(A/N: HAHA!!! I had 3 cups of coffee today and of course I dunno how to make coffee so that was some strong ass coffee too. And so it's just now kicking in and I'm trying to do like, 50 things at once. Clean my room, listen to music, watch TV, finish a jigsaw puzzle, read, write, type and eat. Chapter 14

Fluffy worries

Sesshomaru paced around his office biting his nails… er, claws. Kagome hadn't contacted him in days, weeks, turning into months. Word got out to the rest of the staff there and Sango started playing hooky and Miroku kept giving him the cold eye. Sesshomaru would fire them but they were friends to Kagome and they were really good workers. He didn't want to lose them. Even though they were really pushing his buttons.

Maybe Inuyasha caught her. What would he do with her? He sure as hell wouldn't kill her, would he? No, Kagome was too much like his mother. Kind and pretty. Inuyasha wouldn't be able to kill her. Sometimes he wondered why his little half brother was a criminal anyway. His mother was a nice kind person and their father was a noble person. What the fuck went wrong with him? Wild Child. His mother probably spoiled him. Sessho never liked that woman. She was nice, but she was, er, too nice sometimes.

`He had better not lay a finger on MY Kagome! And knowing him, he's probably already hitting on her! Doesn't he have his dead bitch, what's her name? Kikyo? Yeah. Player…'

Sesshomaru got a bit too worked up and slashed his desk in half with his poison claws. Some one really needs anger management. He decided to go get some lunch while his desk stopped steaming. Then he could catch up on some work later on. Good thing he missed the computer.

"That asshole! He put Kagome in danger by giving her this Inuyasha case! He should have never even mentioned it to her! He knew damn well that something really bad could happen to her if she were to get caught!" Sango flared. She had always really despised Sesshomaru. He was stuck up and a smart ass and an asshole and…

"Sango, calm down. I'm sure she's all right. Besides, she knew the dangers of the case, and she took it. So it's not completely Sesshomaru-sama's fault. He was just doing his job in assigning the case to the best and it was her job to take it." Miroku was trying to calm the girl down. She had gotten pissed at Sesshomaru and stopped working. And all she ever did now was complain and worry over Kagome.

They were at a small restaurant having lunch. Sango was silent in thought and stared out the window while eating her food. Miroku took this as an opportunity to hitch his hand up her thigh and to her… *SMACK!* "Ow…"

Sango handed him a small hand held mirror she kept in her purse. "Look at that! Do I really have to hit you three times in 15 minutes to get it through your thick head that I don't want you touching me there!?" Miroku examined his three red hand marks on his cheeks then gave the mirror back to Sango. His hand moved toward her again. "Would you rather me touch you else where Sango?" He smiled. *SMACK*
