[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]
Disclamer: I do not own any of the Inuyasha character (A girl can wish though, right?) and I never will.
A/N: I hope this one was longer, The last one was short on purpose thoug. But if it makes you feel better, I already had this one half way, and maybe even completly finished, but the time I decided that it was good enough to be uploaded. Rember, I tried my hardest, I really did, but English is my first language and I had to use the almighty GOOGLE(!!!) for the meaning and the spelling of a few Japanese words, bear with me, and as Miroku would say, "Bear my child!" !! HeHeHe.
Also, my chapter titles may not make since to you, they do in my mind, and I am sure if you can think hard enough about it, you can to, but if you need to understand it, feel free to ask. Kay? Kay.
A Glimps of My Future
It was all just... Gone. No trace that it ever existed. I looked around, how did I even know that this was were my home had been?
Maybe because that's the God tree over there
And I knew my mind was right. This was were my home was suppose to be, but it wasn't. I made my way slowly to the God tree, just to make sure that I wasn't mistaking it with another, but it wasn't the fact that it was in fact the God tree that startled me, it was the fact that a boy had been pinned to the tree with an arrow protruding from his chest and sutras around his wrists and ankles.
A green vine had snaked it's way around the tree and arnd the boy, holding him firm. His extremly long hair and his weird red clothes fluttered in the wind as it were dancing to some unknown tune.
But that of course wasn't the thing that had captured my vision, no, it was the very soft looking ears protruding from the top of his head. Dog ears?
I bit my lip and took a small step towards the unconsious boy and was shocked to see an arrow fly by, just inches from my face. It was so close that it had left a thin line of blood on my cheek. Talking about a close call right?
"What are ye doing! I told ye not to shoot just yet!" An irritated elderly woman's voice drifted across the open space and reached Kagome's ear, and now her attention.
To say she was shocked was the understatment of the year! Her supprise gave way to anger. Who did they think they were? Sticking someone to a tree with an arrow and then shooting at some girl who just wanted a closer look! And what was up with their clothes? She had only seen clothes like that when her Grandpa had decided to give a History lesson about the past in the Fuedal Era. But that was about... 500 years in the past.
"What do you think you are doing! Just shooting at anyone who walks by?!" Her words soon came to a stop when the woman turned her hard gaze upon Kagome.
"And what of ye? What are ye doing in the Forest of Inuyasha?" She asked. Man was she really showing her wisdom, not to mention her age.
"I'm sorry, did you say the forest of Inuyasha? I thought this was the Forest of Shadowed Secrets?" Now it was my turn to get the questioning looks.
Both of them were stopped by the sound of a boy's ruff voice, and it was right behind her. "Hey Kikyo, what's up? Me? Nothing, just chilling out with a fucking arrow sticking out of my damn chest. Hey Kikyo! I'm talking to you!"
I spun to only find the boy with an arrow sticking out of his heart to be glarring daggers at me, and those daggers were filled with as much hate as humanly possible. "You.. You're alive!"
He snorted and rolled his eyes. "Did you think you could get rid of me that easily Kikyo? You of all people-" He was interupted by a ticked off Kagome.
"First of all dog boy, my name's not Kikyo, it's Kagome. Say it with me now, who knew it would be so difficult? KA-GO-ME. Did you get that or do I have to spell it out for you?"
He raised a black eye brow. "Of course you're Kikyo, stupid. You-" The wind changed direction and seemed to blow with all of its might at the should-be-dead boy and his expression changed completly. "You're not Kikyo."
I gave him a look of pure annoyance. "That's what I just said, or did you not get that? My name's Kagome, I hope you heard it that time because I'm not repeating it again. Got that?"
"Who the hell are you and why do you have Kikyo's face!" He demanded.
That's it. I am royally pissed. Did the stupid kid not get it? I said my name how many times? I looked around for something to throw at him but finding nothing, I walked right up to him and spoke as clearly and as slowly as I could. Holding in your anger is very difficult when you have to talk to someone that is no were near the age of three and but you have to speak to them that way.
"I said my name was KAGOME! Ka-Go-Me. KA-GO-ME! DO YOU HEAR ME? KAGOME!" He looked taken aback by my rudness and I watched in utter fasination as his ear flicked back at my loud tone.
"Oi! Wentch, not so loud!"
"Did you not fucking hear me!" I almost NEVER curse, so if I'm doing now, I must be mad beyond compare.
A sigh behind us reminded us that we were not the only people in the clearing. "It's nice to know that ye finally awake Inuyasha. It has been a while a while has it not?"
"And who the fuck are you old hag?" Inuyasha ground out, obviously mad that everyone seemed to know his name.
"Ah, it is to be expected that ye would not rember I. I am Kaede, Kikyo's sister."
Inuyasha looked shocked. "YOU are kaede? How long have I been asleep? And were is Kikyo?" He sneered.
"Inuyasha, do ye not rember? Ye killed my sister while attempting to take the jewl and in Kikyo's final actions, she sealed you to this tree... Fifty years ago."
This boy was over fifty years old and he looked no older than a young man! No that couldn't be possible. They're joking with me right? But the pure agony on Inuyasha's face and the mask of calmness on Kaeda's was enough to prove that they were speaking only the truth.
"I did NOT fucking kill that bitch! She shot arrows at me so I decided that I had had enough of this shit! I just took the jewl and left but Kikyo decided that she was also threw and she shot me to this god forsaken tree and that was the last thing I rember. You sure you speak the truth old hag?"
"I am Kaede, Inuyasha, not old hag." He rolled his eyes again.
"Yah, well, you there, wannabe Kikyo, get me down!" Kagome counted of the seconds in her head, starting from ten. He watched her wondering what the beautiful Miko could be thinking about. You only think she's beautiful because she looks a lot like Kikyo, Isn't that right?
Kagome looked around after she had counted down and grabbed the biggest and closest rock. She looked directly into the Hanyou's eyes before she let the rock fly. Success! It hit the arrow and caused it to move painfull in his chest. He grunted in pain, he didn't want to be called weak or anthing, but she was a fucking bitch! That hurt!
He reached for the arrow, intending to rip it out to show the stupid little Miko who domonated around here, but his hand was repelled by the spell.
Kaede's voice rang clear and loud across the now windless clearing. "Only my dead sister Kikyo, can undo the curse."
