InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ The Rose of Deceit ❯ I here by SUBDUE you! ( Chapter 3 )
[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]
Disclamer: I have never, AND will never, own Inuyasha or the group. -sniff-
A/N:Yea, He, I wrote these three stories back to back with only a (about) three hour and thirty minute nap! I must really enjoy writting, I seem to be going out of my way, which let me tell you does NOT happen often! Hm...
I here by SUBDUE you!
Kaede's voice rang clear and loud across the now windless clearing. "Only my dead sister Kikyo, can undo the curse."
"I guess you're out of luck then, huh?" Kagome said while smiling all too sweetly at Inuyasha.
"That's what you think wentch," He stated while he attempted to raise his claws to swipe at anything holding him in place, but failed when his hand dropped uslessly back to the tree.
A frightened yell brought Kagome's attention back to the villagers. It was a bear, or something like a bear. It had three unblinking red eyes as it seemed to search the ground, swinging his truck sized paw through the air at nothing. Needless to say, IT WAS HUGE!
That thing was definitely a demon. And a scary one at that. The thing locked its eyes on Kagome and screamed at her. "GIVE ME THE SHIKON JEWEL!" His words were slurred and almost impossible to understand but I did, and it frightened her.
He lumbered over to her standing place and swung his paw again. "I don't have the stupid jewel, so leave me alone!" She shouted as she scrambled back towards the confined boy.
His paw collided with Kagome's back and she flew the rest of the way towards the boy. She hit his chest and held on for dear life. All while he chuckled under his breath.
"Remove these seals and I can save your pathetic ass," He whispered into my ear, his voice was gruff and I could just heal the lie behind his words, but what choice did I, we, have?
"I- I don't think I can! But I can try." I reached for his hand and grabbed the tip, pulling with as much force as I could muster, I heard him hiss in pain, then it was gone.
I did the rest to the others and then all that was left was the arrow. The one that should of, yet didn't, end his life. As I slipped my fingers around the shaft an arm suddenly hooked around my back and pulled me closer. I could barely breath!
Inuyasha snarled and swiped with his claws at the threat behind me and she could only assume the bear was there, trying to get closer. Kagome closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and tugged. Nothing happened. She pulled again, harder this time.
She began to get scared, what happens when the demon that had her clutched to his chest found out that she could do nothing to remove the arrow? Would he himself kill her or would he toss her to the bear. No! She wasn't ready to die! She refused to meet death just yet!
Her grip on the arrow tightened untill it was proclaimed pain ful and pulled as if she were to die in the next few minutes and had to do one last good deed.
Kaede's voice was urgent as she called to Kagome, just seconds to late. "No child! Ye must not remove the curse from him! He will kill ye then us!" But the arrow was gone.
Inuyasha launched himself off of the ground and towards the bear. Dropping Kagome he yelled. "Iron Reaver soul stealer!"
Kagome watched in horro as the bear stood stunned and then fell to the ground piece by piece. His body was sliced like you would cut a steak, into thick strips.
Inuyasha rolled his eyes and flexed his fingers, popping them several times.
Kagome stood slowly and started to back away as quietly as she could, trying to despertly not to draw attention to herself and escape, but Inuyasha looked up grinning as he locked eyes with her. "You stupid Miko. You should have listened to the old hag over there and left me, but I guess I shouldn't be too hard on you. You did, after all, release me. But now, it's time for you to, DIE!"
She tripped as she stumbled away and fell on her back. She didn't even notice the other Miko chanting behind her. The only thing she was concentrating on was the demon that had just clipped her hair a little bit shorter in a close call with his claws.
He readied himself to pounce again but stopped short when the beads that Kaede had been holding flew in a mass of beads and fangs at him. They re-attatched themselfs around his neck.
"What the hell are these? Did you really feel the need to put a neckless on me? Thanks, but I don't want it." He tried to pull them off but they didn't budge. "What? Take them off!"
Ingoring him, Kaede spoke to the girl. "Quickly, the word! Subdue him with the word!"
Kagome was confused. Subdue him? With what word? What was the word! "I don't know the word! What is it?!"
Kaede looked at her, her face revealing her disbelieve and confusion. "Of course ye know the word, now quickly!"
A flash of anger. "But I just told you! I don't know the word!"
Inuyasha was back after figering out that he could find a way to remove the bead later and decided not to let such a fine catch go to waste. Gotta get her before she can get away!
He growled at the mere thought that she could escape him, no, he hadn't lost before. Better not let it start happening now. But the thing about her that confused him was the fact that her scent was so muck like Kikyo's, and yet, it was nothing near Kikyo's.
Kagome's scent had more of a flowery way to it and it smelled like vanilla and cinnamon. Kikyo had shown him those scents and he was almost proud of himself for rembering the names of something that had been shown to him over fifty years ago.
But that wasn't the part that had him so focused on her, it was the fact that she had no mate and without realizing it, her scent was calling to him. Telling her to claim her as his and only his.
You know you want her, just take her dammit!
But she's a Miko!
That never stopped you before...
His heart was reluctant to even allow him to think about it. Think of all the bad then all of the good.
Well, one, she could purify our asses to hell, but then again she could also save our asses FROM hell. So that would be a win-win situation any way.
She doesn't seem the slightest bit repulesed by you. But if she was that scent would have been drowned by her fear. Maybe you should assue her that you no longer want to hurt her?
Who ever said that I didn't want to hurt her? Maybe I want to kill her and lick her blood off my fingers.
But you don't. I would know. And I would stop you. Don't you see you idiot? She is the potential mate that you have been searching for!
Don't you mean that YOU'VE been searching for? Besides, I feel in the mood to kill, to kill and bathe in the blood.
Foolish Hanyou, even you wouldn't be stupid enough to let a mate pass by without a fight!
He took a step towards her.
Kagome's brain was in overdrive. She was going through every word that she could think of, but none of them seemed to be a subdueing word. She stared at him hard trying to figer anything out about the way he acted to see if she could get a clue. But the moment she looked, her attention was caught on the twirling appendage atop his head. That's it. It has something to do with the fact that he is a dog. I know it!
He was continuing to get closer to her. He noticed her focus was elsewhere and that this was the perfect oppertunity to catch her off guard.
But she noticed as he took his next step. She backed up every time he got closer. When he growled, signaling that he had had enough she started whispering words that had to do with dogs, hoping to Kami that one of them would work.
"Heel, stay, lay, roll over, no, shake..." He looked at her in confusion. Of course, him being the demon that he was could hear as clearly as he could've if she had been saying them right next to him.
She was treating him like a dog!
"Oi, Wench, what're doing? I aint no dog and besides, I have more magic in my toe than she has in her whole body!"
He closed the distance with easy, quick strides. She gasped and whispered the first thing that came to her mind. "Sit."
He stopped when he felt a warm sensation tickling his neck. Then, like being draged to the ground, he fell. Or, not really fell, but more like... Crashed. With enough force to leave an Inuyasha sized hole in the ground.
Kagome couldn't believe it. Kami was answering her prayers. She had to be sure. "Sit." She said it again with more force this time and he disapeared into the hole within a hole.
She looked over at Kaede, "I did it!"
