Inu-yasha stood outside the little worn down hut waiting for Kagome. The waiting was harder than he thought. Miroku stood against the hut's door watching the traumatized hanyou. He watched as Inu-yasha paced back and forth. Inu-yasha was practically wearing a hole in the ground.

 

Miroku's POV

Inu-yasha thought I couldn't see his tears but I had already seen them. The tears were like a dam, they built up, but Inu-yasha wouldn't let them flow.

 

Inuyasha's POV

I really hope Kagome's all right. I'm so worried. It feels horrible every time I hear Kagome scream. Oh, poor Kagome.

 

Normal

Right at that moment Kagome let out an ear splitting scream. Inu-yasha fell to his knees. This time he let all his tears flow freely. Miroku walked over to Inuyasha's hunched over body, knelt on the grass next to Inu-yasha and prayed for Kagome.

“I can't take this anymore!” Inu-yasha screamed as he dashed into the forest named after him.

 

Miroku got off his knees, went up to the door of the hut and gently knocked.

“You may come in now.” Kaede said.

Miroku walked into the hut. He walked over to Kaede.

“How is Kagome feeling?” Miroku asked her.

“She is doing very well!” Kaede said. “But where is Inu-yasha?” She asked puzzled.

“Lady Kaede, I need to know if his child is doing well!” Miroku said concerned.

“Oh yes they are doing quite well.” Kaede answered.

“Well that's good.” Miroku said relieved. ”Wait a minute…THEY!?!?!?!” Miroku said doing a double take.

“Yes they.” Kaede said politely.

“This good news, good news indeed!” Miroku said getting excited.

“I must find Inu-yasha and tell him the good news!” Miroku said while dashing out of the hut.
