Natasha asked Kiya about her family. Kiya told her the very short version. "Are you sure that both your parents were inuyoukai? You have ears which would indicate that you have some human blood." "I know neither of my parents were half-demons but…."

" But… Inuyasha! What are you doing here?" Natasha and Kagome turn to see a terrified and extremely pissed Inuyasha. "Kagome! Save me!" "Why? What is Wrong?" "Th-th- they want me to go to the gathering!" *everybody anime falls* "Yes I will help you, but *insert evil glint in eye* you have to trust me." "Okay!" "Let the baka suffer!" "Fine but you might want to know that Sesshomaru is alone with you mate." "What! Shit! Got to go! Kagome will it hurt our friendship if I kill your mate?" "Depends." With that Natasha starts running towards the two men. Kiya was just watching this with a smirk that would have put Sesshomaru's to shame. She knew what Kagome was planning because she had seen the evil glint in her eyes.

With Sess before Inuyasha runs to Kagome

Sesshomaru never disliked his brother. He just hated the fact that he was expected by his father to take care of him. He also hated the fact that Inuyasha did not have to have all the responsibility that he had. That is why he attacked him so often. Inuyasha needed to be strong, and he needed some entertainment. Now though, they both had grown up he felt that Inuyasha should take on some of the responsibility. (Evil Sessy!) "The gathering I will be hosting because I have recently mated will be a fine tiem to properly introduce you. That means you will have to learn manners and wear the proper attire. I would also recommend a taking a female guest" "WHAT! NO WAY IN HELL! Do you remember that I went to on when I was ten? I hated it! I'm not going to follow your orders! I'm not going! Besides, When did I agree to stay?" "I do remember your first gathering, and please try to behave this time. Oh, you could leave, but I won't let you because my father wanted the sword to be used to protect the lands. I mean if you wanted you could give me the sword and leave, but… Furthermore, you won't leave because your friend is here." "Bastard!" "I believe you've already said that." Inuyasha storms out, but as you know he gets scared at the idea of going to the gathering.

"So, Hiro, I apologize for my baka of a brother's behavior. Thinking about the gathering brings back a lot of memories. One in particular…" *low growling* "Natasha! What a pleasant surprise! I was just talking about you." "I know. I think it would be best if you kept your memories to yourself and I might consider doing the some with your mate." "Love, what would he tell me that you wouldn't want me to know?" Now imagine that Shippou with his cutest face was asking for something, but add a more adult charm with dimples. This is Hiro. "Dear, you know that face does not work, besides you wouldn't find it interesting." Though Natasha didn't tell him it was quite obvious that it was hard. She just glared at Sesshomaru and walked out to Kagome and Kiya.

A while later

"Kagome! I told you that I wouldn't go to the gathering." "Sir, would you please stand still I need to fit you for your outfit." "Ha, Ha, Inuyasha is acting like a baby!" "Yes, Inuyasha, behave. I told you that I would help, but I never said how! I will make sure that you are comfortable, but I will not get you out of going. You so owe me. You also have a responsibility as second lord. Enjoy!" Kagome then with her kit left an angry Inuyasha getting fitted for his formal outfit. Shippou wandered off to find Rin while Kagome found Sesshomaru in the study, which was filled with books. She leaned against the doorway while Sesshomaru was looking over paperwork. He glanced up to talk. "So, how is my brother doing?" "He is being a pain just like we all knew he would. Fortunately, he will be obedient and go." "Has he decided on a guest?" "No I think his is too pissed." "If he doesn't decide soon he will regret it."

A week later, everyone was gathered in the living room area talking about plans for the upcoming party. Kagome was sitting next to Sessy while Natasha was close to her mate now especially in another chair. Kiya was lounging on the floor. She never would get use to comforts. Inuyasha was standing and of course ranting. They were trying to decide who would be Inuyasha's date, much to the hanyou's annoyance.

"I'm not going! Why are you ignoring me?"

They pretended that they didn't hear him, and then finally decided that he would make his own choice or live with the consequences. (AKA. Sluts trying to get men)

A servant soon came into the room, then leaned over Sesshoumaru, whispering. The Taiyoukai smiled, then motioned to Kagome, calling her name over his brother's irritating growls.

"Oh, Kagome I have a surprise for you," *Inuyasha Ranting* "Really! What is it?" "That would be your cue." With that the door to what we would consider a living room and in came Miroku and Sango. "Hey! Sango, I've missed you! Thank you sessy!" The women jumped for joy while forgetting a controlled demeanor. When they had all sat down, Miroku looked at the two lords and two female demons. He thought a few seconds then a look of astonishment came across his face. "What is wrong monk?" "Uh, I just realized something I forgot." "What would that be Miroku?" "Um…Well…I remember that I read" *Monk, don't tell them yet. They will find out when I feel like it, and not a moment sooner*

How is it? What is it that they will find out? I have a great idea for the next chapter, but I have to work out the bugs. It will be out soon probably by next Sunday.
