Ch.2

~At The Police Station~

"Please? You just have to. Kagome needs me. She won't be able to make it on her own." Sango begged trying not to sound too pathetic.

"Sango, I know you think you want to go through with this, but you don't know rough that place re***y is. What kind of father would I be if I sent you there for no other reason than to be a safety blanket for a friend?" Sango's father, who just happened to be the police lieutenant, said as he flipped through some homicide case papers.

"She is my best friend, and if it re***y is as rough as you say, then she needs me more than ever right now. She didn't commit that crime. She isn't the type of person who could steal a piece of gum, let alone 10,000 dollars." Sango pleaded as she sat down in front of her father.

"Sango, I can't just send you to a camp for no reason." Sango's father said trying to find a good excuse not to send her.

"Then make something up. Say I started a gang fight or something." Sango suggested as she gave her father the best puppy-dog eye stare that she could muster. Sango's father sighed.

"Alright, I'll see what I can do. How long do you want to go for?" He asked.

"8 months is what I believe the judge said…" Sango murmured knowing her father wouldn't like the idea of her being in a hell hole for 8 months.

"8 months!?!?!!" Her father exclaimed. "I can't and won't send you there for 8 months!!!!"

"How long can you get me in for?" Sango said ignoring her father's objection.

"Well..." He lagged on the subject, trying to lower his voice. "If I say you started a gang fight, I can get you on for about...umm...I'd say about 7 months."

"Only seven? You mean she'd be there alone for a month? Can't you get me in for any longer?" She pleaded.

"You know, most people would be trying to lose a month of time at that place, not gain one." He laughed as good naturedly as a father could in this situation.

"How long?" Sango said starting to get annoyed as she gritted her teeth.

"7 and a half, if I say something like you resisted an officer, at the most."

"I guess that'll have to do. When can I leave?" She asked settling for half a month short of Kagome's sentence.

"Two days, including tomorrow." He said filling out Sango's forms for the camp.

"But Kagome leaves tomorrow at noon." Sango explained.

"Well then I guess you'll arrive a day after she does, cause' that's the best I can do." He said looking at her sorrowfully knowing she wouldn't be the same when she came back.

"Alright. I guess that's better than not being able to go at ***." She said more to herself than to her father.

"Oh, so is that *** you have to say?" Her father asked slightly hurt that Sango hadn't shown any appreciation one so ever.

"Of course not, Dad. You know I am very grateful for your generosity. Without you Kagome would have to go through this whole horrible incident *** by herself." Sango said as she stood up and gave her father a hug.

"You're welcome, Sango. I just wish you weren't so intent on going through with this," The lieutenant was trying to dissuade his daughter, but to no avail.

"I'll be fine. It's Kagome I'm worried about. I have to go." Sango said as she took the papers she would need to get aboard the bus. "Well, I'd better go back home. I have a lot of packing to do. Bye Dad." Sango c***ed as she walked out the door heading for her house.

~At Kagome's~

"So your boss, that Totosai guy, he fired you?" Kagome asked Kouga as she packed *** the stuff she could fit in her bag.

"Yea. It doesn't re***y matter though. I was planning on quitting when he c***ed me in. I hate that damned bastard with a passion." Kouga answered angrily. The thought of the old manager was making him grit his teeth.

"Re***y? Why would you quit?" Kagome asked curiously.

"What do you mean why? I just told you I hated the old man with a passion. Isn't that reason enough?" Kouga questioned as he watched Kagome intently waiting for her answer.

"Hating someone is no reason to give up your job. Just because you didn't like him doesn't mean you should have to give up something up that you like." Kagome said knowingly to him as she tried to close her suitcase.

"But he made my job hell. He only gave me a hard time 'cause he hates me too."

"Well too bad for him. If he doesn't like you then tough. He can get over it." Kagome said with an attitude that Kouga had never heard nor expected to hear from her.

A/N~ Like I said, appearances can be very deceiving. Just wait. It gets better later on in the story.^_^

"Well I don't even like the job anyway." Kouga said truthfully, momentarily shrugging off Kagome's previous personality change.

"Why?" Kagome asked with curiosity, seemingly back to her cheerful, goody-goody girl, self, still struggling with the over-burdened suitcase.

"No action. Well, at least not until you came along." Kouga said teasingly with giddy eyes and a huge smile.

Suddenly what Kouga said made everything that was happening or going to happen dawn on her. She realized that she was going to be away from her home for a very long time, and she worried about her house and her pet cat, though she tried not to show it. Obviously Kouga noticed this and stopped his teasing. Kagome grunted one last time, sitting on the suitcase and slamming the lock shut in one movement. Now the hard part. Dragging it down the h***…

"Look, Kagome I'm sorry." He apologized, walking through the marble h***ways with Kagome beside him. "You'll get through this. You are obviously a strong girl or you wouldn't have made it through interrogations. You can do this. And if it will make you better, I'll be there. I was planning on waiting to tell you, but now I guess would be a good time." Kouga said encouragingly, not expecting the response he was about to receive.

What Kouga said seemed to do the trick in putting a smile on her face. Then she started laughing, leaving Kouga dumbfounded.

"Thanks Kouga, but I'm not worried about me, I'll be fine. I'm worried about my house and my Buyou. They'll be alone for 8 months. Who's going to take care of them?" (sp? On the cat's name?) Kagome asked, she stopped her laughing at the look on Kouga's face at her last statement.

"Y-You're not worried about Camp Feudal? That place is the toughest boot camp there is." Kouga was shocked with disbelief at Kagome's light words. He figured she was extremely brave, or just incredibly naive.

"I'm shaking in my go-go boots, k? Now who is going to take care of my house and cat?"

Kagome said the first part with sarcasm-like venom oozing off of each word, and then turned surprisingly seriously cheerful when she turned the subject to her house and cat.

"I-I'll see what I can do," Kouga said obviously more than a little surprised that this girl named Kagome Higurashi that he met in the bank. The "tot***y innocent" girl he took her for could not even break a sweat thinking about going to the most feared boot camp in the country, but was liter***y freaking out when it came to her damn house and a fucking animal.

"Good. Now are you going to help me pick up these bags or what?" She asked with again the goody-goody girl personality back in control.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Don't tell me you're scared. Of course if I was a hanyou, I'd be scared of me too. Why don't you just go back home to the whore of a human you c*** `Mother'." The man teased as he watched his rival's face go from mocking to full out rage in just one sentence comment.
"Big words for someone so weak. My gang and I would accomplish nothing from defeating a weakling of a gang such as the 'Thunder Brothers', and I must say that if my mother was such a whore, then do explain to me about *** of your bastard brothers standing behind you. How many would you say there are, Miroku? Twenty? Thirty? Forty maybe?" Inu Yasha said mockingly with a smirk on his face that said he was having fun using Hiten's own words against him.
Hiten was about to make another "insult" on Inu Yasha when a voice cut him off. "Enough chattering. I say we start this rumble between the 'Fangs' and the 'Thunder Brothers' on right now!!!" An ugly, disfigured youkai, Manten, as he was c***ed, yelled raising his fist as *** of the others in his gang did the same. But before they could even make a move over half of their gang was on the ground either unconscious or wounded severely, but not-a-one dead. Hiten, Manten, and about ten of the cowards that hadn't been attacked yet watched as Inu Yasha, Miroku, and Shippo landed back on the ground where they were before, with not even a single drop of blood on them.
"See what I mean? We've only attacked once, and there are only about 12 of their gang left that is still able to fight. What a waist of our time." Inu Yasha said to Miroku and Shippo, the only other people in Inu Yasha's gang, almost casu***y. They were so strong; there wasn't any need to have anyone else in their gang. Besides, Inu Yasha didn't trust anyone else enough to let them into the gang.
"You think you've won just because you took out a couple of our weakest fighters? And you didn't even kill them." Manten said quizzic***y watching the 'Fangs' leader intently.
"First of *** I don't think we've won, I know we have. Secondly, a couple? We've already taken out over half of your gang. And thirdly, we didn't kill them because unlike you are strong enough to control our powers to the point where we can take down our opponents without bloodshed." Inu Yasha informed him in a voice that clearly said he was absolutely positive that what he spoke was fact. Nothing but plane, hard fact.
"I'm tired of talking; it's time to end this!!" Hiten yelled as the rumble `started'. Inu Yasha and Hiten started it. Throwing punches here and there, and dodging them as well. Miroku took on Manten, who was just as blood thirsty as Hiten. And Shippo easily took out the other remaining weaklings. Throwing them through windows and wreaking havoc along the way. Seeing how they were in the middle of the street, pedestrians were running about screaming and yelling bloody murder so frantic***y, it was enough to give one a mind-spliting headache.
In the time it took Inu Yasha, Miroku, and Shippo to finish off the 'Thunder Brothers' gang, which was about 5 minutes, the police had responded to the silent alarms that were set off by the 'Thunder Brothers' gang's bodies smashing through windows and stores, that happened to be "in the way".
"See, I told you it would be a waste of our time." Inu Yasha laughed out as he finished off Hiten by giving him a "soft" blow to the gut. Than the sounds of sirens reached their ears.
"Shit, Shit, Shit! Let's go guys. Time to get out of this hell hole." Inu Yasha yelled over the havoc and police sirens that appeared to be heading their way. Inu Yasha and Miroku were grabbing their bikes and about to follow Shippo, who had already gotten onto his motorcycle and was now speeding away thinking that his friends would catch up, when the police surrounded them and they were trapped.
A/N: They *** have motorcycles… not tricycles… Motorcycles. Nod if you understand… (nods) Good.
They could have easily jumped the police cars and gotten away but the police had already gotten a good look at them and knew who they were. One of them that they recognized as `Joe' c***ed out to Inu Yasha. "Nice seeing you so soon, Inu Yasha, my friend. Can't you just stay out of trouble long enough for your dad to forget? He's going to be re***y mad this time, ya know?"
Inu Yasha laughed at his words and replied, "Yea Joe, I know. But what can I say? I'm one of those guys who likes to get wet and wild with the turtles of the law."
They *** started laughing at his comment as he and Miroku were put into a police car.
~At The Police Station~
"Inu Yasha, how could you get into another gang fight after your brother Sesshomaru and I just saved your ass from the one you pulled last month with the 'Yura of the hairs' gang? I'm sorry son but we can't do anything to help you this time." Inu Yasha's father told him sternly as he took of Inu Yasha's handcuffs before he got tired of portending they could actu***y hold him and broke another pair.
"Hey it's not my fault I got caught. Maybe you should tell the pigs to drive slower." Inu Yasha laughed sarcastic***y.
"Don't be a smart-ass, Inu Yasha. This is it. I have gotten you outta' so much of the shit you've gotten yourself into, but I can't do it anymore. I've talked to Sesshomaru and there is no need for a trial. But the best he can do for you is 8 months at Camp Feudal."
"8 months? Is that ***? I thought for sure I'd be sent to jail. 8 months at some juvenile camp is a piece of moon cheese."
Inu Yasha exclaimed unbelievingly as he watched his fathers face change from pity to disbelief.
"I don't can't believe you're not taking this seriously. Yes, Camp Feudal is a better sentence than jail, but that is no reason to take it lightly." His father stated as he handed Inu Yasha the info. He could see his son would need to know about the camp.
"Yea, yea, whatever. So this Naraku guy is the warden? And let me guess, this Kikyo wench is his whore?" Inu Yasha asked with a look of disgust on his face as he looked at her picture. She wasn't re***y ugly; she was so pale that one would think she was dead her outfit had neon flashing lights that howled `I'm a whore, eat me out'. Inu Yasha quickly rearranged the papers so he could look at the ones that would tell him about the other "kids" that would be going as well. He stopped when he found them and started reading the info about each one to himself and try to listen to his dad at the same time. He found it was impossible so he decided to read about the other "kids" after his dad had left him again.
"Yea, that's the warden. And I suppose she's his "whore" as you put it. Oh, and your friend Miroku, he's been sentenced to 7 and a half months there."
"Hey! Why doesn't he have to stay there for 8 like I do?" Inu Yasha asked skeptic***y.
"Because he's not the ring leader of your "gang", and he wasn't the one who caused *** the damage," Inu Yasha's father stated smugly with a smirk.
Inu Yasha knew that he didn't cause *** that damage either, but he wasn't about to expose Shippo to the police.
"If you didn't go around causing destruction, then maybe you wouldn't get caught." Inu Yasha's father said calmly as he left the room.
"Thank god. I thought he was never going to leave." Inu Yasha said to himself as he resumed looking at the pictures and profiles of the other delinquents he would be tormenting at the camp.
He started reading the names and information about them aloud for no reason in particular.
The first name he saw was his~
1. Name- Inu Yasha Tetsusaiga
~Age-23
~Sentence-8 months
~Crime- started gang fight, caused mass hysteria.
2. Name-Miroku Houshi
~Age-22
~Sentence-7 months and 15 days
~Crime-partaking to Inu Yasha Tetsusaiga in gang rumble, and in so causing mass hysteria
3. Name-Joe Shinimori
~Age-22
~Sentence-6 months
4. Name- Sango Hirakaitsu
~Crime- started gang fight, resisted police arrest
"Wow, didn't know girls could start gang fights. Wonder what gang she is in…" Inu Yasha thought out loud as he looked at her picture. "Miroku would like her. Probably going to grope her the entire time." Inu Yasha laughed as he continued reading the names of those who would be in his cabin area.
From what he read, there were 4 cabin areas, but they would only be able to associate with those in their own cabin area, so he didn't bother looking at the others. So he continued, but stopped to look at the next and last person on the list.
12. Name-Kagome Higurashi
~Age-19
~Sentence-8 months
~Crime- attempted thievery of the dollar amount of 10,000 from SunTrust Nation Bank.
Inu Yasha lingered on her picture.
"Wow. She's gorgeous. But she doesn't look like she would do something like that..."
In the picture, she was wearing her hair in a high ponytail, and had on a dark blue halter top and in bold, disruptive lettering it stated `Deceived'. She also had on a pair of normal, baggy guy-ish looking jeans. He could see she was filled out in *** the right places, but for some reason could only concentrate on her gorgeous face. Despite the clothing, she looked innocent and fiery. He shrugged it off, but took the piece of paper with her picture and information and put it in his pocket instead of putting it back with the other papers.
"Now, I have something to look forward to," Inu Yasha smirked to himself as he decided to stop looking at the papers and take a nap.
