They only had to shoot a few infected but surprisingly there weren’t many down here as they thought. InuYasha let them know how close the scent was now and then till he stopped. The concrete stairs were still holding strong even after three years of nothing and the water would have weakened it over the years. Because it was dark they had to use torches on their guns which was kinda dangerous seeing as how some infected could jump out of nowhere as they were looking forward. They arrived down at the station which was quite large. It was like the Underground Liverpool street in London, two tracks and abandoned stores on both sides and posters on the walls that some have fallen off.

Suddenly there was a distant laughter and a huge shape emerged from the shadows. Upon closer look and aura it was indeed a youkai. Taka, Cho and Haru had to fight not to scream. The creature took another deep laugh before he spoke.

“So....the great Kagome Higurashi finally comes to see me in my home. I apologize for the mess”.

Kagome groaned at the amount of saliva dripping out of the corners of his mouth.

“Who are you?”

The creature feigned a hurt face.

“Well you wouldn’t recognize me in this form. I was always behind Dr Krippn back in the days....I was known as Pete to everyone”

“No! You can’t be Dr Pete! He was a human, the right hand of Dr. Krippn. I would have known if he was a youkai-“

“Ah but there are many ways a youkai can hide an aura they never could do back in Sengoku Japan”

“Kagome! He’s a plague Rat!” InuYasha yelled.

‘Pete’ took another laugh before he let out a breath that stunk the whole room, Sure enough Kagome could recognize the shape of a rat and could barely his tail behind his fat torso.

“Indeed I was Dr Pete, a close working partner to Dr Krippn. Her cure indeed cured cancer and HIV and it would have made a turn of the century. Actually it kinda already has”. He giggled before he continued.
“But she didn’t know that I was a youkai in human guise with plans of my own. I’m not a youkai mind you. In the west I would be known as a demon born for the pits of hell itself. And that is what I am. A reckless human back in the reign of Henry VII in the countryside of Britain sought to control me. How wrong he was. Over the years I wrecked havoc on humanity. I influenced all the fleas the black rats carried to create the Black Death, I created the small pox and plagues that wiped out small villages but humanity kept bouncing back. So thousands of years later I became Dr Pete”.

Kagome looked at the demon in shock. Did he..?

“Once the miracle cure for cancer was finished I spilled my own blood into it. So it would cure it was supposed to, with dire side effects. And it did what I wanted it to do. Kill the weak and the rest will be my undying slaves to take the world and I have now Humanity is nothing more than a bug I can crush. Surprised?”
