Sesshoumaru was surprised to see his little brother so outraged. Inuyasha charged at Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru took out his sword and Inuyasha took out his. They both ran at each other clashing swords.

 

“What is this Miko to you Inuyasha?” Sesshoumaru asked as their swords were against each other with no advantage on either side.

“Her name is Kagome! And she is just a friend!”

 

The two were almost tangoing with swords no one having the upper hand until Sesshoumaru swung his sword with such momentum it knocked Inuyashas' sword out of his hands. As Inuyasha tried to pick up the sword Sesshoumaru blade hit Inuyasha in the side of his stomach. Inuyasha turned around now having his sword in hand and tried to fight Sesshoumaru, but Sesshoumaru glanced at the Miko and went over to her picked her up and swiftly went away.

Kagome woke up and looked around and saw a room with dark wallpaper and dark closed curtains she tried to sit up, but felt a shock of pain run through her chest and lied back down. Kagome couldn't recall what had happened to her all she remembered was seeing the face of the demon who had killed her grandfather. Kagome was scared she didn't know where she was and where anybody was.

 

“Was I kidnapped?” Kagome thought as she then realized the bandage that ran around her chest and left shoulder.

“Was I raped?! I'm not wearing pants Oh my god!” Kagome gathered the blanket and tightly wrapped it around herself. She heard the door knob turn and in stepped the silver haired demon with long tail thrown over his shoulder.

“Why have you taken me here! You fucking piece of shit!” Kagome yelled.

“Calm down I couldn't just leave you dead.”

“Leave me dead! Like how you killed my grandfather! And why the hell would you care if I died you're the one who did this to me!” Kagome said slowly remembering what happened to her.

“Hurting your grandfather was a mistake as well as hurting you.”

“A mistake! How is stabbing someone a mistake!” Kagome screamed, but then the shock of pain was sent through her stomach again.

“Well details aren't essential right now, but it was a case of one mistaken identity and two you were trying to kill me so naturally I reacted on pear instinct.”

“I don't believe you!”

“Take it easy if you keep yelling like that the wound won't heal properly.”

The demon took out a wash cloth from the bathroom that was connected to the room and began to go over her wound with it.

The water felt good on her skin, but stung when it came in contact with her wound.

Though Kagome still felt deep anger towards him something about him made her feel like there was more to him than meets the eye.

 

“Jaken will come with your food.” Sesshoumaru said as he got up and began to head towards the door.

“So is it possible for the demon who killed my grandpa to tell me his name?” Kagome said looking directly at him.

“It's Sesshoumaru.” Sesshoumaru walked out the door and closed it behind him.

“I need to get out of here! But how!” Kagome looked around frantically for any possible way to escape. Kagome gently got out of the bed, but the pain again shot through her which forced her to lay back down.

“Fuck there is no way to escape with this wound!” Kagome thought pulling the covers back over her.

“What's going to happen to me?”

Inuyasha helped Sango up and Threw Kohaku over his shoulder.

Sango had limited mobility in her right leg. Not only because of being pummeled

by a chair, but because of her previous wound.

 

“Oh Kohaku!” Sango ruffled her brothers' hair as he was over Inuyashas' shoulder and tears fell from her eyes.

“He will be fine.” Inuyasha said.

“Who were they?”

“The one who attacked your brother is a kind of friend of mine and the other one is my brother…”

“Your friend! Your brother! What the hell Inuyasha!”

“Look I barely know what's going on either! Naraku has just been acting strange I hardly even like the guy he is going out with my ex! You know I don't have to prove anything to you!”

“Your brother took KAGOME!” Sango yelled smacking him on top of the head.

The car ride home was filled with silence.

When they entered the house Sango began bandaging her brother and Inuyasha sat on an arm chair with his head in his hands.

 

“San…Sango.” Kohaku said slightly opening his eyes.

“Rest Kohaku.” Sango said putting a blanket over him.

Inuyasha abruptly stood up.

“What are you doing Inuyasha?” Sango asked.

“I'm going after Kagome.”

“Then I am going with you.”

“You stay here with your brother this is between me and them.” Inuyasha left the house.

“Here is your meal miss.” A little green demon said giving Kagome a tray Kagome figured that this was Jaken.

 

“Thank you.”

“You know it's not often that we have female visitors.” Jaken said turning away.

 

Kagome looked at the food it was a sandwich and ramen noodles. She didn't trust it and put it on the other side of the bed. She began to close her eyes and go to sleep which was the only thing she really could do there was nothing to do in her room no TV, no books, or card games. She woke up to Sesshoumaru looking at her from a chair. It not only made her jump, but even Sesshoumaru got a little jolt.

 

“What are you doing?” Kagome asked with a hint of fear in her voice.

“Uh well I was…your breathing was irregular and I wanted to make sure you were ok.” Sesshoumaru rambled.

“Oh…”

“I will leave now.” Sesshoumaru got up off of the chair and headed for the door.

“No…stay with me…”Kagome didn't even realize what she had said Sesshoumaru was even more shocked.

“Stay? With…with you?” Sesshoumaru quietly asked expecting he heard wrong.

“Please.”

Sesshoumaru sat back down on the chair.

“You should really eat your dinner.” Sesshoumaru said looking at the meal next to her on the bed.

“Why do you care so much? I mean why didn't you leave me dead I was trying to kill you I know that you sense the Miko blood that runs through my veins.”

“I don't really know my self. I just didn't like the thought of you dieing I guess.” Sesshoumaru looked away he had never felt this way towards anyone especially not towards a Miko let alone any girl demon or human.

“Who was that other demon?”

“That was a competitor of mine. It's a long story.”

“Well you brought me into this so tell me the story.”

“A long time ago Inuyashas' now ex-girlfriend, Kikyo and I had an agreement I would let her and her little play thing a.k.a Naraku have their hands in the underground world where the demons are in control. However in so doing this Kikyo would stop black mailing me and she would bind her Miko powers. Well soon after this agreement she left Inuyasha and started going out with Naraku. She terminated the agreement when she began to kill off some of my associates and went above the agreement when they began to try and take my position. But Kikyo has a debt to pay for all the services I gave her. In a way I made her into what she is in the Underground. The reason I attacked you and your grandfather was because you look like her and I mistook you for she. That is the short version.”

“Oh I see. Does Inuyasha know any of this?”

“No. He doesn't even know that Naraku was messing around with Kikyo even before they broke up.”

“Sesshoumaru can I ask you something?”

“Yes go ahead Kagome.”

“Jaken said that you don't have many female visitors do you not have girlfriends? I'm sorry if I am getting to personal it isn't any of my business…how'd you know my name?”

“I just never found the need in having one I suppose. As for your name I heard Inuyasha mention it earlier.”

“Oh…I see.”

“Can I ask you something now?” Sesshoumaru looked at her in the eyes. Even for a human she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen her raven hair brushed to the side of her face and her piercing amber eyes.

“Oh my god am I really falling for Sesshoumaru! He killed Grandpa and abducted you! Yet there is something about him…” Kagome thought as she listened to what Sesshoumaru had to ask.

“Are you and my hanyou half brother going out?”

“No…why?”

“Well I was just curious.” Sesshoumaru said.

“Sesshoumaru…why are you sitting so far away…sit by me.”

 

Sesshoumaru moved the tray of food onto the ground and lied next to Kagome. He found that he was happier laying next to her. He then felt a warm sensation on his chest and looked down to see Kagome resting her head on him and looking up at him. He didn't even know what he was doing when he bent down and kissed her on her forehead.

Kagome reacted by putting her arms around his neck and pressing her lips against his.

The kiss was long and lingering. He loved the softness of Kagomes' lips and the way she used her tongue.

“Don't worry Kagome I'm coming for you I won't let that bastard hurt you!”

I know that this is probably the shortest chapter so far, but oh well I promise that the next one will be longer. I really hope you enjoyed this chapter personally I think this is one of the best chapters so far, probably because of the way I ended this chapter. ANYWHODOODLES R&R! =))
