Soul of Kagome- Thanks, I thought it started out good too. Of course I am the author so I may be wrong. Well, I don't think the pairings really matter so it won't be a serious issue.

The Future Past 3: Kokoroyori Yume Souma

(AN: `thoughts'=thoughts ok, on with the story)

"Lord Sesshoumaru, Lord Sesshoumaru, please, you must help the town. The town I sunder attack," yelled the inn keeper in panic.

Ryosuke's POV~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I woke up with a yawn, but instantly stiffened as I took in the smell of blood. Then I heard an old man's voice calling father to help the town. I remembered him calling me Sesshoumaru so I interpreted as him asking me to save the town. That explains why I smell blood.

"I shall help along with the rest of the group. Go, find a place to hide yourself," I said.

I got up and dressed myself in the clothes chichi-ue gave me. I had to admit it was comfortable even with the armor on. I walked out of my room and knocked on all the shoji doors around me. Moans sounded from them and then opened. Keisuke was in his red fire rat kimono, Sasuke, in his robes with Saika in his arms, Meira, in miko garbs, and Saika, in her battle armor.

"The town is being raided. We must save it," I commanded in father's cold voice. `I didn't mean for my tone of voice to be like chichi-ue's, but it always end up that way when ever haha-ue's in danger.'

We exited the in and started to fight against the demon's that surrounded the town. I took on a fire youkai, and found that he wasn't as easy as he looked. Though he was small in size, the youkai was fast.

My poison claws missed again as it made way to him. He took advantage of my shock and gifted me with a fire ball, fortunately, he missed. I attempted to connect a punch to his stomach as I flew by him and succeeded. He doubled over so I turned and kicked him. He got up and met the floor again as my youki whip made contact with his abdomen. I dismissed the whip while I held him by the throat. I was about to crack it as I felt my chest burn. Pain started to emit from it. The demon was dropped when I tried to put out the fire growing rabidly on my chest. It took a few moments, but it was gone.

I attacked him anger rising from the pit of my stomach. My eyes blurred red as power surged through me. That poor excuse for a youkai hurt me. I won't let him live. I went after him with my enhanced speed and slashed his back. Blood gushed from his wound. He turned towards me so I seized my opportunity; I dashed towards him and grabbed his neck. Before he could do anything, poison mingled with his blood; seconds past as the body went limp in my hand. I discarded him since he was dead. My eyes cleared itself of crimson red as my anger drifted away but was soon returned when I found myself surrounded by demons of all sorts.

Again they we're powerful demons. I8 noticed that all of them wore black from head to toe as if they would die from wearing other colors. Wait a minute, black, trade mark color of Yami. They're members of Yami. Perfect, I shall kill them all and capture the leader of this troop to ask the where about of haha-ue.

I chuckled evilly then asked, "Are you people members of Yami?"

"So you've guessed, but it matters not, for you shall be dead before you can announce to your family who we are," answered a young, well built, dragon youkai who contains spiked golden hair and silver colored eyes.

"We shall, see about that," I stated confidently.

The man's mouth twisted from my confidence making his good looking face look ugly. I smirked, and then attacked the bastard.

While Ryosuke was fighting his share of the demons, his siblings were too.

Saika dodged chain sickles while Meira was busily emitting waves of energy to ward off the hard skinned youkais. Keisuke hastily gave his load of enemies the taste of his Wind Scar that he learned from his oji-san (AN: it means uncle and I know it's a lot like ojii-san but it isn't, k?) as Sasuke manipulated his staff to kill off the youkais after him.

Though the demons were killed it took quite a while to defeat them. Once, the town was decided safe, the royal family reassembled in front of the hotel and was told of the next step by Ryosuke.

"I can sense this leader," informed Meira. "She's located between the boundaries of this town and Kinta Forest."

"Then that is where we will go," stated Ryosuke as he went through the fighters to make way for the so called leader.

The group sighed and followed, while all of them are thinking if the youkai in front of them was really their Aniki/friend or actually their chichi-ue/Sesshoumaru. If they didn't know better that Ryosuke was a cheerful little child when his haha-ue was with him they'd think he was Sesshoumaru.

A few moments past when Keisuke made his remark, "Feh, beating this wench should be a piece of cake since all can sense is her weak youki and her smell of roses and spices."

"Honestly, otouto, you must be utterly stupid," retorted his older brother. `He has much to learn.'

"WHAT?!"

"Aniki is saying that her youki is weak because she is trying to cover it up to not make her look suspicious," explained Meira.

"Oh."

"I do not understand, why do all of you refer to the youkai as a female? We have not seen her before so how could you tell?" questioned a very curious Sasuke.

Saika shook he head and explained, "Both male and female's scent contains a certain smell that determines the gender. For males is a tinge of earth while for females is sweet grass. "WE determined the youkai is a girl because besides the aroma of roses and spices is sweet grass."

"Inter-"

Before Sasuke could finish the sentence his jaws nearly dropped to the ground; as the same with his friends. They were stunned from seeing the most beautiful Kitsune demoness in their entire lives.

The platinum colored hair cascaded down to her waist while simultaneously fitting perfectly around her oval face. The large almond shaped hazel eyes shined fiercely with confidence. The rosy fine lips smiled as her nose sniffed the air to determine her visitors.

"You have all finally arrived," stated her perfectly, pitched smooth voices as she came nearer to the group, showing off her curves.

Ryosuke was first to snap back to reality, then the rest. He immediately discarded the pleasant thoughts of the kitsune, and despised her fro making him feel out of control. Then slipped on his father's emotionless mask and questioned her. "Who are you? Are you part of Yami and if you are, where is haha-ue?"

"A curious creature isn't you, very well, I shall tell you. I am Kokoroyori Yume Souma, the fifth and last administrator of Yami. As for your mother, you will have to conquer all of Yami to find her. It is smart of you to connect the clothing of your mother's kidnappers with the clothing of the tiger youkai, who was a member of Yami, but that does not mean you will get to her. You must defeat all five administrators and the founder to get to her, which I don't think you can achieve.

"You dare doubt our abilities, much less my abilities to save my haha-ue. Then you are harshly mistaken. I shall defeat you myself!"

The prince speeded towards the demoness with immense speed, but found nothing except for air. He then felt pain along his spine and figured it was the female kitsune's youki ball. Ryosuke turned around at an even quicker speed and lashed his youki whip at Yume's shins and succeeded. She kneeled down, but quickly got up. Then all of a sudden, millions of images of Yume surrounded Ryosuke.

"Hn, this trick will not work on me," whispered Ryosuke.

His youki whip, once again, lashed out; hitting every single copy of the demoness. She doubled over since she received the blow on the stomach area. The inu youkai took advantage of the spare time and stood back up just to find no one except for his team.

"Where the hell did she go?"

"Behind you!"

He turned around in time for Yume to score a kick on his cheek. Then his eyes turned blood red once more. Ryosuke's body was quickly surrounded by white light as it started to grow bigger and brighter. Then, as quickly as it appeared the glow dissipated.

A huge white dog, about half the size of Sesshoumaru's beast form with a crescent moon on the forehead stood before everyone.

"So you want to play, eh."

A silverfish cloud formed around Yume, and just like the cloud around Ryosuke, it, too, began to grow bigger and brighter. Then disappeared, revealing a silverfish fox about the size of Ryosuke's dog form.

Red flames surrounded her four paws. Pointed ears accompany the silver fur at the top of her head as the leaf like shape engraved on her forehead glow bright green.

Both transformed youkai charged towards each other and formed an endless battle; until Ryosuke finally bit into Yume's right shoulder. Yume couldn't take the poison from Ryosuke's fangs anymore and collapsed, but not before reverting back to her humanoid form. Ryosuke gave a howl of victory then turned back to his human form too.

He stood for a second, but collapsed to the ground almost instantly. He told Saika to capture Yume then fade away to unconsciousness.

AN: I suck at writing battle scenes. Anyway isn't the description of Kokoroyori Yume very similar to the on e at the end of chapter two? Well, the girl at the end of chapter two IS Kokoroyori Yume. Anyway………………….

IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yume's first name is Kokoroyori Yume is because it means pleasant dreams and I wanted that for her first name so that is way she seems like she has two separate names. I'm telling you this just so you know and ask why such a weird name.
