About three months went by since Kagome and Inu Yasha had officially declared them selves an item. Now the rumor was Inu Yasha was going to ask Kagome to marry him. Everyone hopped he’d do it soon before Kagome had a nervous break down waiting for him. Finally Inu Yasha appeared and took Kagome into a room in the hut.
“Kagome Higurashi, would you accept my asking of you to be my mate for life?”
Kagome’s eyes filled with tears and she said very softly, only loud enough for him to hear
“Hai, I will!!!!”
Inu Yasha kissed her and led her to the main room where everyone was waiting.
“Kagome has accepted to be my mate, AND I have agreed to have one of those wedding things.”
Everyone jumped and cheered.
“Yay, now I have a mommy AND daddy!”
Everyone laughed at Shippo’s comment.
