-Chapter 1:Meetings and restaurants-

AN: I don't own Inu Yasha or any other series related character, they are all from Rumiko Takahashi. I wish I own them. I only made up some characters. But I do own a few boxes with Inu Yasha DVD's from episode 1 till episode 108. This is an AU fic.

"_" are spoken words, `_' are thoughts. Sometimes you'll see a word or two like this. Hope you understand this all. Now on with the fic.

It was a rainy day. Kagome sighed. She sat in the "Prince garden" restaurant, waiting on her mother.

**Flashback**

Kagome was sleeping like an angel, when her mother called her out of bed.

"Mom, do you know how late it is?"

"7 am, why?"

"Can't you call me at 12 am or something? I was sleeping"

"Well, you've got to learn wake up early. Anyways, that's not why I called you. Meet me at the "Prince garden" restaurant at 9 am."

"But mom, why today, can't you do this when it's not satur…"

Her voice was cut of by a beep. She knew her mom would do that. Mrs. Higurashi didn't like long explanations. Kagome sighed and prepared herself for a long day.

**End of Flashback**

Kagome was thinking of a new client when a voice stopped all her thoughts.

"Hello hon, slept well?"

"Hello mother. And yes, until you called me out of my comfy bed."

"Sorry, but this was urgent"

"I hope so; I have some clients waiting, so hurry up."

"Ok, ok. I want to expand Higurashi Company, but to do that, we have to fuse with another big company, in this case, Dogyouki and his sons Tensaiga and Tetsaiga…"

"Are the best."

"Right, but Mr. Dogyouki only wants to fuse if you marry 1 of his sons."

"What?! Why me? Why not Kikyou?"

"He thinks that your better."

"Oh, that explains."

"Anyways, because you merely know the family, you have to go to the beach for a month. With Mr. Dogyouki, Sesshoumaru, Inu Yasha, Miroku Kazanaa and another girl. You'll take me, Kikyou, Sango Hiraikotsu and Shippou. Mr. Dogyouki wants to know your choice at the end of august. We'll leave at the beginning of august."

"Mom, I still can't believe he chose me over Kikyou, everybody knows I always make the wrong choices."

"Like when you chose Kouga as your boyfriend?"

"Yeah, `cause he only wanted my money."

"I know darling, but this is an opportunity we can't refuse."

"Ok, ok, I'll do it. But only because I think you're the best mother."

"Kagome, I'm flattered."

"It's alright. Uhm, where exactly is that beach?"

"Jamaica, you'd better start packing, today is the 28 July, on 29 July, you have to give your entire luggage. We leave on the 30 July with the airplane. We leave the airport at 12 am, and we arrive at Jamaica at 12 pm. Be there in time. Noh, if you excuse me, I have a meeting.

"Bye mother."

"Bye Kagome."

Kagome sighed. `To the beach of Jamaica? I thought I told myself I wouldn't go there anymore, after Kouga?' She almost cried at the thought of Kouga.

**Flashback**

"KOUGA! How could you?!"

Kagome saw Kouga and some other girl making out. Tears flew over Kagome's face.

"Kagome? How…I mean, why are you here? I thought you had a meeting in Miami."

"Plans changed. Kouga, why did you do this to me?"

"Because, well…I…uhm…"

"Wait, I don't care anymore, we're done, it's over. You can have your stupid ring back."

With that, she threw her engagement ring at his head.

"But Kagome!"

"No Kouga, I will not listen to you anymore!"

With that, she immediately called a yet, and she flew back to Tokyo.

Later, she was telled that Kouga only wanted her because of her money.

**End of Flashback**

A single tear rolled over Kagome's face. Suddenly, for the second time, a voice pulled her out of her thoughts.

"Miss Higurashi, why are you crying?"

She looked up and saw a pair of brown-golden eyes. It was Inu Yasha Tetsaiga, 1 of Mr. Dogyouki his sons. She quickly dried her tear and thought: `How did he know my name? Stupid me, I'm going to marry with him or his half brother. And he properly knows me from all those newspapers.'

"Hey Inu Yasha" she tried to smile.

"Hello Miss Kagome. You look better if you laugh."

"Thank you, but you can drop the formality, just call me Kagome."

"Has your mother told you about the marriage thing?"

"Yeah, but I have 1 question. Mom said that there would be another girl, who's that?"

"Oh, that's Rin, she's Sesshoumaru's cosine. He likes her a lot. Whenever he sees her, he buys toys, candy, clothes, whatever she wants, he buys it for her. Normally, he acts really coldhearted, but when Rin is around, he is like a teddy bear. He is practically her father. Her parents died in a car accident. Since then, she lives with a bunch of other kids, in a big house that was build specially for the kids. Sesshoumaru paid everything, even the toys, and started a refund for all the orphans who live in that house."

"Wow, I couldn't imagine Sesshoumaru doing something like that."

"Me neither, but he did do it. And it costed him more than 5 million bucks."

"5 million? That much! Djeezes, he really likes that Rin. How old is she?"

"12, but she is very smart. She owns the Cute and Cuddly Corporation. Of course with the help of Sesshoumaru. But still, she is only 12."

"THE Cute and Cuddly Corporation? I bought at least 50 items there, they are absolutely cute! But, do you have a photo of Rin?"

"Yeah, 1 when she was like 6, and 1 on her 12 birth date."

"Can I see them?"

"Yeah sure, here."

"Kawaii!!! She is soooo cute!"

"I know, even Sesshoumaru can't shut up over her cuteness."

"I never hear him do so."

"He only does it at home."

"Oh, that explains."

"Anyways, Kagome, something else. It's 10 am, and since you sit in this restaurant for like an hour, I don't suppose you had breakfast yet."

"Bingo! Usually, I eat a big breakfast, but today, my mom called me out of bed, I didn't have the time to eat."

"Then Kagome, can I offer you a breakfast at "The Early Morning" restaurant?

"Sure, why not?"

And with that, they both leaved and walked to the said restaurant, which was actually next to the "Prince garden".

--At Sesshoumaru's apartment-

Sesshoumaru was trying to pack his stuff for the trip to Jamaica, when his cellphone rang of. He looked on the display. 'Jaken, that stupid idiot, doesn't he knows that I'm busy with packing for that trip because my dad had an idiotic idea?' He wanted to turn his cellphone of, when it suddenly stopped ringing. But instead, he heard a computer voice: "You have mail". "That stupid Jaken" was all that Sesshoumaru said. He opened his mail program, there were 3 new mails. He opened the first one.

Subject: Trip Jamaica

Sir. Sesshoumaru,

I heard from your father that you and your family are going to Jamaica because of a fusion. He also told me to ask you how we are going to order it with the servants. I know how stupid and how idiotic you think I am, but please send me a mail back, I don't want to be fired by your father.

Sesshoumaru sighed as he writhed the response.

A minute later, Jaken got Sesshoumaru's email.

Subject: Re: Trip Jamaica

Jaken,

First of all, for once you are right, it's true that I think that you are stupid and an idiot. Second, about the servants, tell my father that we'll have to order a special plane for them, also tell them not to bring to many luggages. If they want, they can buy clothes on Jamaica. And third, if you will get fired, it will not be by my father, but by me. Noh, leave me alone for the rest of the day.

Sesshoumaru opened the second email. It was from his baka half brother.

Subject: Girls and woman

Sess,

Please! Pick up Rin or give me back my car keys, so I can send her back to the big house! She's driving me mad! She wants me to help her with her homework, but I'm busy with a new client! Please! Why did you do this to me? I know you hate me, but this? My ears hurt! And she screams to loud! Please! And by the way, Kagome Higurashi already knows about dad's idiotic plan. Luckily, because I didn't want to explain everything to her. We had breakfast together. She seems nice, and I can say that for once, dad had a good taste. Reply as soon as possible.

Sesshoumaru smiled. For once, he and his baka brother agreed. And he saw Kagome Higurashi a few times. All those times, he thought she was beautiful, tough he didn't say it to anyone. He quickly began to write the reply.

Subject: Re: Girls and woman

Inu,

For the millionth time, I will only give back your car keys if you take care of Rin for 5 days. It's only the third day now. You only have to do it until we leave for Jamaica. And, be gentle with Rin, set your client on hold, and help her with her homework. If I hear from her that you didn't treat her nice, I will punish you. And about Kagome Higurashi, I'm glad for you. The girl sounds interesting. And something else, don't give to much Ramen to Rin, I know how much you love that, but we have money for other food. And I don't want her to be sick of too much Ramen.

When Inu Yasha readed his brothers reply, he sighed and did wat his brother ordered him to do. He didn't like Sesshoumaru's punishments. The reason why he lost his car keys to Sesshoumaru was because he didn't want to go pick up Rin from school.

Sesshoumaru himself smiled when he readed the next email.

Subject: Fluffy!!!

Fluffy,

Can you tell Inu Yasha that I don't want to eat any more Ramen? If he feeds me anymore Ramen, I'm afraid that it will come out of my nose and my ears. And I've heard about the trip to Jamaica, is it true that I can go with you? And will you marry lady Kagome? I've seen her picture, and she is beautiful, they say she's nice to. Will you please marry her? And can you help me with my new client? It's a new store circle called the Expo. Please?

Sesshoumaru started immediately at his response. He didn't want his surrogate daughter to wait to long.

Subject: Re: Fluffy!!!

Rin,

I already told him about the Ramen. And about the trip to Jamaica, yes, you can come with me. You didn't think I would leave you alone in Tokyo? And I don't know if I will marry Miss Kagome, I've only seen her, so I don't know how she acts and how she is. And, yes I will help you with the new client. Ask Inu Yasha to bring you to the new "Playtime' restaurant tomorrow at 12 am, and I'll discuss it with you. Ask the client if he comes. You really need this client, or else somebody else will take him. The Expo is a really popular store. Full with cute things.

Rin clapped in her hands of joy, when she readed Fluffy's email.

Sesshoumaru shut down his laptop and continued packing.

--At Kagome's home-

"Damnit, where did I put my tube tops?!" a frustrated Kagome yelled.

"I don't know, I didn't touch it", her roommate Sango said.

"I know, but it has to be somewhere!"

Suddenly, she slipped out over something.

"What the?! Hey! that's my box with tube tops!"

"I told you I didn't touch it."

"Alright, alright, anyways, are you ready with your luggage?"

"Yeah, what about you?"

"I'm ready to."

"Let's go eat, I'm starving."

The girls were the whole afternoon busy with packing and now, they were starving.

"How about the new hamburger restaurant, "Playtime"? "

"Sounds good to me."

When the 2 girls entered the restaurant, everybody stared at them. Luckily, the girls where used to it. But what they weren't used to, was seeing Sesshoumaru Tensaiga with a little girl, and laughing. Because Sesshoumaru was known as a very cold hearted person.

"So Inu Yasha was right."

"Right about wat?"

"I told you about my meeting in the "Prince garden", ne?"

"Yeah, so what? Oh yeah, that Inu Yasha had spoken about Sesshoumaru's love for Rin."

"Yeah, so I guess that girl is Rin."

As if it was a magic phrase, Rin suddenly stood up, and walked towards Kagome.

"Are you Lady Kagome?"

"Yes, that's me. Are you Rin?'

"Yes! I'm happy that you know my name!"

"Well, Inu Yasha told me about you."

"You've met Inu Yasha?"

"Hai."

"He's being mean to me."

"Really?"

"Yeah, he was mean to me so Flu…, I mean Sesshoumaru-sama punished him."

"He punished Inu Yasha?"

"Hai, Inu Yasha has to go to the toyshop with Rin, tomorrow. Sesshoumaru-sama said that he should at least buy for 100.000 dollars. Rin is happy now."

"100.000 dollars? My oh my, Sesshoumaru really likes you."

"I think so, he always takes good care of me"

Suddenly, the spoken person came to the little group.

"I assume that you are Miss Higurashi?"

He took her hand and placed a kiss on it. Kagome blushed.

"Y…yes, that's me. And you must be Sesshoumaru Tensaiga?"

"Hai, but you can call me Sessh."

"Ok, then you can call me Kagome."

"As you wish. Noh, would you like to join us for dinner?"

"Hai, thank you for the offer"

At the table Kagome and Sesshoumaru talked about a client they both had. The conversation was cut of by a voice.

"Are you Rin Cute."

"Hai, are you the mister from the Expo circle?"

"Hai, I assume that you table mates are Sango Hiraikotsu, Sesshoumaru Tensaiga and the lovely Kagome Higurashi."

Sesshoumaru groaned when the Expo-man said `lovely', but nobody except the Expo-man noticed. He grinned.

They discussed over a contract, when the Expo-man suddenly said something.

"I had a thought; maybe if Miss Hiraikotsu joins, we can make mini boomerangs, if Miss Higurashi joins, we can make postcards with flowers in, or flowers you can use to decorate the house or something."

"That would be a great idea" Sesshoumaru said.

"It's ok for me." Kagome followed.

"Well, I don't like to be alone, so I think it's good to" Sango said.

"So that's an agreement. If you would like to sign the contract here."

The 4 people signed the contract. After that, the Expo-man leaved the restaurant.

"Well, I suppose that we eat our dinner now."

And with that, they ate.
