(a/n me interrupting you)

Well, I'm back from Canada. German chicks are really hot, huge boobs and not fat or anorexic, but fit…score. I hope that all of you don't hate me for leaving a huge cliff-hanger at the end of the last chapter, but I didn't have time to tie it up because we were leaving that day. I'm sorry about that and I am trying to keep the fire going on this but my lack of work time on this might make it suffer a bit.
On another note Blake will be showing up toward the end of the summer. He is just arriving at Sesshomaru's mansion now. I introduced him too early so you may want to review him at some point, although he won't be back for another chapter or so.

*spoiler alert!!!-don't read the spoiler if you want to find out what happens later in the book.
**spoiler-You thought I was really going to tell you didn't you. Well I refuse to tell you…mostly because I'm not even sure what is going to happen, so review and send me ideas.

Review replies: (reviews are a recommended action, if you review and don't want a reply below just say so)

Kitsune Lizzie: You have no idea how good it feels to finally be able to work on this again, sure the sights were good to see, but they have nothing on TV up there, I get more on my antenna TV

Kawii inu'no 45: S. Fish was your co-reviewer for a while. Haven't heard from `em in a while. Anyway, enjoy the chapter.

nased0: Thanks, I will. Nice to have a new reviewer

Chapter 13:

The figure sprang out of the janitors closet that he had been hiding in, an eight inch knife drawn from it's sheath, the cold metal glinting in the dull red glow from the light above them and from the security camera at the end of the hall above the doorway.

The figure plunged the blade into Inuyasha's side as Inuyasha pushed Kagome clear of the fight, wheeling to face his opponent.

The figure flowed through the attack like water through a siv, twisting the knife a full 180 degrees before his momentum carried him by the knife coming free. The figure kept moving, rolling to his feet following his initial strike. Inuyasha was recovering from the attack then the figure came at him again, sawing to the bone on his left arm, severing the vein with a powerful uppercut.

Kagome was in shock, unable to move or scream. The figure's fluid motion left no room for Inuyasha to retaliate. The figure reversed the knife the blade coming into clear view for the first time. The knife had a smooth sharp tip with the smooth blade running down one side, a serrations running down the other. The blade came down on Inuyasha's right side from above. The figure pulled the blade toward himself and out. The serrated edge gouging the bone, doing more damage before it came free.

Inuyasha fell back, blood pumping out of his body in vast amounts, pooling on the sloped, carpeted floor before flowing down into the front of the theater. The figure turned around and slugged Kagome in the temple, knocking her out. Inuyasha was fighting for consciousness when the figure walked over to him, kicking him in the head to make sure he was out of it. It was all over in less than 7 seconds.

The figure smirked to himself, satisfied with his work. It is a good thing that I got the jump on you Inuyasha, otherwise I wouldn't have Kagome right now. The figure pulled off the ski mask he was wearing, showing his identity to the security camera, Hojo's features etching themselves into the security system's memory banks for the police.

Hojo slung Kagome over his shoulder with a bit of difficulty and took off out the emergency exit. Hojo started running for his stolen car parked in a near by patch of trees. The scrub trees masking the car so completely that you would have to know it was there to find it. Hojo unlocked the late 80's vintage Dodge Spirit and dumped Kagome on the ground unceremoniously. Hojo pulled a mid-sized coil of rope and proceeded to tie Kagome up.

Hojo tied her hands behind her back at the wrists, tied her legs at the ankles and knees. Then he tied Kagome's wrists to her ankles before finishing off with a gag and blind fold. Hojo popped the trunk and hoisted Kagome unto the trunk by her bonds as though she were a suit case. Hojo packed a number of blankets around her still form to hold her in place and closed the trunk. Hojo smiled to himself and got in the drivers seat. Taking a pair of wires he wrapped them together and touched them together. The starter engaged and turned the engine over, the spark catching in a couple of seconds.

Hojo pulled the two wires apart and capped them. He glanced at the fuel gage to make sure that the tank was full and put the car in gear, gently easing the car out of the stand of trees and brush. Hojo merged with the other cars leaving the theater. Hojo waited patiently in the long line of cars for the light at the intersection to change and allow them out. Hojo crept forward as a car ran the light, narrowly avoiding a semi. The light changed as Hojo came to a rest again. Hojo accelerated out behind the car in front of him, heading for an abandoned apartment building near the docks.

The drive was uneventfully and the street was eerily still after Hojo made the turn down the road to the apartment complex, music blared out of a nearly empty bar. Hojo ignored the lights and kept on going toward the apartment complex. Lighting flashing in the distance.

Steadily the building loomed up out of the night, the moon hidden behind a cluster of clouds above. The complex was in good shape, The doors and windows missing from the rooms except a couple near the furnace room in the basement. Hojo pulled up to the building and parked parallel to the curb a meter away. Hojo killed the lights and the engine before he reached down next to his seat and popped the trunk.

Hojo pushed the door open and walked around to the back of the car, gravel crunching between his feet and the asphalt beneath them. Kagome's form was still and a large knot had formed on the side of her head. Hojo pulled the blankets away from her form and hoisted her out like a suitcase. Hojo hooked Kagome's bonds over his shoulder so that her limp head faced backward. Hojo slammed the trunk and walked into an apartment in the basement, one that had windows and doors still intact.

Hojo walked into the apartment through the open door and closed it behind him. Hojo carried Kagome into one of the back rooms with out a window and dropped her on the bed. Hojo checked her eyes and untied her. Kagome had rings on her wrists and ankles where the bonds had been. Hojo didn't leave her untied for long and tied her to the bedposts. Hojo left her cloths on, for the time being and left the room to wait for her to come around.

Hojo sighed and sat down on the couch in the main room. Hojo relaxed into the couch, sliding a hand down into the cushions and retrieving a stolen GLOCK 9mm. Hojo gently pressed the clip release and slid it out. The clip was full and Hojo replaced it in the GLOCK. Kagome, I don't expect to come out of this alive. But I will get what I wanted and you will see Inuyasha's true colors.

With Inuyasha

Inuyasha came around his head ached and he could feel the deep lacerations and stab wounds left by the knife. Inuyasha ignored them and forced him self up right. Kagome was gone. Inuyasha felt himself panic, then it happened. His body pulsed and Inuyasha's demon blood surfaced. Inuyasha's consciousness was brutally shoved beneath the surface and the physical changes of Inuyasha's body also embedded them selves on the security camera.

Inuyasha gone demon sprinted out the exit Hojo had taken, his sense of smell locked onto the sent of Kagome's body, mingled with Hojo's scent. The demon Inuyasha leapt into the brush where the car had been parked, expecting a fight. Instead the demon was met by an empty clearing and the scent of the cars exhaust. The demon Inuyasha followed this scent, moving to fast to be clearly seen.

Thunder rolled over head, the lightning reflecting off of the red eyes of demon Inuyasha as he passed the nearly deserted bar. A twisted smile formed on his lips, “Blood before the main course.” The demon Inuyasha veered toward the bar, his shoulder connecting with the door, sending splinters flying toward the inhabitants at a deadly speed. The bar tender dropped to the floor, pulling a home made shot gun from under the base of the counter.

The demon Inuyasha ran his clawed hands through each of the customers, gutting them from behind. In their drunken stupor the customers didn't recognize the happenings until they felt every thing in their chest cavity vacate themselves with Inuyasha's retreating hand. Blood splattered and pooled on the floor next to the dead customers and their gut piles. Inuyasha chuckled in pleasure and awaited the bartender's attempt to save his own life.

The bartender lunged around the end of the bar, catching the demon Inuyasha by surprise. The bartender rolled and leveled the shotgun. The hammer fell an a loud bang resonated through out the bar. Inuyasha sprang away from the cloud of gun smoke. The silhouette of the bar tender showing through. The barrel had blow in two, the upper half, with the chamber still attached, had shot back and severed the bartender's neck, killing him instantly. The powder burns sealing the wound and preventing any blood hitting the floor.

He sight just made the demon Inuyasha laugh loudly as he continued on his way, following the trail of the car's exhaust. Inuyasha arrived at the apartment complex, and then followed the scent of Hojo and Kagome into the building, slamming his fists into the walls.

With Hojo (explicit scenes that some may offensive follow, reader digression is advised)

Hojo heard the bangs of the walls being pulverized. Hojo hurried for the back room and pulled a small black case from his pocket with one hand and stuffing the GLOCK into the other pocket with the other hand. Hojo opened the case and pulled out a syringe filled with a stimulant. Hojo slid it into Kagome's jugular artery and injected the contents. Hojo smashed the syringe on the floor and stood back waiting for Kagome to wake up. Kagome opened her eyes after a few seconds. Hojo hurried over and clamped her jaw shut, and slid the gag off. Hojo them spoke.

“Kagome, I don't have much time but Inuyasha has his true colors flying right now. His demon blood carrying out his deepest desires won't spare you.” Hojo looked into her eyes, “I've given you a stimulant-birth control injection so there is no need to worry about what happens when he finds you…hopefully he won't get that far.” Hojo stood and dashed out of the room and into a different room, barricading himself in until he knew that Inuyasha was with Kagome.

Hojo shoved the dresser in front of the door and heard the cruel chuckle of the demon Inuyasha. Hojo stood in the middle of the room and pulled the GLOCK from his pocket. Hojo cocked the gun and waited, listening to the sounds coming from outside the room. I'm sorry about his Kagome but its for your own good.

Inuyasha was smirking as he rounded the corner to the hallway and saw Kagome tied down, he cracked his knuckles and started toward her. Kagome seemed relieved to see him at first, then she saw his blood red eyes and blood soaked arms. Kagome struggled to get away feeling the looseness in the ropes the would allow her to escape. Before Kagome could pull the bonds free Inuyasha was on top of her pinning her to the bed. The blood on his hands was still wet. Kagome shuttered and started to try to pull free. Inuyasha slapped her, his claws leaving a series of cuts across her face.

Tears began to well up in Kagome's eyes, and ragged sobs wracked her body. The demon Inuyasha smirked, enjoying the pain he was causing Kagome. The demon Inuyasha smirked and began to tighten the bonds to prevent Kagome's escape. The demon Inuyasha tore off her cloths, tearing them to rags and casting them aside. The lust and desire shone clear in the demon's eyes as they traversed the form in front of them. Kagome's body naked before him both aroused him and tore him within. The half demon he had suppressed was trying to get out. He turned back to the girl in front of him, her thoughts playing through her eyes.

Kagome was scared, she couldn't believe that this was the real Inuyasha, No this isn't Inuyasha, this is his demon blood, Inuyasha would never do this. Kagome tugged with all her might against Inuyasha and the bonds. Despite her efforts she was not able to move.

Kagome began to yell for help, for her Inuyasha, that had been forced beneath the surface by his own demon blood.

Inuyasha flattened his ears to his head and slapped Kagome again. Demon Inuyasha began to undress himself, removing his shirt just as Hojo burst into the room to execute the final stage of his plan, to kill Inuyasha and then himself.

Eri walked out of the movie by herself, her date had run off to talk to his old girlfriend. Eri sighed and walked into the bathroom to escape the crowd. After a long while she decided that she might as well go home. Sighing she reached in her pocket for her cell phone, but it wasn't there. Sighing again she walked back into the theater and smelled blood, a lot of blood. Eri rounded the corner to see Inuyasha sprint out the back door but something felt wrong and Inuyasha smelled wrong. He didn't smell like a half demon anymore he smelled like a full demon.

“Oh no…” Eri sprinted after him but lost him just out side of town. Eri slowed to a walk to catch her breath. Eri followed his scent trail, running as often as she could to conserve her strength. A bar came into view ahead, the door splintered and the stink of blood saturated the air. Eri didn't stop running this time she had to catch up. Thunder rolled over head once again and it started to rain, smearing the trail.

Eri cursed under her breath and kept going, an apartment building looming up in the distance. Eri followed the trail right to it, Hojo's and Kagome's scents joining Inuyasha's Eri walked inside cautious of danger, still following the scents. Eri took off her seal, she was going to need everything to take down Inuyasha. Eri felt the blood in her veins change, the tail and other demonic features form in place, and her body felt rejuvenated. Eri crept into the apartment with an open door and then Kagome started screaming out for help.

Eri was writhing in pain from the suddenly loud noise. Kagome called out for her Inuyasha, not the Inuyasha that was in there. Eri poked her head around the corner to see what was going on when Hojo burst from a side room and into the room where Kagome was tying to escape. Eri could see the gun that Hojo was aiming. Eri took the chance and leapt from cover, Hojo took a sudden hit from Inuyasha and flew back into Eri knocking them both back. Eri shoved Hojo off and charged in again.

Kagome was crying and Inuyasha had completely discarded his cloths, he was about to rape Kagome. Eri was so focused that she forgot to be squeamish. Eri tackled Inuyasha and kicked him in the head, knocking him out. Eri chucked Inuyasha's cloths over him and untied Kagome. Eri saw Kagome's shredded cloths and frowned. Kagome sobbing uncontrollably, clinging to Eri as if she would die if she let go. Eri comforted Kagome as best she could.

After Kagome had calmed down significantly, Eri retrieved the top of Inuyasha's Haori and hand it to Kagome so she could cover up. Inuyasha's demonic features were starting to return to their normal appearance.

Out in the main living space Hojo groaned and got up, staggering toward the back room. Kagome shrank toward Eri, having not noticed her demonic features yet. Hojo crashed through the doorway, gun still raised. Hojo quickly sized up the situation, Inuyasha's unconscious body, Eri in her demon form, and Kagome balled up in Eri's arms.

“Eri,” said Hojo, who covered Inuyasha's body with the gun, “I didn't ever think that you were a demon, but thank you for helping me with this.”

Eri gave Hojo a cold look and flexed her claws. “Hojo what on earth were you thinking?” Eri snapped at him.

“I felt that she needed to know…I couldn't get close enough to tell her and be taken seriously, so I showed her Inuyasha's true nature.” Eri lost a bit of her composure stammering wildly until Hojo cut her off, “That was his true nature, his demonic blood coupled with his deepest desires. He wanted you Kagome…he contained himself but never talked to you about them. He never told you and that is why he did that.”

Kagome hiccupped in Eri's protective arms, “W(hic)why?”

“You needed to know, Kagome. You needed to know so that you would be safe from danger. I'm sorry I had to put you through all of this.” Hojo took aim at Inuyasha's head and pulled the trigger.

Nothing happened. Hojo smiled softly and walked out of the room. Eri and Kagome heard him cock the gun again and then say, “Eri…you will explain yourself to Kagome wont you?” a door closed out in the hall and a resounding bang shot through the building followed by a thud.

Eri flinched and the stink of blood hit her nose, Hojo's blood. Eri gently walked Kagome out of the room passed the room Hojo now lay dead in and out to the car Hojo had stolen. Kagome hiccupped again and got in the front seat. Eri walked back inside to retrieve Inuyasha.

Kagome pulled her knees back up to her chest, doubt filling her heart. Is that really what you want, Inuyasha? Was that your shot at having both…being a full demon and being with me. NO! I AM NOT AN OBJECT TO OWN…

Kagome shrunk back into herself, hiccupping more. Soon Eri came out with Inuyasha, who was tied up. Kagome blanched but managed to not bolt. Kagome focused on the clouds until Eri came around and got in the driver's seat, Inuyasha apparently stored in the trunk. Eri started the car and sighed, not putting the car in gear, her demonic tail wrapping around and resting on the center console.

Kagome looked over at her best friend and gasped, noticing Eri's Demonic features for the first time. Kagome screamed and dived for the door latch. Eri hit the door lock button. Eri then reached over and pinned Kagome to the seat by her arms.

“Kagome, its O.K.” Said Eri in a calm voice, “I'm still me, Eri.”

Kagome struggled harder trying to free herself, screaming, “You ARE NOT! LET ME GO DEMON!” Kagome started focusing her spiritual powers in her hands and started trying to make a charged fist connect with Eri's body. Eri dodged but Kagome's words stung, “ERI IS NOT A DEMON! I WOULD HAVE FELT IT! LET ME GO!”

Tears started spilling out of Eri's eyes, her words full of hurt, her voice small and timid, “Kagome…I am a demon though. I just…couldn't…couldn't tell you. I didn't think that you knew about demons.” Eri had tears flowing freely down her face now. Eri shoved Kagome away and hid her face.

Kagome watched from the other side of the car, confused. Yeah she sounds and talks like Eri…but Eri would have told me, her best friend that she was a demon…wouldn't she. Kagome let the concentrated spiritual power in her fists dissipate. Slowly Kagome eased up and tried to comfort the demon sitting next to her.

The demon that was Eri flinched at her touch. Kagome just sighed saying, “It's late. Lets just go home and talk about this in the morning.” Eri nodded and pushed away Kagome's arm. Eri put the car in gear and started to drive. When they arrived back at Higaroshi shrine after the ill-fated evening Eri stayed there.

“I thought you were going home.” Kagome said after Eri stayed in the house.

“Not while HE is still here.” Eri motioned toward the trunk of the car outside, “Go get some rest Kagome, tomorrow is going to be busy.”

A/N: Well, it took me 6 days to write that, and it's not nearly long enough. What did you think? Was that too much to handle? Tell me in a PM, review, or email. I really enjoy the feedback. Bad things really do tend to happen around the #13 don't they? In this case it was not intentional.
