Okay, just so people get this... The third movie is not canon or have anything to do with the manga! I write my stories according to the manga. I know in the third movie that Inupapa died, but that is just an idea like this story. No one really knows Inuyasha's child hood except Rumiko Takahashi. Heck, she might mot even know because she never came up with the idea.

It is just an idea.I plan to keep the events and dates in history as realistic as I can. Alot of these people will be real, like the Minamoto clan is real as well as many of the members. So I do not own history.
I am writing this now, Kagome, because my life is reaching its end. I can feel it. I can barely stand for five minutes let alone walk. All I can do is sit in this damn bad and listen to the monitor beep to my heart beat like a timer to my death. So I'm I going to write you my life. I know my hand will cramp up, but I will keep writing till the last page is done for you…
I was born in the late fall in the year of 1054 in the Heian era. My mother was a hime of the Minamoto family. My mother had a twin brother, Minamoto no Yoshiie, who was a leader of the clan along with my grandfather, Minamoto no Yoriyoshi, and Chinjufu Shogun of the north when I was born. He was a great warrior and proved that many time in many battles.
I am not really sure how my parents met. My father was the Inu no Taisho at the time. A lot of the west was demon territory and the youkai community was a lot like its own empire along side with the humans. The Heian era was peaceful. It was late at night when I took my first breaths into the world, my father was not present but all I know was there was a lot of trouble. If it weren't for my uncle Yoshiie and Yoshimitsu, my mother and I would have been killed that night by my grandfather.
My father returned came to the north in winter and gave me my name, Inuyasha. My full name was Minamoto no Inuyasha but I dropped the fancy title when I got older—
“Hello, Moriyama-san, how are you doing today?” Asked the kind and gentle voice of my nurse. I took a deep breath of her scent, she was wearing vanilla today. I loved it when she wore vanilla.
“I fine, Kagome. Now that you are here, my whole day just brightened up.” My raspy voice croaked to her. She checked my clip board and looked at the screen of my monitor and clicked her tongue.
“I heard you threw your food at the nurse before me this morning. Why are you so mean to the other nurses?” She said with her hands on her hips in mock anger.
“You know I am just teasing them, plus, none of them are as great as you are.” I laughed. Kagome chuckled, this was our usual routine; I would flirt with her and she would nag at me. But it was moments like these that made my days seem brighter. I only got her three or four times a week and if she did overtime, more than that.
“What do you have there?” She asked pointing to my book. I close it.
“Just a book I'm working on.” I told her with a toothless smile, “You can read it when I finish.”
“I'd love that.” She smiled at me with her beautiful smile. I still loved her so much, but she can't know who I am, not yet.

Heian era- A time of peace and prosperity for early Japan when it was still under the Emperors rule. Japan was beginning to stop copying of china and make their own culture.
