Chapter 13

Inuyasha's hurt

"Ugh… " Kagome groaned. She felt like shit… She forced her eyes open and tried to get up out of bed. What time was it? She managed to sit up for 5 seconds before falling back down. Kagome whimpered. She got up and stumbled over to the bathroom.

After spitting up everything she ate or drank the day before… Kagome had a nice long hot bath. Lasted 3 hours. Kagome couldn't get herself out. It was too comfortable and hot… She felt better but she would rather stay and relax in the bathtub instead of prancing about the house. Kagome argued with herself for about 15 minutes… And she won… against herself.

She got out, dried off, and got dressed in a big white T-shirt and some red boxers. Her hair was down and dripping on the floor. She didn't feel like drying it. Kagome went down stairs and into the kitchen. She fixed a cup of coffee and went into the study. Kagome sat down on the couch in front of the desk and sipped her coffee. After she was done with her coffee she set it down on the coffee table and turned on the TV. And then… she fell asleep.

Inuyasha unlocked the door to his house and stepped in out of the rain. He turned set the alarm and quietly made his way up stairs to his room. It was late and he didn't want Kagome to wake and find him out. He was covered in blood and gore. He had cuts, bruises, scratches and scrapes all over him. Inuyasha went into his room and locked the door behind him and then into the bathroom to take a bath. Inuyasha shed his cloths and got into the hot water. Sigh. "My body aches…" he whimpered.

PLOP! "OW!" Kagome looked up at the ceiling. "Falling off the couch is NOT COOL!" Kagome moaned and sat up. She gathered her energy, turned off the TV and made her way up stairs. Kagome was just up the stairs when she heard running water. It stopped and then a splash. Kagome looked towards Inuyasha's door and saw under the crack in the door that his light was on. `Inuyasha must be home and taking a bath…' She thought. Kagome just stood there and thought for a moment. Then she shrugged and went into her room.

Inuyasha had finally gotten out of the bath and gotten dressed in blue boxers and a long black T-shirt. Then went down stairs to get something to drink. He walked back up stairs with his glass of water but stopped when he heard a whimper. Inuyasha turned towards Kagome's room. He opened the door to check on her. He walked over to her bed and sat down beside her.

She was asleep. Kagome was all curled up and bundled up in her blankets. She'd twist and turn and make sounds in her sleep. `She's having a nightmare…' Inuyasha set his water down on the bedside table and leaned over Kagome. He rubbed her cheek with his thumb and she calmed down. Inuyasha smiled and leaned in closer to Kagome till their faces were almost touching. Inuyasha's eyes got heavy and he leaned in a bit farther.

Then Kagome's eyes snapped open and Inuyasha toppled off the bed. "Inuyasha!" Kagome sat up and turned on the lamp. Inuyasha mumbled a few choice words and groaned. Kagome hoped out of bed and kneeled down beside him. "Are you ok?" Inuyasha sat up. "What is your problem?! Were you TRYING to push me off?" Inuyasha growled. Kagome huffed. "I didn't push you! You jumped! And what are you even doing in here?! On my bed?! Leaning in on me!?" Kagome and Inuyasha both blushed.

Kagome gasped. "Inuyasha look at you!" Kagome touched his arm were a cut was. Inuyasha pulled away. "It's nothing, I'm a youkai-" "Hanyou." Kagome corrected. "Point is, it's nothing, ok? I'll heal fast. It doesn't hurt. It doesn't bother me. It's nothing!" Kagome looked down into her lap. "I know, I… I was just worried…" Kagome looked back up at Inuyasha and he smiled. "I'm ok." He reassured her. Then he got up and left the room.

And… hey! He forgot his water! Haha! Oh well. Anyway, here's your update, k? I did it. I got into the spirit forced my brain to think and made the next chapter. Be happy. I cannot wait till I finish this story! I have so many other great ideas in my head! Ok, well, not that great to you maybe but I like em. I'm not very good at this fanfic thing am I?
