The End of a Quest

Chapter I Hello
Locke was in the mountains. That's how he found the well. The special well. The special well on his grandparents land. He placed his hands on the rocks to leaned over to see if there was any water in the well and the rocks gave away. As he was falling through the well he slammed his head on the side and went into the abyss.
When Locke came around, he heard birds chirping. He opened his eyes and looked at the birds, and looked around, and looked for the house. All he saw was the well. But, after thought, < What the hell? These aren't blue jays and cardinals. And this isn't Tennessee………. And how in hell did I get out of the well? > Locke looked for a trail, but instead, saw smoke. < Must be a fire……. FIRE MEANS PEOPLE. >
Locke started in the direction of the smoke. After about twenty minutes of walking he saw the village. He started toward the village it, but then stopped. It was a old type of village. It had thatched roofing. There were rice fields surrounding it.
As he came in to clear view a few of farmers saw him. "It's a youkaia!" "Run," "Warn the searchers!"
Locke racked his brain, trying to remember what a youkaia is. He thought back to his Japanese lessons and then it hit him. Demon. He could understand why. Six feet tall, muscular build, white wearing all black, with short spiked black hair with blue tips. Locke was about to say something when he heard it. It was a little boys voice.
"FOX FIRE!"
Locke felt himself being picked up and thrown through the air. Darkness had claimed him before he had hit the ground.
Locke heard voices but he didn't open his eyes. He was still lying on the ground. He felt an animal rubbing against his face.
"I think he is a demon!" a male voice exclaimed.
"I don't think so Inuyasha. Kilala seems to like him." A strong female voice said.
"I think Sango is right Inuyasha. Besides, what to you sense?"
"I can't tell. It's a very strange smell." Inuyasha said.
<Shit, > Locke thought <I never should have put on after-shave today. >
Locke sat up and opened his eyes. All he saw was a broad sword.
A monk pushed away the sword. "Put that away, Inuyasha. I am Miroku. This is Shippo, Sango, Kagome, and Inuyasha. Who are you?"
"I am Locke."
"Sorry I shot you." Shippo said.
"What was it?"
"It was my fox fire."
"Where and when are you from Locke?" Kagome asked nicely.
"America. 2003. Why? And where and when is this?" Locke asked a little nervously.
"This is feudal era Japan. Because I am from Japan, 2003. Let me guess. You came to a well, fell in and woke up outside it."
"Yes."
"Same thing happened to me."
Locke then felt fur rubbing in his arm. He looked down to see a very small white, black stripped, two tailed fox. It was rubbing and walking around his arm. "Who and what is this?"
"A fire fox. Her name is Kilala." Sango replied.
Just then Locke saw Miroku about to place his hand on Sango's rear, she smacked him so hard he flew into the wall and stayed there.
"Pervert," she said angrily but with certain sadness "I am going to bed."
As she walked away, the rest of them just watched Miroku twitch against the wall.
