InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ The Opposite of Hate ❯ Chapter 7 ( Chapter 7 )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
PLEASE READ: Excuse me for the long wait for this next chapter, I’ve been a little unmotivated to continue this story. I guess this is what you call writers block and oh my God I’ve been getting those too much. I need more motivation. Well let’s see, the last time I updated was probably before summer. So excuse me if the rest of the story is crappy or doesn’t even make sense. I still hope you enjoy,<3c:
Just in case you forgot:
“I was lying when I said sooner or later. I meant now,” He spoke under his breath, “I love you.”
Chapter 7
Kagome’s breath was caught in her throat, not being able to answer. So many things were running through her mind; was he lying to her, or was he telling the truth? Her mind quickly contradicted her thoughts of it being a lie. Why would he do all this, and then have this be all just some lie to crush her? The Prince wasn’t that bad. So, she made up her mind. Gulping down the lump in her throat she found her voice.
“I,” She tried swallowing again, “I love you too…” Her words came out in a little bit of a swirl and her head was spinning. The man that she always loved, the man she never lost feelings for, not by even a little, had finally confessed his love to her. Kagome could see her life now, and this time it was joyful and extravagant in the Prince’s arms forever. Her heart was beating against her chest like a hammer to clothe, somewhere in the back of her head she was afraid the Prince would notice.
Inuyasha’s ears were beginning to ring a little, he wasn’t sure he just heard right. Had she just responded to his feelings? With the same feelings? Thoughts swirled endlessly around his mind, blurring his vision slightly too. Or were those tears? Tears of joy?
Suddenly he felt Kagome brush her thumb under his eye, “Inuyasha, are you crying?” Another tear slid down by the sound of her voice speaking his name.
How could such a magnificent angel love him? Some type of magical, almighty being must have blessed him with this beauty.

Miroku and Sango danced around giggling lightly to themselves. Inuyasha’s way of doing this had worked out nicely, perfectly.
“Oh my God, I think we just helped the Prince and Princess make up!” Sango clapped around, “We’ll go down in history for this!” Miroku hollered, grinning like an idiot dancing around while laughing uncontrollably.
“The marriage shall go on!” Sango sang, while her and Miroku pranced off to tell the world about their magical match making work.

Kagome wiped another tear from Inuyasha’s frozen face. He was still, very still, the only movement was the tears sliding down his face. Her words were slurred when he tried to listen, she looked like she was so far away. She leaned forward and rested her forehead against his, looking into his eyes very carefully.
This wasn’t helping his dizziness, but he wanted her closer, he wanted all of her at the moment. In the back of his head, he could make out Miroku and Sango giggling somewhere behind him but he couldn’t think of anything else. Nothing else but the beautiful angel that was sitting in front of him right now.
Then, at the moment that was least necessary, one of the messengers came running to them, hollering for the Prince.
“Prince Inuyasha! The King needs to speak with you immediately!” Inuyasha was snapped out of his trance, straightening up and looking passed Kagome at the lanky man running toward them.
Inuyasha cleared his throat and lifted himself off of the ground. Kagome watched him turn away to look at the man, feeling a little pang of pain and annoyance with the messenger. He looked down at her for a second with a blank face, but his eyes showed her so much more. His eyes were filled with longing and wanting to tell her something more. Something she had no idea about.
Kagome could feel some longing towards him, a force pulling her to him as she watched him walk away. The bend of his shoulders, the movement of his body as he walked.
She couldn’t wait to see him again.
~*~
Sango was met with a pillow slammed against her face, “You were watching us the whole entire time!?” Kagome laughed, throwing more pillows at Sango.
“Hey! We we’re the ones who planned it! Thank us!” Sango’s laugh was muffled by another pillow.
Kagome rolled over, laughing happily feeling the soft sheets under her, hugging herself. She was finally happy in this god forsaken castle. Her heart had not stopped beating hard since the Prince’s confession and she was beyond jubilant. Her whole world had taken a complete turn for the best.
“Ha-ha, wow Kagome. Well I must get going,” Sango gave Kagome a big hug and wished her well before walking out.
She sat on her bed, smoothing the sheets a bit under her. What would happen tonight, when Inuyasha came in? She suddenly got butterflies in her stomach and she could feel a little bit of anxiety. Her head was swirling with thoughts of the night to come. She knew nothing serious would happen, but she could just imagine the wedding night…
By now, Kagome was starting to get suspicious though. Inuyasha hadn’t been back from the talk with the King since he was called early this morning and she was getting lonely in their room.
The sleepiness had caught up to her though, and she had fallen asleep before Inuyasha had gotten back.
~*~
The warm breath on Kagome’s neck woke her up that morning. She turned her head ever so slightly to look at the person who was holding her. The prince’s peaceful sleeping face was nuzzled into her neck, his arms wrapped tightly around her waist. She relaxed herself into his arms, feeling the warmth of his body against her and the light movement of his chest as he breathed. His arms tightened as she moved closer to him and she heard him breath in deeply. Breathing out slowly, he committed her scent to memory.
Kagome could feel his content rolling off of him in waves. She snuggled into his chest further and turned a little to look at him. Inuyasha’s eyes were now open, looking at her. She could see the true feelings in his eyes; all the love and happiness he felt at the moment.
Kagome noticed a hint of another emotion, but chose to not look to deep into it. They laid there for a while longer until Inuyasha sighed, kissing the top of her head and smiled slightly, “We got to go, wedding preparations my love,” Kagome pouted a bit, but sat up.
He leaned up and kissed her lips slightly then pulled away, leaving Kagome with a shock down her spine. She wasn’t sure when she was going to get used to the feeling of his lips.
~*~
“Great! We shall now go on and complete our wedding preparations!” The King boasted out loud, pleasantly happy with the news. His son had finally chosen a Princess to wed and rule the Kingdom. The King and Queen were worried that maybe they wouldn’t have made up, but now all worries were cast away.
Servants scurried around, completing this and that for the wedding. Sango had to figure out how to design the rose garden for the ceremony to take place there. The servants had to figure out what food to serve and how to serve it, and prepare the party room for the service after. Miroku was set to make the schedule of how it would all work out and to make sure everyone was doing their job.
The castle and towns people were all awaiting the day that the Prince and Princess would wed, combining them with their neighboring village. That meant the growing of all their businesses and the greater their power against all others.
Oh, the power they’d need for what was to come in the future of their village.
~*~
A/N Yeah. Super writers block. Well, I think I can get back into the flow of this story sooner or later. I hope you guys like it.:D Well, bye!
