Hey, I'm Back. I know who cares, right? If you think that Kagome and Sesshomaru moved to quickly, you are completely right. Just bare with me. There is a method to my madness, really. It will become clear in this chapter. I have reread the last chapter and I may revise it if I'm in the mood. Just to recap on the last chapter. Fluffy and Kagome are growing fond of each other. Inuyasha is ticked off at the goddess. * Hehehehe * Women want Sesshomaru and men want Kagome. That sums it up.

I don't own Inuyasha. Though he and his brother have volunteered to stay until the story is finished. * Growls and banging from closet door. * Shut-up you two. Um, Well on with the fic. *Footsteps running away as the door breaks down *

Kagome woke up with a serious headache. She looked around and saw that she was in her room. She realized that her head was on Sesshomaru. She then remembered last night. She looked at him and herself. They were both clothed and then she sniffed the air. Their scents were mixed but she could tell that what she remembered could not be completely true. While she was thinking Sesshomaru awoke and said, "How are you? When you got up and had the dizzy spell you fainted. I caught you before you hit the floor." "Thanks, but why did you stay." "After you fell unconscious I didn't think you should be alone so I stayed." He then got up and casually went to get breakfast. As he left he said, "Oh, I must say that for an novice you were very impressive in that fight, and thank-you for keeping those women at bay during the dinner." He barely whispered the statement and quickly left afterwards. Kagome just stood there surprised that the stoic demon lord paid her a compliment and thanked her. She was bathed and dressed quickly and rushed to the hall to eat. She slowed down before she was there so she entered gracefully.

As she looked around she saw the bitch that attacked her pups. She was pleased see that the fight had left her quite sore and agitated. She chuckled to herself and joined Sesshomaru, the other lords, and their families/heirs. The lords seemed as pleased as Sesshomaru at the scene last night. Other than the younger lords making a move on her which got a glare from Sesshomaru, who proceeded to tell them that Kagome was not 100%, the breakfast was actually boring. Kagome slipped away to entertain her and the children while the lords discussed business. She watched as Shippou and Rin played in the garden as she walked around.

Sesshomaru's POV

Why do these gatherings have to be boring? I wonder if I quietly went away if they would notice. "Yes that is a good idea." "Well that concludes this meeting. Oh Sesshomaru, I need a moment with you please" "What would you like to discuss Lord Akahito?" He said this while trying to feign impatience with the Lion demon that he had always respected. "I would like to ask if you were considering my offer last night. I really think that Kagome would like my son." "Again I am not her guardian, mate, or relative thus I can not choose who her mate will be. I will also not help any suitors or advise her in any way. If a male wishes to court her he will have to ask her. Goodbye" I left the meeting room. I had to repeat the same conversation several times on the topic of Kagome's mating status while on my walk. Each time I got more irate. Then the most annoying person I knew arrived.

How are you doing moron? Why are you here? All you seem to do is make snide remarks, why don't you come out and get to the point? Would you if you were having this much fun torturing someone? Hmm…That is what I thought. Now what are you going to do about Kagome? Why are you talking about her? Look I'm your sub-conscience. I know more about you than you do. I know every thought you have ever had. So I think you should do something. What do you want me to do? Would it hurt to admit that she is attractive? Fine. Yes she is attractive. Thank you. I was wondering when you would grow-up. Oh, shut up. Go Away! Temper, Temper. What about her scent? What about it? You like it, right? Well, I don't mind it like I usually do with humans. Wow, aren't you mature. I have admitted what you wanted to know. Now leave. Okay. I'll leave, for now. Thank you. After I finished debating with myself, I went to gather my, Kagome's, and the children's things to prepare to leave

Kag POV

Lady Natasha of the Southern Lands wondered into the garden were Kagome and the children were. I immediately was on guard when the fox demon entered. Natasha sensed this and said, "I mean no harm to your pups. I just come to see who the lady was that caused all the turmoil." This relaxed me a little, but not much. I said, "I have become wary around females sense last night." "I would not worry. Those other women are petty and jealous that you have Sesshomaru's attention." "I figured that, but I still don't understand why. I am not his mate or potential mate, so why try to hurt me or the children." "Many people are stupid. I also know that Sesshomaru cares for you very much. I am one of the few who know this. I only know because I was raised with him, and I can read his allegedly emotionless face. You on the other hand take little skill to read. You are attracted to his also. Care to talk about it?" Her nonchalant attitude, bluntness, friendliness, and what she said took me aback. After regaining my composure I said, "Thanks for the offer. If you would sit down I would enjoy talking with you." I had intended to not approach the topics mentioned by Lady Natasha, because I did not want the answers but she was smart and got to the point. "How did you meet and how did you come to live with him?" I told the story from first meeting to other fights to waking in his castle. I didn't even leave out the Kikyou and Inuyasha discovery, or the dream I had last night. Though I did leave out many details of the dream for obvious reasons. "So you have feelings for him. That has been made quite clear. The real topic for discussion is what are you going to do." "Um…" "You'll now what to do, when, and where." I blushed as she winked at me then I sensed him coming, and I called for the children.

Norm POV

Shippou and Rin came when she called for them. Lady Natasha was shocked to learn Shippou's name. She almost instantaneously started asking who his parents were. When he told her their names she started to cry while she crushed the bewildered fox child in a hug. "May I ask why are you hugging me Lady Natasha" "Yes I would like to know also." Sesshomaru had walked in on the scene. Natasha collected herself, released Shippou, and said, "I'm sorry, but I was so glad to see a relative I didn't explain myself." "What do you mean relative?"

(I could stop here, but I not that evil)

"I mean, Lady Kagome, that Shippou's father is my older brother. When he died I tried to find his son but he had disappeared. I assumed that the Thunder Bros. had kid-napped and killed him." "What does this mean?" "Well it means that once Shippou is of age he will become the Lord of the Southern Lands" All of them said, "What!" "Yes, what I said is true. I inherited the lands from my father, but only because my brother and nephew were gone." "Does that mean I will have to leave mama?" "No, little one. I could not even ask that. Besides I have a feeling that one female dog-demon would be very unhappy." "So what does this mean Lady Natasha?" "Since Shippou will take over the lands he will need to be taught how to be a demon lord. Yes? I can't because his adopted mother is here and I won't separate them. So, the only choice is that Sesshomaru will teach and guide him to take over while I take care of the southern lands till he is of age." The look on Sesshomaru's normally stoic face was priceless. It was a mix of shock and dread. He said, "Are you sure it would be best if I taught him?" "Yes. Unless you would like to convince the mother of the pup to give him up." Kagome's anger and stubbornness when Sesshomaru glanced over radiated from her and was amplified by a low growl from her. He said, "I think that your idea may be the best idea after all." When he looked over to his relief Kagome was not angry and was hugging Shippou and Rin. He had gotten sidetracked with the conversation and had forgotten that he was planning on leaving. When he realized this he said, "We should be going." "Oh, yeah. Thanks Natasha. I hope you come visit me soon." She carried the children while Sesshomaru carried the stuff and flew to the Western Lands.

Well, what do you think? I decided to give Shippou a family because I was tired of him being an orphan. If you don't like it I'm sorry. Just so you know I Love reviews. How am I supposed to know if what I write is good if you the readers don't review or email? I don't mind flames. You guys hate me don't you! * Cries loudly and bangs head against computer. * I hope you liked the character Natasha. She is supposed to be me. I'll try to get the next chapter up as soon as possible.
