Prologue

In the world of Hanyou there are two opposing clans, the mortals who had powerful mikos, and the youkai who had their own strength which could be amazing such as lightning speed or immense power. But both sides knew that the fighting couldn't last for both sides were losing many of their most valuable warriors. So on a fateful day called the Day Of Tidings both mortals and youkai sent one of their most powerful beings to make a pact to reassure that one day their descendants will live in a world that had peace. So from the mortals they sent Midoriko a strong priestess and from the demons they sent Tai-inuyoukai a strong leader of the western lands. They met in a secluded place only few knew about.

 

`Hmm she feels like a strong miko probably one not to be reckoned with' this was the first thought that passed through Tai's head.

 

`Wow his aura is very overpowering being in the same room is hard enough…' this also passed through Mido's head.

 

“Humph” was heard and seemed to echo forever in the damp slimy cave which the representatives resided in with the prophet.

 

That snapped both of the reps out of their thoughts. “Well what is it ?” Tai sneered.

 

“I have received a vision “ the prophet replied in a strange monotone voice. “ Shut up Tai “ Mido snapped “ He's making a prophecy and I unlike some people would like the info.” She took another breath getting ready to scold Tai for being rude to an elder, but just as she let out her breath the prophet started

 

” Both sides shall unite and born an heir but great evil shall be created as well. The heir and sorceress become one and only then can the evils be destroyed. Peace will happen and happiness will spread but harmony is delicate and a tip on either side makes fate break its bond.”

 

Both Miko and Tai were stunned trying to absorb the information. “ What do you mean you old coot, that a demon will have a child with a human?” Tai mocked. “ That is precisely what I mean and unless I'm mistaken, which is highly unlikely you will be that demon.” The prophet explained calmly.

 

“What!” Tai hollered “ There is no way that this Inu-youkai will take a mortal as a mate.”

 

“ There is also no way a mortal will take that demon or any for that matter as a husband.” Miko replied.

 

“ I'm sorry to inform both of you then” The prophet commented “ But that is what fate and destiny declared and the motions they set are not to be fought.”

“ Are you saying that I have to go back to my clan and tell them that one of our members is going to hook up with the other clan!” Both Tai and Mido exclaimed.

 

“ Yes that is exactly what I'm stating now since both of you understand what I'm saying may you both leave so that I can get some peace and quite around here?” The prophet said lightly chuckling.

 

“Fine sir .” Tai said sarcastically

 

“Of course elder.” Mido mumbled gracefully

 

And with that both of them left to go to their clans wondering how they will take the news.
