“Come with me my love.” The beautiful girl whispered into the young mans' ear.

 

The young man stood up and started to follow her at a leisurely pace. “Where are we going?”

 

“It's a surprise. Now be quiet.” She scolded him softly. They walk in silence for ten minutes until they came to a clearing with a stunning waterfall. The rock face was covered in greenery and the mist from the fall made the area look heavenly.

 

“It's…amazing” the words rolled off his tongue between the pauses. He turned to face her. She gave him one of her warm smile and turned back to the picture perfect scene.

 

She pointed towards the rock face. “There's a cave inside of there. I want you to see it. Look inside.”

 

“Look inside.? Why?”… `What could be so great about a cave when they were together'…his thoughts were swimming.

 

`Why?' His Question had surprised her. `He never really questioned her'. She let her eyes linger on his handsome features before answering him.

 

“Just look”… “For me”. She unleashed one of her warm smiles.

 

He nodded and walked up to the vines and other greenery that covered the small cave entrance. He looked back and she motioned for him to go forward. Turning he walked into the cave. It was kind of small. He saw the back after only fifteen steps into the cave.

 

`Nothing's in here? What's she playing at?' he questioned himself.

 

“Kikyo.!” He yelled back. “There's nothing in here!” he turned to head back. As he turned the air started to become thick… `What's going on? His body felt like it was under water; each movement was sluggish and difficult. The he saw her…kneeling. `What the hell was going on? Was she hurt?'

 

“What are you doing?” He waited…nothing… “Kikyo!” his voice came out kind of strange. He looked closer… `Was she chanting? What's going on?' His mind swirled. “I'm not moving fast enough I'll never make it to the entrance.' He kept moving despite this knowledge.

 

She finally looked up “You'll pay for what's happened to my family and friends.!” Her eyes took on a dark gleam. Her normally warm smile was colder than that of a man on his death bed.

 

He stopped struggling “What !?!”

 

“Now die Inuyasha!!” her statement held the power of the spell.

 

`Kikyo' His thoughts turned from her to the spell that was taking control. `He could stop it but why bother' he thought. He lived for her she was everything to him, all he had left in this damned world.

 

“You….” His words came out as nothing more than a whisper. “ YOU !..” It took everything to get a full word out. “Y-y-y.” his arm reached for her and his wings erupted behind him. Then every thing went black.

 

 

She stood up on unsteady legs, smiling at her accomplishment. She had done it. After all these years she had finally avenged the death of her family and friends. He was dead and now she was free to live her life. The spell that had captured him hadn't worked correctly but he was still sealed away. She covered the entrance to the cave and walked off to her informant.

 

 

“Naraku” Her voice held none of the power it had earlier. It sounded weak and tired. The spell had taken everything she had. “Naraku!” she called once again

 

“What is it now Kikyo?” Naraku let out in a most displeased voice. It had been over two years since he had told Kikyo of her families death and she still hadn't killed Inuyasha… `The only thing standing between him and control of the four lands was that abomination and the humans and demons alike rallied about him. If she ever kill Inuyasha his very soul might be lifted. That was if he hadn't sold it for the power he now held.'… He mentally laughed at his own Irony. He slowly made his way back to the girl in front of him.

 

“It worked” She looked up from the ground smiling “Just as you said it would”

 

Naraku sat in total shock. `It worked' the words repeated in is mind over and over `It worked'…the shock was quickly evaporating and was being replaced be an ear shattering laugh. “IT WORKED!!” he laughed.

 

Kikyo flinched at the sound of his voice. It was worse than the scream of dying men. His laugh suddenly stopped and his eyes fell on her.

 

“I'm leaving Naraku… thank you for all your help.” She turned and headed to the door.

 

“Kikyo?” voice called out

 

“Yes” she said while turning

 

“I'm sorry I can't allow you to leave” his voice showered everything but remorse.

 

“What?”

 

“You see now that he's gone I'm free to rule”

 

“ And what's this got to do with me??”

 

“ You see” Naraku said with a smile “You are the only one that can remove the spell. And I can't any accidents happening. Now can I?”

 

Kikyo got the implied meaning and took off running for the door. Something picked her back, and she stumbled to a stop and looked at her chest. The end of a sword smeared with her own blood stared back at her. She fell silently to the ground. Mind racing, She watching her life disappear before her eyes.

 

Naraku walked over to the fallen girl. “Tisk Tisk” He leaned down to her ear as she took her last breaths “I killed you family and enjoyed every one of their screams.”

 

He world came to a crashing halt “Inuyasha” the word left her lips as her breathing slowed, her eyes closed and a single tear traced her cheek. It fell from her cheek but never hit the ground. Instead it hovered in front of Naraku.

 

“What this” he smiled while reaching for the glowing tear. The small tear gave off a blinding light and disappeared from his sight.

 

He looked down at Kikyo's body “Your not the only one with tricks Kikyo” he waved his hand and darkness encircled the room leaving a clear trail of pure untainted light left from the tears escape. “Stupid women” he laughed “I have the power of the dark lord.” He left following the light.

 

This is where the Legend ends and, The future begins.

OK Ladies and Gents. This is the end of chapter one. I hope you liked it. I know it was kind of cheesy and slow but it'll get better. I liked writing this. OK now thing that you need to know….Number 1…Inuyasha isn't a half-demon anymore I'm sorry but it doesn't work with the story. Number 2… If your M & S or Sess & Rin Lovers I can't help you. This is mainly a IY&KAG fic. Got it?! So I don't want any crap. About other couples. And on a better note KIKYO'S already dead. YES!!! Thank god. I don't hate her but she is starting to bug me a little. But I don't do Kikyo bashing. It's just not right. Unless you're all alone and ranting like a crazy person while watching it. OK and just so you all know I'm up-dating three times a week or when I feel like it. Ok till Next time. When ever that might be.
