[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

I don't have any money so there is no point in suing me over Inuyasha, if fact I don't even have enough money to buy the DVD's so I obviously don't own it.

1000 Hits! Boo yeah! Quick dating lesson: girls say to each other “I like your outfit. I like yours too.” Guys hear “Slut. Bitch.” Girls: smiling at each other. Guys: hit the dirt or run! (courtesy of Mike)

Kawii inu'no 45:He is only exercising his deepest darkest desires. Under normal circumstances he can control himself.

Kitsune Lizzie: Hojo is almost always a pussy foot, so I decided to make him a bit of an extremist.

Inufangrrl: An explanation…sure. Inu left tetsusaiga at the house so when he got attacked his demon blood took over and carried out his deepest darkest desire. HE was a NOT himself at the time. We all know full well that Inu would never do that in his right mind. Kagome was scared, was recently unconscious. Besides she was so focused on The Demon Inu that she didn't sense Eri. After that she recognized Eri and ignored the aura. Eri's seal hides everything, including her aura so Kagome couldn't sense it even though she was near Eri a lot at school.

Chapter 14:

The events of the previous night played through Kagome's head for the next week. Eri had spilled about her being a demon, her parents, and the sealing charm. Kagome Hadn't seen Inuyasha since he came around. It had only been for an instant because Eri had yelled at him about the evening's events. Inuyasha had gotten very distant looking when he heard about what he had almost done. He didn't even wait for Eri to finish. He just jumped around her and made for the well.

Eri dropped in almost every day to see how Kagome was doing. Kagome had t admit that Eri was a bit hard on Inuyasha. It wasn't like he could take Tetsusaiga anywhere with him in the modern era, or keep reign on his demon blood when he was out cold and gushing blood. Kagome looked out of her bedroom window and saw Eri coming up the steps. Kagome sighed ad looked around her room, there was clutter and junk everywhere. She picked up a few dirty dishes and took them down stairs.

Eri walked through the front door and pulled off her seal. Kagome smiled a bit, “He hasn't shown up since. No foot prints, no broken anything. Come on Eri he hasn't shown up since he left.”

Eri sniffed the air and sighed, “Yeah, he hasn't. Good, if he keeps this up then you won't ever have to put up with that low life mutt ever again.”

“Now you sound like Koga,” Kagome frowned and turned away from Eri, “You know that I want to talk to him right?”

“what for, you just saw him two weeks ago.” Eri rummaged I the fridge before she looked back at Kagome.

“I know, but that was before I knew that he was or is Koga.” Kagome said. Kagome walked out of the kitchen and back up to her room to clean it.

“But still, if they knew that you knew I'd be in so much trouble…” Eri followed Kagome up the stairs.

Kagome paused at the top of the stairs to speak, “Now really, Koga was and may still be madly in love with me. He's pledged his love to me more than just a few times.”

“Ew ew ew. I didn't want to hear about my dad and my best friend dating 500 years in the past.” Eri shuddered, an expression flitting across her face that resembled some one in the process of puking.

Kagome smirked, “Well it all started when he kidnapped me and started calling me his woman.” Kagome pushed a bunch of stuff out of the way and laid down on her bed room floor to pull stuff out from under her bed. Dirty cloths, old pop tart wrapper, papers, school stuff, tetsusaiga…wait a sec, TETSUSAIGA! Kagome straightened up to see a very shocked Eri, tetsusaiga held in her hand.

“HE WHAT!” Eri shouted, disbelief smeared across her face.

“called me his woman…” Kagome said as if it were nothing to get worked up over, her attention back on tetsusaiga.

“OK THAT IS IT! WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A LITTLE TALK WITH MY DAD! Eri grabbed Kagome's wrist and dragged her out of her room, Tetsusaiga clenched in Kagome's hand. Eri pit her seal back on and dragged Kagome all the way to her house a few blocks away.

“Hey Kagome!” a voice called.

“NOT NOW!” Eri yelled at them, dragging Kagome up the steps and into her house. Kagome thought she saw Yuka out on the street but the door slammed closed, blocking the view.

“HEY DAD! We need to talk.” Eri pulled off her seal and set Kagome down on the couch, “Demon to demon.”

“Alright,” Koga came through the doorway, completely human, “Hold on a sec, Eri put your seal back on, now!”

“I need some answers first.” Eri said, crossing her arms, “Come on dad, demon to demon.”

Koga sighed and nodded, he pulled off his seal the human in front of Kagome's eyes changing in to the very familiar Koga Kagome remembered, only he looked a few years older.

“Hey mom, could you come out here to?” Eri asked.

“Hold on a sec Ok Eri.” Ayame's voice came from the kitchen.

Soon Ayame came out, also looking like her self, and just a few years older.

Kagome thought now would be a good time to intervening so she stepped out into the `spotlight.' “Hi Koga, Hi Ayame!” she said happily.

Koga's mouth fell open, “Kagome,” he said breathlessly, “So it was reverse able after all, where's Mutt face? I thought that you two never went anywhere alone?”

Kagome frowned, “What was reverse able? And I haven't seen Inuyasha in days, not since…”

“Later,” Interrupted Eri, “Dad, so how long has Kagome been `your woman'?”

“Eri that was a long time ago…” Koga started.

“Dad that was just wrong, my best friend who is in my grade was your woman?” Eri almost exploded.

“That was five hundred years ago, I was only what 18? Besides I didn't know about the whole time travel thing then.”

Kagome could see where this was going, so taking the fastest route possible Kagome slipped out front just before the shouting began. Kagome started walking away from the house, the muffled shouts still audible but broken out on the side walk.

Kagome sighed and looked down at tetsusaiga in her hand, might as well go back and give this to Inuyasha.

Kagome trekked back to her house and up the steps to the shrine. Kagome crossed the grounds and walked into the house to her room. Kagome looked at the tetsusaiga again and started thinking about Inuyasha again. Kagome felt the tears come. Kagome sat down on the bed, clutching the tetsusaiga with all her might, crying. Kagome sought the comfort of the sword, a number of tears dropping down onto the hilt and scabbard.

Kagome didn't see or feel the sword pulse, calling out to Inutaisho in the underworld. Kagome had no choice but to notice when Inutaisho answered the summons of his own fang, materializing before her.

Kaede's village immediately after Inuyasha returned

Inuyasha leapt out of the well, the familiar sweet, clean scents of his own era washing over him. He had felt dirty before but that was nothing compared to this. The clean, forest scented air made him feel even worse.

Inuyasha saw the orange blur that was Shippo coming at him. Inuyasha dodged and sped off into the woods, he needed to think. Inuyasha dodged trees for a good twenty minutes or so before he settled down in a tree top. Inuyasha closed his eyes and felt the lump rise in his chest, crushing his heart. Inuyasha felt his demon blood react to this swell of emotions.

You've caused enough trouble already. Inuyasha fought it back down, the noose in his chest loosening for a moment during this short bout of conflict. Inuyasha sat there for the rest of the day before he fell asleep against the trunk.

Inuyasha woke up the next day in the same spot. He jumped down and caught a few fish just like he used to before he met Kikyo. Inuyasha sighed, his old habits taking over. His feet carrying him over the ground in unparticular direction. Inuyasha found himself walking down the path back towards Kaede's village. He didn't do anything about it, besides, he thought, I might as well tell Sango and Miroku before Kagome does. It'd be better if they heard from me anyway.

Inuyasha kept plodding along until dark. He paused for a minute to watch the sun set, appreciating the beauty of it all. After the sun set Inuyasha continued down the path to the village, walking slowly down the dusty path. His thoughts turned back to Kagome again, if only I had better control of myself then maybe we could have ended as beautifully as that sunset…or better yet, lived together that beautifully.

Off in the distance a wolf howled for all to hear, celebrating some pack event, either a bondage or a litter of pups. Other wolves joined in the distance, singing for joy. Inuyasha snorted, a grim smile darting across his face.

Inuyasha was left to his thoughts for a long while after the wolves stopped singing, off to the other side of him the faint sound of another pack howling reached his ears. The trees drowned out most of it, but Inuyasha could tell that one this pack had just died. The long low howls popping now and again, like sobs. Inuyasha almost laughed at the irony that had passed by on the wind.

Inuyasha listened for a long while as he continued on his way. The dawn light revealing the valley below him, Kaede's village nestled in the mountains on the far side of the valley. Inuyasha sighed and kept walking toward the village. Inuyasha crossed the rice fields, a number of villagers greeting him. Inuyasha finally ended up at Kaede's hut and went inside. Miroku and Sango's scents were old and the only other regular scents were Kaede and Shippo's.

Inuyasha sat down in the corner and waited for Kaede's return. The sunny spot from the window on the floor completely crossed the floor by the time Kaede returned. The villagers outside were calling out greetings when she rode up on horse back.

Kaede eventually entered the hut to find a very odd looking half-demon in front of her.

“Inuyasha, it is good to see ye again. Where is Kagome though? Did she not come back with ye?”

Inuyasha didn't answer, but rather asked his own question, “Is Shippo near-by?”

Kaede caught his hint, her eyes widened, “That bad? Shippo is in the slayer's village with Sango and Miroku. Come, tell me Inuyasha, what happened between ye two now.”

Inuyasha mentally groaned before he started his story. First the movie, then the attack, his transformation, his almost raping Kagome while transformed, his hearing about it, his worries about Kagome not liking him anymore, his worries about it happening again, everything.

Inuyasha felt his mouth spewing it all out, unbidden. At long last Inuyasha felt his mouth close itself. Inuyasha raised his bowed head to look at Kaede. Kaede had been listening quite carefully, not wanting to see the much changed half demon become his previously harsh, cold-blooded self again. In truth, Kaede had become rather fond of the Inuyasha Kagome had molded from seemingly fired clay.

“You have ye self a sight of a problem, Inuyasha.” Kaede closed her eyes in thought. Not coming up with anything, Kaede opened her eyes to study the Half-demon in front of her. Kaede noticed that Inuyasha didn't have Tetsusaiga. “Inuyasha, where is tetsusaiga?”

“Oh yeah, I left that in Kagome's time.” Inuyasha averted his gaze from Kaede to the ceiling.

“Hmmm… perhaps this will be of some use to ye, Inuyasha. Where is it?”

“Under her bed, in her room.” Inuyasha kept his gaze on the ceiling.

“Then there is a good chance of her finding tetsusaiga?” Kaede inquired, looking at the roof as well, checking to see if it was in need of repairs.

“I guess so… what are you getting at?”

“Knowing Kagome, she will most likely understand the circumstances and return tetsusaiga if she is willing to forgive ye, if not ye will have to go back and get it. Either way ye get to talk to her.” Kaede finished off the outline of her plan.

“So what now?”

“Ye wait, oh impatient one.”

“Feh…”

“Ye be welcome, Inuyasha.”

Inuyasha “feh”`d again and walked out of the hut to just be alone again.

A few hours later Inuyasha came back and jumped up a tree to watch the villagers work. At dinner time Inuyasha joined Kaede in her hut and for the night he slept on the roof. The week passed in this manor until someone of great importance showed up. Inuyasha sat up quickly, thinking, It couldn't be…could it?

----------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------

Kagome gasped at the sudden appearance of Inuyasha's father, a stern looking dog demon. He was opaque, like he was made of a fine mist. Kagome's jaw had gone slack, her eyes wide. What happened next amplified her expression.

“So,” the apparition spoke, “you're the one who my son has chosen to protect.”

“Uhhh…” Kagome said, at a loss for anything intelligent to say, her eyes were still swollen from crying and her face was tear-stained.

“Where is Inuyasha anyway? Why isn't he here?”

“Well…” Kagome said, “he is his era somewhere, because something kinda bad happened to us.” Kagome started to choke up toward the end of the sentence.

Inutaisho looked concerned and he spoke again, “Please, tell me. What happened?” Inutaisho sat down on the bed next to Kagome and Kagome started to tell him what happened. Kagome had to stop several times to find her sob choked voice.

After a while Kagome finished. Inutaisho looked at Kagome and took action, standing up he said, “I understand why you are scared now, but now is the time for action. Go to Inuyasha, he needs you now more than ever.” Just as Inutaisho finished he dissolved into a fine spray of water droplets that dispersed throughout the room, evaporating.

Kagome blinked at Inutaisho's statement and steeled herself to face what lay ahead. Kagome stood up, tetsusaiga in one hand, and almost ran to the well, the kinks in the route to the well house preventing her from going much faster than a fast walk. Kagome opened the well house door and ran for the well. The familiar blue-white light flashed around her and whisked her 500 years into the past.

Kagome landed on the dirt floor of the well in Inuyasha's time, blue sky and birdsong above her. Kagome climbed out of the well, the warm sun reflecting off of her cloths and skin, and ran for the village. Kaede's hut came into view, Inuyasha on the roof watching the villagers work. Kagome took a deep breath and then, “Inuyasha!” Kagome didn't care how she sounded, just seeing him again after a week made her feel happy.

Inuyasha spun around and saw her coming toward him, shock written all over his face, He jumped off the roof and stood on the ground, his expression shifting to confusion. Kagome on the other hand bore an expression of sheer joy. Kagome, still holding tetsusaiga, ran up to Inuyasha and wrapped her arms around him, pressing her face into his chest. Inuyasha didn't responded for a moment and then hugged Kagome tightly.

They stayed like that for a long time. Inuyasha finally broke the embrace, he looked into Kagome's dark brown eyes, saying, “what was that for?”

The smile on Kagome's face dropped, “Well, I still love you. Don't tell me that after a week apart you already moved on.” Kagome laughed, hugging Inuyasha again.

Inuyasha broke this one too, so he could get an answer, “Kagome,” he said, pulling her face gently to face his, “Would you mind…” Inuyasha gently kissed Kagome on the lips, “if I did that.”

Kagome's face instantly caught fire and she averted her eyes, “no, I wouldn't mind if you did that again.” Inuyasha gently raised her still burning face to his own again and kissed her again, more passionately, more needily. Inuyasha slipped his tongue into Kagome's mouth, teasing it. Inuyasha could feel the burning heat from Kagome's face melt away, her tongue battling his now.

Kagome moaned into the kiss and took the offensive in more places that just with her tongue. Tetsusaiga dropped from her grasp as she pushed Inuyasha back against a tree. Kagome ground her pelvis into Inuyasha's, extracting a groan from him. Unfortunately for the two of them Miroku arrived to see how things were going at about that moment.

Miroku coughed to get the couple's attention. Inuyasha Immediately broke the kiss and shot around Kagome in a defensive manor, tetsusaiga a yard or so on the ground in front of him.

“Kagome! I had no idea you could be so…” Miroku was interrupted as a large boomerang landed on his head, Sango emerging from brush nearby with Kirara and Shippo in tow.

“Hi Kagome,” called Sango, dragging the partially conscious monk over to a tree and propping him against it, “Even though Miroku is a perv all the time I must admit that I am shocked.”

Kagome's face became red again and Inuyasha relaxed, picking up tetsusaiga and tying it on.

“ So, “ Sango said, keeping Shippo at bay so she could talk, “What was that all about?”

Kagome pulled back Inuyasha right before he was going to answer, “Let me…” Inuyasha nodded and wrapped an arm around Kagome, who was speaking, “I felt like it.”

Sango's eyes widened and Shippo got loose. Shippo made straight for Kagome but plowed into Inuyasha's hand. Inuyasha held him up by the head and said, “Hands off.”

A/N: I'm posting on mediaminer as well now. If you are reading this on mediaminer, all the author's notes will be for fanfic.net and Mediaminer because I am too lazy to change them. All previous authors notes are fanfic.net.

I hate to say it, but I will be updating very slowly now that I'm back in school. I don't really get a chance to write during the week so Updates will come on weekends at maybe once a week tops.

I know relationships aren't really patched back together that fast but I had to do something too keep the story moving. In the next chapter we explore what happens during summer break. And after back Kagome is back to school as a High school Sophomore. Guess who apologizes. I think that the story will only have another 6-8 more chapters so I think it will be done by the end of first tri.

Reviews are always motivation for me to get up early and work on this before school for an hour or so.
