Chapter Twenty-Four

 

`I'm going to get too used to this' Kagome thought as she slid into a hot springs. `All these baths and no looking for the jewel shards…we needed a break, but usually all Inuyasha thinks about is the shards. I wonder if he is thinking about Kikyou and Sesshomaru. Does he regret that he never got to really be like with her like Sesshomaru is now?'

 

Kagome sighed. “You know, Inuyasha. I don't think that you have to worry about anyone coming to stare at me or try and get a glimpse. Sesshomaru wont look-he seems more like a cold fish than you are, and Sango wouldn't let Miroku near here especially when she knows that I am bathing.” “How do I know that you won't try and catch a glimpse” she added under her breath.

 

Inuyasha kept on staring off into space.

 

“Inuyasha? Inuyasha?”

 

“Now he's not paying attention to me” Kagome grumbled.

 

Kagome chuckled, then splashed Inuyasha.

 

“HOT! HOT! HOT! HOT! Oi! Kagome what are you trying to do?! Boil me alive?!”

 

“You weren't paying any attention to me dog-boy.”

 

“You're bathing, so if I pay attention to you you'll “sit” me all the way into your era!”

 

“It would be nice if you would listen when I'm talking to you.”

 

“Kagome!” Shippo called. “Can I join you?”

 

“Sure...come in Shippo.”

 

Shippo ran in and started getting undressed. “Why aren't you in the tub with Kagome, Inuyasha? Have you still not gotten very far with her?” Shippo added with a devilish gleam.

 

“Uh…Uh…”

 

“I still don't know what that means, but you always get red when I say that…also, you guys have kissed, but I guess that must not have something to do with it.”

 

 

 

“Master Jaken!” Rin called cheerfully. “Is Rin going to have brothers and sisters soon?”

“Don't be silly Rin. Lord Sesshomaru would never lower himself to have hanyou children. Why he keeps you around is entirely unknown to me. If I…”

 

“Master Jaken-there is something on you.”

 

“What?! AHHH! AHHHH! I feel sorta sleepy….” Jaken collapsed blowing nose bubbles.

 

“Hi…I'm Rin. What's your name big bug looking guy?”

 

“Hmmmm…nasty tasting fellow, but a meal is a meal. I'm Myoga, and a flea demon. I don't suppose I can get Sesshomaru or Master Inuyasha to allow me a sip of their blood without getting noticed or flattened…”

 

“Oh…Ok…want to come with me to give a bouquet of flowers to Lord Sesshomaru?”

 

“Actually…I cannot see Lord Sesshomaru with you because…I…have to go and collect information…that's right…information. See you.”

 

Rin picked some more flowers then skipped off back to the castle chanting “Will it be a boy or will it be a girl? Rin wants a baby to play with now.”

 

 

“There is nothing here-my father, the most powerful demon, does not have anything in his library about a miko and a demon marrying…not even anything about a hu-“

 

“Ok…Sesshomaru. We have to have a talk.” stated Kagome as she barged into the library. “We are here, and as your guests, you should pay some attention to us. I haven't even seen you around. You are a newly wed, and I don't think you are even spending any time with Kikyou…you guys are suppose to be doing…well…you know…what married couples do…and…well? What do you have to say for yourself?!”

 

Sesshomaru gave her a blank stare. “What do married couples do?”

 

“Uh...well…uh…uh…MAKE BABIES” said a very red Kagome. “Uh…I gotta find…uh…I gotta go” as she ran out.

 

“It seems as if the Kamis are telling me something. I do desire offspring…they will be strong with a Miko and a demon as a mother and father. JAKEN!”

 

Instead of Jaken, in came bounding Rin. “Master Jaken is sleeping. Are you going to make him go and get Rin a brother or sister?”

 

“Yes.”

 

“Ohhhhh….shall Rin wake him up then?”

“Isn't there a fox-demon around here? Why don't you play with him?”

 

“Ok” and off scampered Rin.

 

“Now to find my wife.” thought Sesshomaru.

 

 

 

“Are you a fox-demon” asked Rin.

 

“A kitsune…yeah.”

 

“I'm Rin. Want to wake up Jaken with me? Sesshomaru-sama said that he was going to fetch Jaken to have him get me brothers and sisters. I wonder how he does that…”

 

A devilish smile appeared on Shippou's face. “Why don't we ask him.” was Shippou's reply.

 

 

 

“Inuyasha…just the man I wanted to see. Take a bath with me.”

 

“Oi monk. Fine.”

 

 

`Sango must be feeling a little down with Inuyasha and I getting together and then with Sesshomaru and Kikyou getting married…Rin and Shippo eve seem to be getting along. I know! I treat her to a spa day! I'll do her hair and make-up…she's always fighting and traveling, so she never gets to do any of this girly stuff…it will be fun!' thought Kagome.

 

“Hey Sango! How about I'll wash your back and do your hair and make-up for you? We also might get an interesting reaction out of Miroku…it'll be fun!”

 

“Well…ok. He has seemed to run off with Inuyasha somewhere. Have you noticed that he seems to run off with him more now that you two have started-“

 

“Yup, but lets go!” said Kagome as she started dragging Sango to the bath house.

 

As Kagome opened the door, she got a full view frontal of Inuyasha standing up.

 

“Monk-I don't know! Ask her yourself you fucking hen-Oi! Kagome!”

 

“Uhuh…GOMEN! OSUWARI!!!” said a red Kagome as she ran out.

 

“Why does that wench sit me whenever she sees me naked?” asked Inuyasha after the effects of the spell wore off.

“Why are you smiling Kagome?”

 

“Inuyasha has a really nice body…all of it”

 

“You've been traveling with the monk too much.”
