, he would not be wasting his time here. Here, being a dinner in celebration of his mating. His gaze eventually landed on his other half. Kagome, his estimable mate, was smiling at Jaken while he served the dessert: a light concoction of sweet bread glazed in honey.
Kagome gave a delighted gasp after tenderly nibbling on a piece. Eyes closing in pleasure, she moaned as the lusciously flavored dessert dissolved in her mouth.
A wickedly deviant smile twisted his lips. Sesshoumaru bypassed using a fork and lifted a small piece from his mate‘s plate. She turned laughing eyes on him. Her protest died as she was immediately ensnared by his seductive attention, drowning in golden heat and drawn further in by the promises made by his sinfully delicious mouth.
His prey unable to look away, Sesshoumaru’s tongue slipped out and lapped up a small bit of honey. Her chest heaved while blue eyes swam with desire, and he could feel her hunger grow to match his.
Eyes hooded, he discarded the glazed bread by placing it on his plate. He slowly cleaned his fingers, lightly flicking his tongue over the tips. Kagome swallowed.
He rose, ignored the lull in conversation and smirked triumphantly at her dazed acceptance of his hand. It was dinner time, after all, and he was a youkai possessed of a mighty hunger.

Sweet Dreams
Kagome’s fingers slid through silver strands of wonderfully soft hair. Leaning down, she took in the scent of incense and wood smoke. “Sesshoumaru?”
A soft snore was her answer as he shifted in her arms. Giggling, muffling her mirth behind a cupped hand, Kagome went back to stroking her mate’s hair.
He shifted again, this time rolling onto his stomach. He pressed his nose into her stomach, growled something under his breath, and then proceeded to relax in her hold once more. Every once in a while his back would arch slightly, while a deep growl would shake her frame with it’s virulence.
Kagome went back to watching the stars set out of her bedroom window at the shrine. He worked too hard, really. These trips home were the only time he was able to relax completely. But, the miko thought, she had a sinking suspicion his mind would not let free go so easily.
Sighing, wondering what she was going to do with her driven mate, Kagome was startled by his sudden movement.
Shooting to sit upright, Sesshoumaru tackled Kagome and pressed her head to the floor. He hovered over her prone position, staring at the ground as it at an unseen enemy. “She‘s mine, you baka! ”
Kagome blinked. What?
Just as suddenly as it had happened, he dropped to her side. Curling around her, the Taiyoukai commenced to mumble incoherent threats against his dream demons.
Well, Kagome decided, no more bacon before bed for him!

The Shadows
“Who are you?” A soft whisper that barely brushed the plump lips it passed over, the husky admission of confusion and doubt wrapped the pair in secrecy and pushed them over the edge of familiarity.
Back to the miko, clothing flapping in the strong winds even as his long silver mane defied the storm’s demands and remained a study of unruffled calm, Sesshoumaru glanced at her worry-lined countenance through dark lashes.
A moment of heavy silence passed before he replied, “I am Sesshoumaru.” Weary of the conversation, sure that there would never be an end to the questions, he turned on his heel in preparation to leave.
He had been mistaken. She was no different than all the rest of her kind. Constantly searching, poking and prodding, never content to allow one to just be.
“No, wait!” Heart pounding, she fought to bring order to the swirling thoughts that threatened to drag her under an internal morass of superfluous insecurities.
He paused, a brief respite from the biting cold as his solid form blocked the northerly wind that continued to howl about them. Drawn to close the distance between them, Kagome soon found herself staring up, lost and alone in his regard.
And then he leaned down, allowed her to see past the gold and into the depths of the shadows that danced just beneath the gold of his shuttered gaze- the ebony specters that clamored for a hold, spectral ancestors passed from father to son.
She shivered.

The Cure for the Common Hojo
“Oh, and take this dried newt, Kagome!” Hojo shoved another brightly wrapped package at the startled girl. “Steep it in tea with the orange peels I grated, just for you, and it will make your amplified rhinocorterous sumplerfy improve! I guarantee it!”
Pleading eyes lost on her friend, Eri, Kagome sighed. She gave a strained smile. “Thank you, Hojo. Er…if anything would help my…eh, well, you know, I’m sure it will.” She shifted the packages over-flowing her arms. Hojo had ambushed her just outside WacDonald’s, and she hadn’t reacted quickly enough to make good her escape.
“Oh, isn’t he so sweet? You should be so grateful that he cares so much about your health, Kagome. ” Eri stated, once the beaming boy walked away. “He really knows how to treat a lady! He and the girls and I worry so much for you…”
Struggling to keep the newt from making a get-away, Kagome didn’t reply. Eri’s voice accompanied her all the way home.
~&~
Confronted with his half-brother’s odd group, Sesshoumaru’s cutting reply to one of Inuyasha’s inanity’s was interrupted by the miko sneezing. He sneered, stating coldly, “Cover your mouth, girl. I‘ll not have Rin contract your disgusting human disease.”
Glaring, she was about to reply, but she stopped. A smile bloomed on her face and she began to laugh. She stopped to cough occasionally while he looked on, non-plussed.
Eye’s watering, she smiled sheepishly. “Sometimes…it’s nice to have a little vinegar to balance out your life.”
