Chapter-4 (Who is this man)



“Excuse me”, I said to him.

"My name is Shippo and I know what happened to you."

I stood there shocked, and took a few steps back.

“Wha... what do you mean?” was all I could ask.

With that he took his hat and coat off.

"May I enter?" he asked me.

I showed him to the coach. When he walked past I noticed something. A tail.

I then looked at his head; there were ears, just like Inuyasha!

“You're not human,” was all I said.

He chuckled, “Don't worry. I'm 100% human. But just like you, this was caused by an accident.”

'How did he know that?' I thought to myself.

“Many years ago," he started, "I was working in my lab. I was experimenting on Fox DNA. But then something happened! All I remember was blacking out and waking up in the hospital three days later.”

“Oh, my”, was all I said.

"I found out what happened that day after my partner explained it to me. He said that a mixture of chemicals caused an invisible and undetectable gas which caused me to pass out.

Due to some strange genetic mutation from the fox DNA, I began to grow body parts similar to a fox, such as this tail and the pointy ears."

"You mean, just like Inuyasha?" I asked him

"Similar to Inuyasha, but there were some differences. My intelligent expanded. Answers came to me out of nowhere, Telepathy, My strength grew, not to mention my sight and hearing enhanced over 5 times."

"So what do you want with me?" I said in a curious but aggravated tone. I got up off the couch and walked to the window. There was Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, playing around with Kagome on the street below. I turned and walked back over to Shippo.

He gave a smile then reached into his pocket, “I am part of a team of people just like use enhanced ability used for good.”

"What?! Are you saying there more people like us?"

He smiled and nodded. "Yes, there are at least five of us. Three were caused by accidents and two with uncanny accuracy in fighting and shooting."

"Who are they?"

"Well, the two gunmen we have are The Humanoid Typhoon and the Cowboy. Just like Sesshomaru, the Humanoid Typhoon used to have a transformation problem, but we have helped him to control it. There's The Cowboy also known as Spike; he's loyal but short tempered.” He smiled as he handed me a picture of both these men.

"We found them wandering in the streets of downtown. They had nowhere else to go; and out of luck."

 

“The 3 that were caused by accidents are, Me, Known only as Shippo and you already know my ability.

”There's Edward but he likes to be know as the Alchemist. His ability's are simply amazing. He's able to manipulate the world around him to do what he wants it to do just by clapping his hands; he's also able to morph his arm into anything he pleases. He's very mysterious and was hard to find”. He reaches into his pocket again and hands me a picture of him.

 

“He's just a kid,” I said in shock as I examine the picture.

 

“I know, but he's very strong” He says to me as he walks to the window and look down.

 

He leans against the window frame.

”Then,” he said “there's Arucard, Mysterious as he is deadly.

 

“A powerful vampire, who for reasons unknown has chosen to work with us”, he began to tell me.

 

“He's able to regenerate from nearly any wound, Arucard can also teleport and open up a portal to the netherworld. He may have other powers yet to be demonstrated,” he told me as he looked at the street and smiled.

 

“What do you need with us,” I said as I got up and walked over to him by the window and noticed what he was smiling at.

 

“I think we need to bring Sesshomaru and Inuyasha and tell them,” He said to me.

 

I nodded. I reached over to the window and unlocked and opened it.

 

 

“Hey Inu, Sessh, I need you guys to come up here for a second we need to talk,” I yelled to them, I then closed the window and Shippo and I walked to the couch.

 

He sat down while I went to the kitchen to fix a drink.

 

 

I heard the door open and then close. I peeked out around the corner to see Inuyasha and Sesshomaru walk into the living room.

 

 

I heard Shippo introduce himself then called me out.

 

 

Shippo then began to tell them the same thing he told me, but there was a difference, they seemed more excited then me.

 

 

“Naraku, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are you willing to join our group?” he said as he walked back to the window.

 

“I don't know, I think we might need some time to think, this is all kind of sudden”, I said walking over to him.

 

He looked at me, and then said, “You have until midnight tonight, I'm sorry for the short notice but we are strict and need a definite answer.”

 

Inuyasha then spoke up, I think I speak for all of us when I say we are happy to do it but we need to know a few things first.”

 

Shippo walked over to Inuyasha with a smile, reached into his pocket and handed him a card.

 

“This is where you can find us”, Shippo said.

 

 

Shippo then walked towards the door and opened it.

 

 

“Think about it, one of my men will get in contact with you at the end of the night,” he said

 

Shippo gave us a wink walked out the door and closed the door.

 

 

“Remember”, I heard him say through closed door, “tonight one of my men will show up.”

 

 

We looked at each other; I motioned to Inuyasha to come over to me.

 

 

“Hand me the card,” I said to him.

 

I looked at the card, and all it said was “The City of New York”.

 

 

“Oh yea this is going to help us locate them”, I said id disbelief.

 

 

“I think we should all get some rest,” Sesshomaru says.

 

“I'm going to go get Kagome”, He said while he walked to the window and called down to her.

 

 

 

Inuyasha went to his room, Sesshomaru and Kagome went to there's, and me I stayed on the couch and thought about how this is going to change our life.

 

This is really big; I thought to myself, This is going to change our entire life.

 

I must have dozed off because what woke me is something I'll never forget.

 

 

 

Hey wake up, a voice said

 

 

I slowly opened my eyes, it was dark, all I saw was red.

 

 

“Hello mister baboon”, another voice said.

 

My eyes then shot open, there in front of me were two men dressed in red both wearing gold sunglasses and both very tall. There eyes looked almost god like due to whatever light was reflecting off of them.

 

One of them was wearing a white glove, and a hat.

 

The other was wearing black gloves and had extremely blond hair.

 

 

They stood next to each other near the now open window, as straight as possible, Just looking at me.

 

 

 

“Your time is up,” the one with the hat said.

 

“Do you have an answer”, the one with the blond hair responded.

 

And all I could say was, “Umm……..”

 

Oh sorry didn't mean to be rude, let me introduce myself, the one with the blond hair said.

 

 

I'm Vash the Stampede, also known as The Humanoid Typhoon, He says as he lowers his glasses and gives me a wink.

 

 

And I am what hell has denied, I am Arucard.

 

 

 

Inuyasha and Sesshomaru who were still up came out of there room and into the living room.

 

“Are you the contact,” Inuyasha asked?

 

 

“Who are you guys,” Sesshomaru then asked.

 

“We will join”, I said as I stood, and walked over to Inuyasha and Sesshomaru.

 

 

A clap of thunder and a blinding flash of lightning filled the room, with that they were gone, disappeared in thin air.

 

Only one voice was then heard.

 

“Well be in contact tomorrow,” Vash's voice echoed

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next chapter-5 (“The Kyoudai” is Born) the next morning is the first day of there entire lives Naraku has a life changing experience.
