The Power Of Desire

The group of shard hunters had been traveling relentlessly in search of new shards for the past week. They had retrieved three additional shards because of their efforts but were very exhausted. Kagome stretched her aching muscles and then grabbed Inuyasha's rough and calloused hand. The hanyou jumped in surprise from Kagome's sudden and unannounced touch. He then quickly disguised his shock with rudeness. "What is it wench?" Kagome frowned a little at his harsh response at her touch. "Inuyasha?" Inuyasha saw the hurt glistening in her blue gray eyes in the form of tears and his expression softened immediately. "I'm uh... well I uh didn't mean to snap at you Kagome." Kagome smiled and squeezed his hand. "Inuyasha are you apologizing to me?"

Inuyasha felt his cheeks burn lightly from blushing. "Yeah whatever. Now what did you want?" "We're all exhausted Inuyasha, can we please rest?" Inuyasha rolled his golden eyes and sighed. "Fine I guess we can rest." Kagome leapt into Inuyasha's arms and squeezed him tightly. Inuyasha's breath caught in his throat when he felt Kagome innocently press her small body against his. Then as quickly as she had been pressed against him she retreated to her earlier spot.

"Inuyasha the well is only about an hour away and I was thinking we could go home." He stared at her. His mind was racing with questions. 'Did she just say we? Is she talking about me and her?' "Uh you want me to go back home with you?" "Yes. You don't have to if you don't want to." "No I'll go with you." Kagome and Inuyasha said their brief goodbyes to Miroku, Sango, Shippo, and Kirara. Soon the two headed across the field in the direction of the well. Inuyasha stayed silent for a while until he was ready to speak. "Kagome?" "Yes Inuyasha?" "Why did you ask me to come back to your time with you?"

Kagome shrugged. "I guess I just wanted to have some time alone with you for a little while that's all." Inuyasha felt his heart skip a couple of beats when he began contemplating what Kagome might mean by time alone with him. Soon the pair approached the old dusty well and Inuyasha tossed Kagome's bag in first. Then he grabbed Kagome around the waist and jumped into the dark well. Kagome nuzzled her nose in the crook of Inuyasha's neck as they were falling through the space between the two worlds.

She shut her blue gray eyes and inhaled Inuyasha's scent. He smelled like the forest, almost a woodsy kind of smell. Kagome found that she enjoyed Inuyasha's scent and pressed her nose closer to his neck so she could inhale his scent more deeply. Inuyasha glanced down at the raven haired miko in his arms. He hoped that she could not hear how incredibly fast she was making his heart pound in his chest. He felt his feet touch the cool ground at the bottom of the well. They were in Kagome's time now.

Kagome was so consumed by inhaling Inuyasha's scent that she did not notice they had touched the ground. Inuyasha gently nudged her. "Kagome we're here so you can let go now." Kagome jerked her head away from Inuyasha's neck and her blue gray eyes snapped open quickly. She felt her cheeks practically blazing from the intense blush that had colored her cheeks. "Sorry." She had muttered her apology so softly that Inuyasha would not have heard her if not for his keen sense of hearing. "It's okay." He helped Kagome out of the well and threw her heavy pack over his left shoulder.

The two headed up the steps to Kagome's house. It was nightfall in her time now and no lights except the front porch light were on at her house. Kagome frowned slightly. It wasn't that late so they must be out somewhere. Kagome unlocked the front door and Inuyasha followed her inside. The two made their way through the dark house and into the kitchen. Kagome turned on the kitchen light and immediately found a note held onto the fridge by a magnet. "It's a note from Mom." The note read: 'Dear Kagome, your grandpa, Souta, and I have decided to go visit my friend in Hong Kong. We will be gone for two weeks. There is plenty of food in the house incase you come home. We will see you in a couple of weeks. I love you and take care, Mom.'

"What did the note say Kagome?" "My family went to visit a friend in Hong Kong. They'll be gone for two weeks. It looks like it's just you and me Inuyasha." Inuyasha watched Kagome as she placed the note in the trash can. "Are you hungry?" His ears instantly perked up at the mention of food. "Are you kidding ? I'm starved!" Kagome giggled at Inuyasha's sudden outburst. She then reached into the cupboard to grab a box of rice off the top shelf. Inuyasha watched as Kagome stood on her tip toes and raised her arms above her head. Her white cotton shirt rode up to reveal her flat and toned stomach. He lowered his golden gaze to her green cotton skirt that was already too short. Inuyasha watched as the more Kagome stretched the higher her skirt inched up her toned and milky white thighs.

His mind began to wander. 'Man Kagome has beautiful legs! They're so toned and perfect. Her legs are long and I'd love to have them wrapped around my waist! What the hell am I saying? This is Kagome I'm thinking about here!! She would probably kill me for thinking thoughts like this about her!' He shook his head to try and clear any indecent thoughts he was having about Kagome from it. Kagome was busy cooking the rice on the stove. She opened the fridge to see there was some left over chicken and stir fried snow peas and carrots. Kagome heated the chicken and stir fry veggies up in the microwave. Once the rice was done Kagome filled two bowls with it and topped them with the chicken and stir fried vegetables.

She handed a bowl to Inuyasha and gestured for him to sit at the table. Inuyasha sat down and began eating the meal that Kagome had prepared for him. Kagome poured two glasses of tea and sweetened them both. She and Inuyasha ate in silence. Kagome was eating her meal slowly but Inuyasha was wolfing his down like someone would come and take it away at any moment. Once dinner was finished Kagome cleaned up the dishes. Then she and Inuyasha went into the living room. Kagome stepped out of her shoes and curled up on the gray micro fiber sofa. Inuyasha stood by the sofa unsure of whether he should sit with Kagome or not.

Kagome reached for Inuyasha's hand. "Come here and sit with me." Suddenly Inuyasha felt his body being hurled onto the sofa with great force. Kagome's hands flew up to her mouth as she tried desperately to hold her laughter in. Inuyasha was lying face first in her lap with his feet draped over the arm of the sofa. "I'm so sorry Inuyasha! I did not mean to say that word!" A few more moments of staring at the hanyou in his ridiculous position made Kagome begin to giggle hysterically. Inuyasha growled and replied. "So you find this funny huh?" He reached up and began tickling Kagome's sides playfully.

Kagome squeaked and tried to wiggle out of his menacing reaching. "Oh no you don't you're not getting away that easy!" Inuyasha lunged for Kagome as she tried to scoot away. Kagome without even thinking said the first thing that came to mind. "Sit boy!" The subduing spell immediately kicked in and sent Inuyasha face first crashing down onto Kagome. Kagome yelped as Inuyasha crushed her to the micro fiber sofa beneath her. She began to squirm and struggle beneath the solid hanyou. Inuyasha instantly noticed the wonderful friction that Kagome was unknowingly giving to him.

He felt his groin tighten painfully as the blood began rushing to his member. "Kagome stay still!" She ignored his request and placed her small hands on his broad shoulders. Kagome pushed against Inuyasha's shoulders trying to free herself. She didn't realize that when she did she raised her hips and rubbed her entrance against Inuyasha's throbbing arousal. He shut his eyes and let a low moan escape his throat. With his mind lost in a lust filled fog Inuyasha absentmindedly rubbed his achingly hard length up and down Kagome's warmth. Kagome froze immediately when she felt Inuyasha's hardened length slide across her core.

She squeaked out in a broken protest. "I.. Inu.. Yasha? Wh.. what are you d.. doing?" The hanyou's golden orbs flew open at the sound of Kagome's quivering voice. "I uh I'm sorry Kagome, I couldn't help it you were driving me insane from all the squirming you were doing." Kagome felt her face burn with immense embarrassment. "I'll go back to my time if you want." Inuyasha began getting up to leave but Kagome quickly pulled him back against her small body. "What are you doing Kagome?" "I don't want you to go Inuyasha! I never get to be alone with you in the Feudal Era so I don't want to waste my opportunity."

He arched his eyebrows curiously. "What opportunity are you talking about Kagome?" Her cheeks were colored with a faint blush. "To tell you how I feel about you. Inuyasha you have become my best friend and you mean everything to me. Recently it dawned on me that my feelings for you are much more than that of a friend. I found myself wanting to be more to you. I wanted to know what it would feel like for us to make love until the sun came up the next morning. Inuyasha I love you!"

"Wow Kagome, you actually love me? I mean you don't see me as some useless half breed?" Kagome shook her head. "I was beginning to think that you might really have feelings for that wimpy wolf Kouga." Kagome giggled softly. "No silly, Kouga knows he will never be anything more than a friend to me. Kouga knows that I love you and want to be yours forever." Inuyasha's amber eyes widened in shock. "Kagome are you saying you want to be my mate? Dog demons mate for life so once it happens you can't back out okay?" "I didn't plan on ever leaving you. Now what do I have to do to become your mate?"

"Well first we have to make love and then I mark you." Kagome nodded. "Okay well then let's go to my bedroom." Inuyasha picked Kagome up without hesitation and headed down the hall to her room. Once in her room Kagome lit a few candles and turned on her radio. She put on her Jessica Simpson CD and turned it to the song "Sweetest Sin." Kagome put the track on repeat so that would be the only song they heard while making love. She then turned off the bedroom light and shut the door. Inuyasha watched her closely. She looked like a raven haired angel in the soft glow from the candle light. Kagome took her socks off first and tossed them aside.

She then unzipped her skirt and let it fall past her hips down to her ankles. Kagome elegantly stepped out of the skirt and tossed it aside as well. She then pulled her white cotton shirt up over her head and threw it aside hastily. Kagome stood before Inuyasha now in only a white lacy bra that barely contained her milky white breasts and her matching white lacy panties. Inuyasha's breath caught painfully in his throat as he stared at the scantily clad goddess before him. She was breathtaking, no absolutely perfect! He wondered how a woman this beautiful and perfect could even begin to love someone like himself.

Inuyasha watched as Kagome unhooked the clasp on the front of her lacy bra. She slipped the silky straps off her shoulders and down her slender arms. Inuyasha watched Kagome's full breasts practically fall out of her bra. Kagome tossed the garment onto the floor with the other things. She then hooked her thumbs under the thin straps of her panties and swiftly yanked them down past her hips. Inuyasha watched Kagome as she carefully stepped out of the lacy white undergarments. There she stood before Inuyasha her naked alabaster skin shining in the candlelit room.

Inuyasha's amber eyes skimmed over Kagome's luscious curves until her reached the surprisingly smooth juncture between her thighs. She was a truly breathtaking vision. "Are you going to get undressed or are you just going to stand there staring at me all night?" He grinned a little at his amazement at the sight of her naked body. "Yeah I'm getting undressed don't worry." Kagome grinned as she watched Inuyasha begin to loosen the ties of his firerat robes. Inuyasha slipped off his robes and tossed them aside hastily. He soon began working on his under kimono and removed it quickly. Kagome's gray blue eyes watched hungrily as Inuyasha's clawed hands easily loosened the ties of his pants.

She nearly felt herself begin to drool as Inuyasha stepped out of his pants and tossed them to the floor with the rest of their clothing. He was well built and his muscles were perfectly chiseled beneath beautifully bronzed skin. Inuyasha strode slowly over to where Kagome was standing at the edge of her bed. "Like what you see Kagome?" Kagome could find no trace of her voice so she merely nodded her head stupidly. Inuyasha chuckled as he reached out to touch her. Kagome squeezed her gray blue eyes tightly shut and waited to feel his fingertips on her bare skin.

Her heart beat quickly increased the moment she felt his fingers upon her skin. Inuyasha heard the faint moan that slipped out of Kagome's partially opened mouth. The hanyou swept the miko off her feet and gently placed her on the bed. He carefully lay in between her slightly parted thighs. Kagome looked into Inuyasha's amber orbs with a mixture of love and lust swirling in her gray blue eyes. Inuyasha leaned over her and gently let his lips brush over her full rosy lips. They were soft like silk and warm underneath his own lips. Kagome parted her lips to give Inuyasha more access to her mouth.

He instantly delved his tongue into her mouth to begin a drawn out battle with her tongue for dominance. Kagome moaned into her hanyou lover's mouth as their tongues danced in a rhythm as old as time itself. Inuyasha broke the kiss off to begin his quest down her neck to her delicate collarbone. Kagome shivered when she felt Inuyasha's fangs graze her flesh on her collarbone lightly.

Inuyasha continued his lustful path past her collarbone to her firm milky breasts. Kagome moaned and arched her back to intensify the contact between the two of them. Inuyasha sucked kagome's breast until he felt her nipple stiffen immediately. He then continued his way past her breasts kissing down her flat stomach. Kagome felt as if her skin were on fire each time Inuyasha's lips brushed across her sensitive body. Inuyasha's very touch was practically making her blood boil in her veins. Inuyasha swirled his tongue between Kagome's delicate and very arousal slicked folds. Once Inuyasha knew that his Kagome was nearing a climax he ceased his heavenly ministrations. Kagome squeaked out her disapproval in a broken cry. "I..nu..yasha?!" He grinned as he positioned himself above her. Inuyasha rubbed his hardened length against Kagome's pulsing warmth. Kagome felt her inner walls being stretched in a way they had never been stretched before. "This is going to hurt a little Kagome." She nodded for him to continue and Inuyasha firmly grasped her hips. With one powerful thrust Inuyasha ripped through Kagome's maidenhood and buried himself up to the hilt in her delicious warmth. Kagome blinked and felt tears leak out of the corners of her eyes. They fell only to instantly be consumed by her thick raven hair that was sprawled out beneath her like a sheet. After a few thrusts Kagome was no longer in pain. Inuyasha then abruptly pulled out and flipped Kagome onto her stomach.

"Inuyasha what are you doing?" "I'm going to mark you Kagome, you know make you my mate?" Kagome grinned as she felt Inuyasha's long silvery hair dance lightly across the small of her back. Inuyasha looped his muscular arm around Kagome's waist and pulled her closer to him. He positioned himself at Kagome's still slick entrance and pushed his length fully inside of her. Kagome felt her arms shaking as Inuyasha's thrusts became harder. Inuyasha swept Kagome's long raven hair off her back to reveal the back of her neck.

He leaned down and began nibbling Kagome's neck tenderly. Soon Kagome felt Inuyasha sink his fangs into the soft flesh where her shoulder and neck came together. Kagome's breath came out in a muffled gasp as her climax hit her with full force. Inuyasha felt Kagome's inner walls clench tightly around his hard length. He finally lost the last thread of self control he had been clinging to.

Kagome felt Inuyasha's length throb inside of her as it pumped his thick seed into the waiting mouth of her womb. After the last of his seed had dripped into Kagome Inuyasha pulled out of her. He pulled the soft green chenille blanket over them and watched as the candles finally burned themselves out. Sleep immediately found the exhausted lovers once the room was cast in darkness. It had taken them almost an eternity to give in to their feelings but they finally had confessed their love.
