Terra ran down the hill from her house to an open field.

She could see the small village where she grew up.

She was never truly accepted because of being half demon.

She had lived there with her human mother who was the village's dotor.

One day the village was attacked by a demon with long silver hair and amber eyes. He had a crescent moon on his forehead. She could never forget the look in her mother eyes as if she knew him.

He killed half the village including terra's mother. She moved up on hill above the town after the attack. She had been living there ever since.

She also fulfilled her mother job and became the doctor of the village, only because had no one else.

A year after the attack she found out she had a gift. She could actually heal wounds by singing to the person and she could also kick ass. She was the best fighter in the village.

Terra stood up and wiped her eyes trying to forget the past. Then smiled a little. She walked up to a stream that ran though the field. She looked at her reflection.

She had jet-black hair and Golden eyes. She was slim and tall. She had sharp claws and pointed ears and two stripes red across the face.

She wore a simple black and white dress. Forgetting her reflection she turned around to see a man running up the path. The man said, "Terra the priestess needs you now

Why! Terra asked slowly.

A wealth man passing through said his son was bite by a demon on the way here! The villager said.

That me there now, said Terra

The villager ran down the hill. When she got the priestess house she could see maelin standing outside.

Hi maelin said terra.

We have not time to speak. Go the boy see in my room. The priestess maelin said.

I talked in the room to see the boy lying on the floor under a thick fur. The father looked at me. I quickly said I would not harm you.

I am the healer and your sons only chance. You may go. I would like to work alone. The man looked at me has if I was lowest creature on the planet before going out the door and slammed it.

I picked up the boy and cradle him in my arms. He only looked about 8 years old. I began to sing. I sang of the stars, plants, and animals.

He's face began to color. The wound healed. I heard a scream and it was maelin who dislike me saw what I done.

She pushed me aside and screamed Get away leave this village now. We have not demon or witches here.

Never come here again or I will kill you.

I ran out the doors. The father grabbed my hand gave me a pouch and said thank you now run.
