*Chapter 3*
Everyone was waiting for the Lordship to begin. After Kika talked to Kouga she went to Lord Intuis to ask him about her announcement.
"Lord Intuis after you Lord Sesshomaru will you let me speak?" she asked.
"Of course, Kika. What is this all about if I may ask?" he said.
"I am going to announce me and Kouga as mates." she said blushing.
"Oh yes, I have heard of you two sneaking around." he said with a smirk.
"How did you know about us? Please tell me you didn't tell my tousan?" she asked.
"Don't worry Kika, he and Kouga's tousan know nothing, and Kagome was the one who told me." he said softly.
"So, you approve of Kouga and I than?" she asked.
Lord Intuis shook his head and said "Yes I do, but I believe that Kouga should announce that you two are becoming mates because that is the youkai way."
"Kouga is kind of afraid of Lord Yashui." she said.
Intuis let out a slight giggle and said "I know how Yashui can get, but I am sure he would understand why you two kept it a secret, if he does not than me and Kiushi will explain."
"That will be great if you help us. I am tired of lying to my tousan each time I see Kouga." she said smiling and hugging Lord Intuis.
"I am glad I can be of help to you and Kouga. I know how it feels to be in love." he said hugging her back.
Kika left to go tell Kouga the good news and that left Intuis to himself to figure out how he was going to help the two love birds out. 'Yashui and Nemsis are nothing like me and Kiushi, they want them to mate right off and not know each other and them two went against that. I hope they take it well.' he thought to himself.
Kagome was dancing with Sesshomaru. She glared into his eyes as he twirled her around the ballroom floor. 'What made him so caring? He was never like this before always keeping things to himself.' she thought. Sesshomaru was looking at her with caring eyes. 'I wish she knew how she makes me feel. I never felt this way until I met her.' he said to himself. It seemed like they danced for hours when really they only danced for 5 minutes. They were so lost in each other thoughts they didn't look where they were danced right onto Kouga and a Tora-ken youkai. They seemed to be dancing really close until Kagome and Sesshomaru danced into them. Everyone fell to the floor. Kagome, Sesshomaru, and Kouga were laughing, but the Tora-ken youkai didn't see anything funny about falling and ruining her kimono.
"How dare you ruin my beautiful kimono!" the Tora-ken youkai screamed at Kagome and Sesshomaru.
"They didn't mean anything by it Ayame, it was an accident, right Kagome?" Kouga said.
"We are sorry if we ruined your kimono I will gladly buy you a new one, if you like? Kagome said walking towards Ayame to help her with her kimono.
"I don't want anything from you!" Ayame screamed walking towards her tousan holding her tore kimono. 'She did that on purpose just to get me away from Kouga. She will pay for messing up my plans with Kouga and my new kimono.' Ayame said to herself with a evil smirk.
"How did you end up with her, Kouga?" Kagome asked.
"Well, she just ran towards me and drugged me to the floor." Kouga said embarrassed.
"She was acting like you two had a thing going on, is that true? Sesshomaru questioned.
"NO!! There is nothing going on between me and Ayame. I love Kika and you two know that. She has been after me for sometime now, but after tonight she should leave me alone." Kouga said.
"Kika would be really hurt if there was someone else." Kagome said.
"What do you mean after tonight?" Sesshomaru questioned again.
"Me and Kika are to become mates. We are going to announce it after your Lordship." Kouga said with a smile.
"That is great!" Kagome screamed and everyone looked at her.
"Not so loud Kagome, Our tousans doesn't know about us, and I don't want them finding out until after the lordship, ok?" Kouga said covering Kagomes mouth.
Pushing Kouga's hand away she said "Well, mine and Sesshomaru tousan already know, and they are happy that you two finally decided to become mates. It took you two long enough."
"How did they find out?" Kouga asked.
"I told my tousan about it after you and Kika were together about a year and a half. I had to tell him because I needed someone to talk to about how I felt about seeing you and Kika together and how I could get me and Sesshomaru like that." Kagome said a little embarrassed.
"I didn't really tell my tousan. He found out by Lord Kiushi. They are really good friends and decided to talk about how they would handle yours and Kika's tousans." Sesshomaru answered.
"What do you mean how to get me and you to be like that?" Sesshomaru asked looking at Kagome.
"I always liked you and was hoping you felt the same, but you always held your feeling from me so I always talked to my tousan and once I talked to Lord Intuis and he said that I should give you time and that you should come around." Kagome said with a slit giggle.
"Oh! Did he I should talk to my tousan later about that." Sesshomaru said with a smirk.
They all decided that it was best to talk to Lord Intuis and Lord Kiushi about it before the Lordship. When they finally got the lords alone they began discussing how they would announce Kouga and Kikas mating ceremony. Kouga was so....scared that he mostly listened. Lord Yashui was a very harsh man. He wanted to choose who his son should and should not mate. Yashui has even tried forcing him and Kagome to mate, but Kouga knew that Kagome had a soft spot for Sesshomaru. Lord Yashui thought whoever Kouga married should be of royal blood, but to his liking and it seemed that Kika was not. Lord Yashui and Lord Nemsis were always fighting over something, never over the lands, but the war. They had their own ways to fight, but Lord Yashui thought everyone should fight like him. Lord Nemsis didn't like that. They have been like this since Kagome, and Kika were born. Lord Nemsis thinks of Kouga like his own son, but Lord Yashui really doesn't like Kika. One reason why Kouga is scared. He knows his tousan really doesn't like Kika.
'I know he is going to kill me when he finds out that me and Kika having been seeing each other for three years and behind his back, no doubt." Kouga thought covering his face.
"Everything will be alright, Kouga. I promise me and Sesshomaru will be with you and Kika through the whole thing and I know that my tousan and Lord Intuis will watch Lord Yashui and Lord Nemsis." Kagome said giving Kouga a big hug.
