Chapter 3

 

Inu Yasha awoke the next morning just before dawn to find Kagome's lips pressed against his.

 

"Good morning" she whispered.

 

"Good morning" he said back with a kiss.

 

 

They got dressed and headed back to the village, sure that no one would be up yet and that they would be able to sneak into the hut unnoticed.

 

They entered the hut and settled against each other in the corner and slept for the few hours before morning.

 

 

When they awoke, they found the hut empty and the sun bright in the sky. Kagome glanced down at her watch to find it was just after 10 am. She got up and stretched, moving over to her pack for her hairbrush.

 

They left the hut to find the whole gang just outside. Kagome was hit in the stomach by a small ball of fur.

"Kagome! Where were you!" Shippou stopped mid-sentence and sniffed her. Then he got a truly evil grin on his face.

"Kagome, your scent is different. You smell like..." He paused for a moment then shouted with a grin "You're mated to Inu Yasha!"

 

Damn you Shippou Kagome thought why do you have such a good sense of smell. She blushed furiously and stared at the ground. Inu Yasha came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders knocking the kitsune to the ground

 

"Hey! That wasn't nice Inu Yasha!" shouted the kitsune

 

Inu Yasha stuck out his tongue. "Ya, so what" he grinned.

 

"Not that kind of women eh, Inu Yasha" crooned Miroku.

 

Ignoring that, Inu Yasha said more seriously "Miroku, can I talk to you about something?"

 

Miroku nodded, attitude reverting to seriousness and followed him to the God Tree.

 

Kagome sat down on the bench against the hut, face in her hands. She felt someone sit down next to her and looked up to find Sango.

 

"He didn't force you into it did he?" Sango asked quietly.

 

Kagome blushed "No of coarse not! We were just sitting talking when we just...sorta fell for each other"

 

Eager to change the subject, Kagome asked "So when are you going to ask Inu Yasha about my idea?"

 

Sango looked to he sky, one finger on her chin "I was planning on doing it when you guys woke up. "I'll have to wait till they get back."

Kagome knew what they were talking about, or did she? Was Miroku asking for every juicy detail about what they did last night? Was Inu Yasha actually telling him?

She blushed even harder at the thought.

 

Sango tried not to laugh at the look on Kagome's face. "Was it that good?" she asked.

 

Kagome had had just about enough of this. "Okay! Enough talk about sex!" She froze in humiliation as she realized she just shouted that across the village. Several nearby villagers stopped and stared at her.

Before she knew it, Sango was pulling her by the arm into Kaede's hut. "Thanks Sango" she blushed when they were hidden safely inside.

 

*Meanwhile at the goshinboku*

 

"So" said Miroku casually from below InuYasha.

 

"So what?" InuYasha asked quizzically.

 

"How was it?" Before he knew it, InuYasha's fist had made firm contact with the top of his head.

 

"Pervert" InuYasha grumbled to himself. "So when are you going to ask Kagome for me?"

 

Miroku sat rubbing the goose egg lump on his head. "I was planning to when we got back."

 

"Good" was all he said as he jumped back into the tree. "I'll be waiting here then"

 

Miroku heaved a sigh as he stood, swaying slightly from the slight concussion of his pummeling, and walked back towards the village.

 

InuYasha watched him go from the corner of his eye. Damn it he thought this is taking way to long! Then his thoughts turned back to the previous night's events. Eye's closed, memories still fresh in his mind. A little more of him got excited than he would have wanted.;P

 

Miroku entered the village to find Shippou entertaining the village children with his fox magic under a tree. He wove his way back to Kaede's hut in search of Kagome.

 

When he finally made his way to the hut (it took a bit longer considering all the pretty young lady's *ahem*) he found Kagome and Sango laughing their heads off, he presumed it was something about him or Inu Yasha naturally. He gave a small cough to make his presence known. At which the girls tried to settle themselves to the best of their ability.

 

"Yes Miroku?" Sango asked shooting a smirk at Kagome.

 

"Lady Kagome, may I have a moment?" he asked as seriously as possible, trying to ignore their foolishness.

 

She knew what this was about, and it was about time. "Of course Miroku" she cooed as she turned serious and stood.

"Back in a sec Sango" she yelled as she followed Miroku out the door. The village had returned to normal after her sudden outburst a while ago.

 

They walked to the opposite side of the village from the well. She noticed they were walking towards the hot spring and couldn't resist blurting out what popped into her head. "You aren't gunna ask me to bathe with you are you Miroku" she said with a smirk trying to break the silence.

 

"Sadly, not today" he answered with a sigh.

 

Then they turned off to the right to a small clearing well away from the village.

Kagome sat on a stump looking up at him standing in front of her trying to look as questioningly as possible. He stood silent for a moment, eye's closed and brow furrowed in thought.

Her mind lost its focus and concentrated on last night, feeling the bridge of her nose burn red. Miroku's voice brought her out of her reverie.

 

"Kagome, I need to ask you something very important. I need you to answer truthfully." He looked down at her. "Do you understand?"

 

She nodded in response.

 

He sighed as he sat down looking her straight in the eye. "I have been pondering this for a while now and thought it better to ask you first, knowing Inu Yasha can't keep secrets very well"

 

Kagome tried not to grin, Miroku was acting this very well. Inu Yasha had followed through with their plan without giving it away after all.

"You and Inu Yasha have been wondering about what option Inu Yasha will choose to take with the jewel. But I noticed that you both like him the way he is" Kagome grinned slightly in response. "I just wondered how you would feel about using the jewel for yourself". Kagome tried to look puzzled at this question.

 

"What do you mean Miroku?"

 

"I was thinking you could use it to become like Inu Yasha, a hanyou. You could live together, two full hanyou lives together". He looked up at her waiting for a response.

 

Kagome looked down at her lap, trying to hide her grin till it passed and she could sport a straight face. After a moment and she regained control of her emotions she heaved a convincing sigh. Remaining silent, making Miroku think she was going over the question. Then she looked up at Miroku "I see no harm In that" she gave an innocent grin.

 

Miroku heaved a sigh of relief. "Then I must leave" He stood to leave but stopped at Kagome's voice.

 

"Uh, Miroku? Don't tell Inu Yasha, I'd like to ask him myself" she looked at him pleadingly.

 

Miroku nodded his head "It is up to you then". He turned and walked back to the village, toward Inu Yashas forest.

 

Kagome sat in the clearing for a while, overjoyed that soon their plan would be complete. She wanted to give Miroku time to return her reply to Inu Yasha.

 

*Inu Yasha and Miroku*

 

Inu Yasha looked down from his perch expectantly at Miroku. He wanted to hear it again, that him and Kagome would be free to spend their lifetimes together.

 

Miroku walked calmly up to the tree, looking up to Inu Yasha. "Inu Yasha, I have done what you asked." He paused a moment, building up the suspense.

 

"And?" Inu Yasha yelled impatiently, already knowing the answer.

 

"And Kagome has readily agreed to it" He finished with a smirk

 

Inu Yasha couldn't help but grin back. Now he had to wait for Sango to come ask him.

 

 

 

*Back to Kagome*

 

Kagome had sat there for almost an hour after Miroku had left. It was time for her to finish the plan. She rose and left in search of Sango.

 

She found Sango lying in the sun, resting against kirara's transformed side.

"Uh, Sango? Are you awake?" she half whispered. Kirara greeted her with a gentle growl.

 

Sango opened her eyes, squinting against the bright sunshine. She sat up and stretched, yawning. "What is it Kagome?" she asked groggily.

 

Kagome sat down beside her in the grass. "I was just wondering when you were going to ask Inu Yasha?"

 

"Actually, I was just about too," she said with a grin. "Is Miroku back yet?"

 

"Yes, he's in the village more or less being a lecher as usual" she said with a giggle. "He's plenty occupied," she added.

 

Sango sighed, "men". She stood, Kirara transforming back to her little Youkai form with a purr. "I best be off then, I assume Inu Yasha is at his tree"

 

Kagome smiled "thanks Sango". She watched Sango leave, thinking through the rest of their plan. Now her and Inu Yasha would have to be in separate company with Sango and Miroku to ask each other for a moment to talk. She lay back in the grass, watching the clouds drift lazily across the sky as did her mind, waiting for Sango's return.

 

*Sango and Inu Yasha*

 

"Inu Yasha? Come down, I need to ask you something!" she shouted into the branches of the massive tree.

 

A flash of red and Inu Yasha was standing in front of her, looking quite unconcerned. "What is it Sango?" he asked in a tone Sango hadn't come to know as well as his normal short temper.

 

Sango was trying to find the right way to start this. "Umm, I've been thinking about you and Kagome for some time now". She paused, looking at the ground, trying to avoid the Hanyou's scrutinizing gaze. "I know you're worried about what to do with the jewel, and how that will affect you and Kagome's lives both as one and separately" Boy, this conversation was a lot harder than when she had planned it in her head. "Any way, I've came up with a plan without any consequences."

 

Inu Yasha was trying his hardest to stay calm and not yelling at her to spit it out already.

 

At last she looked him straight in the eye as she chose her last words "I was thinking that you should ask Kagome if she would use the jewel to become a hanyou like you". She paused, waiting in anticipation for Inu Yasha's answer.

 

Inu Yasha looked to the ground, a thoughtful look with a bit of shock added. Boy, he could really be convincing when he tried! He grinned at the thought; Sango caught this and got the impression that he agreed.

 

"Great!" She chimed. And turned to leave, headed back to tell Kagome.

 

Inu Yasha didn't quite know what happened, caught up in his thoughts. Wow, that was easier than I thought. But now what? Who was going to ask whom? He would have to wait a bit while Sango told Kagome the good news.

 

*Back to Kagome and Sango*

 

Kagome, having just received the news, was acting as happy as she felt. Keeping to her promise, Sango had avoided telling Kagome directly within earshot of Miroku. She just sat down next to Kagome and nodded her head with a grin.

 

After calming down somewhat Kagome thought out loud "I wonder when he'll ask me?"

 

"You should probably hang out at the well alone till he builds up the nerve to ask you. I'll keep Miroku busy" she added with a wink.

 

"Oh Sango, thank you so much!" she hugged her friend. She calmly walked off to the well.

 

Miroku saw her go, knowing where she was going. He made to leave himself; he didn't really want to miss this. But he overheard Sango ask one of the other women of the village to accompany her to the hot spring. Naturally, Miroku's attention followed the women at a distance.

 

*Kagome*

 

She walked into the clearing, headed to the well. The sun had begun to set as she sat on the edge of the wood, waiting for Inu Yasha to come over. It was near impossible they had spent the whole day away from each other. She didn't want to walk directly to the tree, should anyone be watching from the safety of the woods.

 

*Inu Yasha*

 

Inu Yasha was dozing on his branch when a familiar scent found his nose. Kagome's scent was the most amazing one he ever smelled. The most fragrant of flowers and the sweetest of fruits, he could never forget her scent. He was gone in a flash, knowing immediately where she was.

 

*Well*

 

It wasn't long before a flash of red showed Kagome that Inu Yasha had picked up her scent. He slowed just inside the clearing, walking up to her calmly.

 

It was all he could do to control himself from running up to her and smothering her with kisses. But thought better of it since someone could be watching.

He stood next to her looking down affectionately. "So now what?"

 

"Well, it kind of worked out on its own" she looked up into his amber eyes, glowing in the setting suns rays.

 

"What do you mean?" he asked

 

"Well, Miroku told me to ask you about becoming hanyou, while Sango told me to go wait here for you to ask me. I was with Sango when I left, but Miroku was present and saw me leave. But thankfully Sango said she'd keep Miroku occupied"

 

He heaved a sigh of relief. "So know can we tell everyone?" he asked

 

She grinned at him "yes, now we can spread the word" and before she knew it, Inu Yasha had pounced on her and she was now pinned beneath him on the ground. She laughed with delight and wrapped her arms around his neck as he leaned down to kiss her.

She returned his affection. "We need to teach you some patience" she cooed giving him a playful look. "You may have your way with me now, but wait till I'm hanyou and can fight back" she smirked

 

"Hmm, I can't wait" he grinned leaning down and kissing her. Lips planted against hers and licking her lips.

She accepted his request and opened her mouth. His tongue plunged deep, tasting and exploring every inch of her mouth. Inu Yasha finally drew back, Kagome short of breath, panting slightly. Gods he thought She never looked so good.

 

 

"How bout' once more while I'm human?" she whispered, eye's full of lust.

 

Inu Yasha knew exactly what she meant. "Do I have to?" he whined sarcastically, nipping her neck with his fangs.

 

She sighed in contempt, tilting her head back. She slid her hands from around his neck and down to his sash to untie his Kimono. She helped him slide his top kimono and hirori off then ran her hands along his chest, seeking out his pleasure points. She ran her fingers gently up his sides and was rewarded with a moan from Inu Yasha as he continued kissing her on the lips.

 

Inu Yasha slipped left hand under her shirt, and with Kagome's help, undid her bra. He started with her right breast already knowing it was her most sensitive. Her nub went hard at his touch. After a moment she stopped him for a moment to shed her shirt completely. It was almost dark, and hard to see, so she needn't fear being discovered.

 

Inu Yasha moved his tongue along her collarbone and down the valley between her breasts, drinking in her fragrant scent. He moved his left hand, stroking her right side as he moved to her breast with his tongue, nipping occasionally at the sensitive skin around her nipple. She moaned and arched her back slightly. He licked and kissed his way to her left breast, working it over just as thoroughly. He then continued to kiss along her navel, tasting every bit of her he could. Slipping a hand beneath her, he undid the zipper to her skirt, sliding it down her legs and tossing it by his top kimono, then did the same with her panties. The smell of her arousal hitting his nose like a brick wall and causing his blood to boil.

 

He moved back up to her neglected lips, massaging her mouth with his tongue again. He moved his left hand down to trace a claw along her inner thighs. She lifted her hips at his touch. He nuzzled her neck, nipping occasionally. He could smell her impatience of his teasing touch.

 

"Looks like you're the one who needs some patience" he mumbled into her neck. She only replied with a passionate moan. He then moved his left hand to her treasure, stroking her nub with a claw teasingly. She lifted her hips a little further this time with a small gasp. Then he moved his middle finger down between her folds and entered her, retracting his claws again. Seeing she wasn't satisfied, he slid in his index finger as well, seeking out her inner pleasure point.

 

She gasped and moaned louder as he worked his fingers in and out, her hips rocking against his hand in rhythm. She placed her hands around his back, digging her fingers into his skin but doing him no harm.

He worked his fingers faster and deeper, her juices running over his hand. "Ohh, Inu-Inu Yasha" she moaned, her muscles tightening around his fingers as her climax neared. He reached his thumb up to her nub, pressing and rubbing gently. That put her over the edge as her orgasm hit her hard. Arching her back, panting and moaning out loud. He felt her juices flow heavy over his hand. He left her neck and moved down between her legs. He barely let her catch her breath before proceeding to lap up her juices. She tasted as sweet as she smelled, He was careful to not waste so much as a drop, plunging deep with in her core. She spread her legs wider and shoved him deeper with her hands, raising her hips to his face. He reached up and held her hips as still as he could.

 

Not even two minutes had passed before Kagome was on the verge of another climax. Gods his tongue is talented she thought as he worked his tongue deeper. She dug her fingers into the soft dirt around her as she arched back against her second climax. Again, Inu Yasha licked her dry as she recovered her breathing.

 

Inu Yasha took the opportunity to shed the bottom half of his kimono. He longed to thrust into Kagome, but he would have to wait till her transformation when it was safe. He sat against the wood of the well. "Come over here Kagome" he whispered. She raised herself onto her elbows squinting slightly in the dark to see where he was. She crawled on her hands and knees and crawled onto his lap facing him. Catching the last of her breath, she let the cool night air dry the sweat on her body as she leaned against his chest. After a moment she sat up straight with a slight moan and a smile on her face.

 

He leaned over and kissed her. Drawing her hands up around his shoulders and placing his hands around her hips, raising her up. She let her self down onto him, quicker now that she was used to him. She pressed herself against his chest, moaning into his mouth. She shifted her legs slightly so they were under her more. Inu Yasha moaning at her movement. Once she was comfortable, she started riding up and down his shaft. Shivers riding up her back, goosebumps following soon after. Kagome straightened her back, kissing was impossible with their movements and panting. Inu Yasha grasped her hips again, pulling her up and down. Kagome placed her hands on his shoulders using them as leverage.

 

The familiar growl started from Inu Yasha's chest as his climax neared. Kagome was on the verge of her third. He would hold his so they would come at the same time. Kagome's mind had stopped working, or at least slowed down so much it took forever to form anything in her head. So she continued with what she was doing.

 

"Shit Kagome, faster" he half growled, half moaned.

 

Kagome readily agreed and pumped faster, the familiar heat building in her abdomen. Inu Yasha helped her by pulling faster on her hips. She rocked back and forth slightly as she moved up and down.

"Oh gods!" she yelled, grip tightening on his shoulders, muscles clenching inside her. At that exact moment Inu Yasha let go his seed with a loud growl.

She collapsed into his chest as he leaned against the wood soaked with sweat; both too short of breathe for words just yet. The smell of sex hung heavy in the still air as they drifted off to sleep wrapped in each others arms.
