[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

Her eyes flew open as she heard his faint even breathing, and felt slow puffs on the back of her neck. She hated the way he slept, he always looked like he was dead, but she wasn't that lucky. It was like the gods were teasing her. She hated the gods for her digusting marriage She moved to get up, but found that his arms were wrapped around her. Her stormy eyes turned quickly from lovely grey clouds to furiously dark thunderstorms, if anyone was there to see they would have sworn that lightning flashed from her piercing gaze. Her mind was spinning.. `Every night I wake up to this disgusting thing wrapped around me, and there's nothing I can do about it.' Almost to prove her point she made a slight effort to remove his arm from around her, and found that he was holding on to her tight against himself. `What I wouldn't give to slice these snake like arms from his body,' she thought to herself. He was forcing her to do something she hated to do, something that drained her of almost all her energy, but she had to do it, she had to get herself away from him again, and into the arms of the person she could never be with. `Inuyasha!' her heart screamed his name, but she could never be his. `At least my body can't,' she thought with a sigh as she began to focus on what she needed to do, it wasn't as easy with those snakes wrapped around her body, her thoughts kept going back to ripping them apart. `Come on Kagome, concentrate,' she scolded herself as she slipped into a calming state of mind that made her look like she was sleeping. She continued to concentrate until she felt her mind being lifted from her body, and was finally looking down at herself wrapped in the arms of the man she hated.*

She glanced over at her robe and the tie around it, at least she wouldn't be needing it tonight, with the way she was right now she wouldn't be able to freeze if she tried. She sighed, `Inuyasha, I wish I could meet you in my real form so I could feel you holding me,' her mind complained as she looked down at herself and sighed again, this time tears brimming in her eyes, even though she couldn't cry in this form she cursed herself for letting her weakness show. Getting control of herself she ran over to the window and looked out, a smile creeping onto her lips, he was there waiting for her already. Not being able to contain herself she walked through the window and with a shudder from the thought of what she had just done she ran to the open arms of the man she loved, the man she would do absolutely anything for.

"Kagome," he whispered embracing her gently as if he thought that if he held on to tight her spiritual form would disappear. They had been meeting like this for three years now, and he still hadn't gotten used to the fact that he couldn't hold her and be with her the way he wanted to. He knew that she was willing her form to stay solid so they could hold each other, but he couldn't help wanting to hold her real body, so that she could feel him as well as him feeling her. "Kagome what took you so long?" He asked while trying desperately to catch just a tiny wiff of her wonderful scent, `Nothing,' he frowned. He noticed her eyes growing darker at his question. "I couldn't get away, it took him longer then usual to fall asleep, and when he did he had a tight hold on me," she said wishing he wouldn't make her talk about him. "Do you think he suspects anything?" she heard him ask as she sat down on the bench next to them. She pulled him down next to her giving him soft kisses on his lips, the lips she could never truly taste. "Kouga? Suspect that his adoring wife is cheating on him with his younger pathetic brother?" she snorted as she layed her head down in her lovers lap. "Inuyasha don't be ridiculous, he doesn't have enough time to think about anything but himself." She added as Inuyasha caressed her cheek with his hand. "You're right, but you know this can't last forever, he will find out, and when he does he'll kill me." He said flinching at her next words. "And he'll have me killed as well," she said as if she didn't care. "Kagome, you know he wouldn't have you killed, punished yes, but he wouldn't kill you." Inuyasha replied running his fingers over her lips `Gods they're so soft,' he thought smiling at her. She smiled back, "If he won't kill me, then I'll have to kill myself." She replied holding her chin up as best as she could with her head in his lap. "You can't do that my love," he said grabbing her chin and making her eyes focus on his. Her eyes flashed anger at him as she swiped his hand away and sat up quickly. Glaring at him she replied, "Why not, if you're not in this world there is no reason for me to be!" she said beinging to raise her voice. Inuyasha sighed, "I would never forgive myself if you died for me," he said bringing her face closer to his with his hands and placing a soft kiss on her forehead. "I love you to much, don't you know that?" he added this time kissing her on her weakening lips. Even though she couldn't feel anything but a slight tingle at the friction caused between their lips, her heart always melted when he kissed her. She smiled as they broke from the kiss and stared into each others eyes. `Those gorgeous amber eyes could make me do anything,' she thought `I know I won't be able to live if I can't look into those eyes anymore.'

"Inuyasha?" She asked tearing her gaze from those hypnotizing eyes.

"Hm?" He replied placing a kiss on the nape of her neck.

"If Kouga was out of the picture nothing would be able to stop us from being together, right?" she asked wishing that she could feel more then a tingle from his loving kisses on her body.

"Right," he breathed now moving his mouth down her neck.

"Good," was all she said as she let herself enjoy his touch as much as she could.

His head snapped up, "Why?" he asked forcing her to look at him.

"I just wanted to be sure," she said, hoping he'd buy it. He didn't..

"Kagome, what?" He asked more forcefully this time.

She frowned, "Don't you want to be with me?" She asked as her eyes clouded.

He sighed "Of course I do, but Kagome you can't do this." He said grabbing her and pulling her towards him.

"Why not?" she begged "Why can't I kill the bastard?"

*Special Note: As you can probably tell what I had Kagome just do wasn't very normal. It's called Astro-projecting. Some people believe that certain people have the ability to separate their mind from their body, literaly.

A/N Hope you enjoyed it, I don't know if I'm going to continue it or not. If I get a review asking me to, I won't say no. Also anyone who wants more information on Astro projecting, or anything else you might not understand in my story, don't be afraid to review and ask. Oh! By the way, if anyone wants me to write on how Kagome ended up with Kouga, any why she hates him so much please ask, and I'll post it as soon as possible, but if I do write that as a chapter I believe I may have to up the rating to NC-17, so I'll have to have a few people tell me to write it so I know that people will read it. Tell me what you think.
