A/N: Okay here is the first chapter of my story this is the first time I have decided to write an alternate universe story. I hope you enjoy!!!

Chapter One

The New Girls in Town

 

Inuyasha sat on the trunk of his car in the school parking lot. It was really early in the morning and everyone was supposed to be meeting him there. As it was he was the only one in the parking and he was becoming more and more pissed off. Inuyasha crossed his arms across his chest and closed his eyes. He could understand his no good half brother being late. He would do it just to piss him off but Miroku and Koga knew better then to keep him waiting.

 

Inuyasha's ear twitched at the sound of an engine revving. About fucking time Koga! Inuyasha opened his eyes just as Koga, on his Suzuki GSX-R600 motorbike, pulled into the empty stall beside Inuyasha's car. Koga cut the engine and hopped off his black and forest green bike. Inuyasha just glared at him as he slowly took off his helmet and turned to face Inuyasha.

 

“Your fucking late ookani,” Inuyasha turned and glared at Koga.

 

Koga smirked as he placed his helmet on his seat and turned around to look at Inuyasha. “I'm not late you idiot. You said 7:30 and it is only 7:25. I'm actually early.”

 

“Keh!” Inuyasha looked back to the entrance of the parking, “I thought you were bringing Miroku.”

 

“I was but Miroku called me last night and said that he was going to be getting a ride with Sesshomaru. He said something about new music or lyrics or…” Inuyasha stopped listening to Koga as he rambled on about shit that wasn't important. If Sesshomaru is bringing Miroku then that means that they will be here at precisely 7:30. Fuck! I hate waiting.

 

“Inuyasha! Are you even listening to me!”

 

Inuyasha growled as he looked away from the entrance and glared at Koga. “I don't ever really listen to you. You never have anything of interest to say.”

 

“Fuck you Inuyasha!”

 

Inuyasha chuckled at Koga's comment. True he never really did listen to Koga. Koga was good for one thing and one thing only. He was an awesome drummer and that was why Inuyasha still called him a `friend'. If he sucked at drumming then he would have told Koga where to go and how to get there a long time ago. Inuyasha looked back to the entrance and sighed. There was his brother right on time as usual.

 

“See Inuyasha you were the one that was early. We're all on time.”

 

Inuyasha rolled his eyes at Koga as Sesshomaru pulled into the stall on the other side of Inuyasha's car. He was driving his new Nissan Z Roadster. Inuyasha still shook his head at the new car. There was nothing wrong with his old car. In fact Inuyasha loved the old car and that was why he was so hell bound to buy it from his brother. Inuyasha looked at his blood red Nissan Z. He had named it Fang and when Sesshomaru said that he was going to sell the car to upgrade to the Roadster he jumped all over that.

 

Sesshomaru and Miroku both got out of the car and as usual Miroku was talking up a storm to the stoic faced Sesshomaru. Inuyasha had to laugh to himself. Miroku had probably invited himself to get a ride with Sesshomaru and since Miroku probably said that he had something really important to tell him Sesshomaru would have said yes to him getting a ride.

 

“I'm telling you Sesshomaru its true!” Sesshomaru shook his head as he walked up to everyone standing in the deserted parking lot.

 

“It is just a rumour Miroku. There is no way that they would be coming to this school of all places.” Sesshomaru stood beside Inuyasha and crossed his arms as he leaned against the trunk of the car.

 

“Miroku what are you gossiping about now?” Koga stated as he stared at the houshi.

 

“I do not gossip. I merely hear news and relay it to those I think would benefit from the information. I know that this bit of info is true.”

 

“What the hell are you talking about!” Inuyasha growled out. He was getting annoyed already at the choice of topic.

 

“I am talking about The Sage!” Inuyasha and Koga straightened up at Miroku's statement. The Sage was the one number band in all of Japan. They were also a group of all really beautiful women who could really sing and play.

 

“Are you saying that The Sage is coming to this Senior High School? Why the hell would they come to this school?” Koga moved his helmet and got comfortable on the seat of his bike.

 

“It was written in this music magazine that I was reading. The Sage had just finished up their contract with Lightning Productions and have signed on with the best recording company in all of Japan…”

 

“They are signed to Towers Recordings!?!?!” Inuyasha leapt off the back of Fang and landed right in front of Miroku. Miroku jumped back startled.

 

“Well that is the best recording company in the country and it so happens that the studio is seven blocks from here. The Haven said in an interview that they were tired of the managers at Lightning and that they were always planning on changing production companies once their contract was up. And the contract was up two months ago. So during the summer they signed up with Towers and now they are planning on finishing their senior year of school here at Tokyo High.”

 

“And this is a fact Miroku?” The wolf youkai was grinning like a fool.

 

“Well it is and it isn't a fact Koga. The Miko, who hates interviews, mentioned that they were planning on going to school near the studio so that it would be easier to get to the studio recording times and meetings. So it just makes sense that they would come here.”

 

Inuyasha shook his head, “So you are basing this theory on the fact that our school is the closest to the recording studio and that's it.”

 

“I hate to admit it but the houshi does have a point Inuyasha.” Inuyasha looked sideways at his half brother who finally decided to add to the conversation.

 

“What?!”

 

“Well if you think about it it does make sense that they would be coming to our school. They don't like private schools or schools that make you wear a uniform and this school is the only one that doesn't have a uniform and is a public school that is within walking distance.”

 

“Well I'll believe that when I fucking see it,” Inuyasha walked back to his car and hopped back up on the trunk, “Now that the gossip is all done can we get down to business. We need to try and get into the battle of the bands next month for the cherry blossom festival. There will be all kinds of scouts and agents there and if we make it into the top three bands that will get us a lot of free publicity…”

 

“Inuyasha?”

 

“Yes Sesshomaru?”

 

“You do know that The Sage are going to be battling in the battle of the band.”

 

“Your point being?” Inuyasha was getting annoyed once again and Sesshomaru wasn't helping it with his stupidity.

 

“We all know that The Sage will be the number one band at the battle and then that leaves only the next two spots open. We have had very little practice in public.”

 

“We play here all the time Sesshomaru.” Inuyasha gestured to the school behind him.

 

“Yes we do but that is just the school. Not very many people have heard of us. We need to concentrate more on getting into clubs for open mic night or open band nights. That way we will be able to practice and we will get into the public eye.”

 

“I agree with Sesshomaru on this one Inuyasha. We need to get more into the public eye before the battle of the bands. That way we will already have a fan base at the battle and they will be more likely to vote for someone they know then a new coming band.”

 

Inuyasha listened as the others starting talking about clubs and pubs that were having open mic nights and open band nights. Inuyasha hated to admit it but his damn brother was right. They did need to get into some clubs and play there. Inuyasha smirked when Miroku started to talk about the hot girls that would be coming up to him to get an autograph.

 

Slowly the sun started to rise as the four of them stood around the parking lot talking about getting their band up and going. Some teachers were arriving now and were giving the four of them the evil eye. By 8 am students were starting to arrive in the parking and Inuyasha inwardly cringed. He hated the students that acted like they knew him. Like the ones that would yell out his name across the parking lot and wave. Sesshomaru had told him long ago to get used to this because fans would be doing this but this was different. These were students at his school that only knew his name and knew that he was one of the most popular guys in school.

 

“Holy Shit!!!” Inuyasha had just finished nodding at another nobody when Koga's yelling made him turn his head. Inuyasha's jaw dropped as he watched the entrance of the parking lot. Pulling into the parking lot was a brand new Silver Porsche Carrera GT followed by a deep pink Dodge Viper SRT-10 convertible with its roof up.

 

The two cars came around the corner and parked in the two stalls that were open across the lot from Inuyasha and others. Inuyasha couldn't believe it. Those two cars would have had to be imported and they are completely tricked out! No one at this school would be able to afford those cars. No WAY!

 

Inuyasha gawked as the doors to the Porsche and the Viper opened and four women climbed out. “Oh! My! God!” Inuyasha just nodded dumbly at Miroku's comment.

Kagome sat in the passenger seat of Sorano's Porsche. She would have ridden with Sango in the Viper but Sango was in a bad mood this morning because of the iron incident. Kagome laughed to herself at Sango's misfortune but it was funny that she thought she could iron her new rayon jacket at the hottest temperature. Plus it was still funny that she thought that she could return it.

 

“What's so funny Miko?” Sorano glanced at Kagome as she drove along looking for the entrance to their school.

 

“I am still thinking about Sango this morning and the whole iron incident.” Kagome started to laugh even harder at the mental picture of Sango getting pissed off at the iron.

 

Sorano laughed as well as she stopped at a red light. “So this new school, do you know anything about it?”

 

“Only that it is the only school closest to the recording company that is a public school. I can't wait to get there. I've really missed going to school to be with teens our own age and to hang out after school and talk about nothing.”

 

“Kagome I don't think that that will be what it's going to be like at this school. I mean there is a billboard down the street from the school that has our faces on it. And a fifty foot poster with your face on it kinda makes it hard to fit in as a normal teenage girl.”

 

Kagome laughed again, “Yeah I guess so.” Kagome jumped as Sorano's cell phone went off. Sorano reached forward and pushed the talk on her hands free.

 

“Hai.”

 

“Hey Haven are you going to go or are we going to wait till the next green light?”

 

Sorano looked up and sure enough the light was green. Kagome laughed again as Sorano cursed under her breathe and punched it into first. “Ha ha Sango. What's your big hurry anyways? I thought you were still mad about your new jacket.”

 

“Eungh! Don't remind me. Plus with Rin sitting here talking with me I realized that with wrecking my new jacket I will be able to go on a shopping spree to buy a new one.”

 

Kagome wiped a tear from her eye as she stared at the cell phone on the dashboard. “A shopping spree for a new jacket. Don't you mean just going to the store and buying another one?”

 

“Come on Miko! I plan on buying all new school clothes.”

 

Kagome shook her head. “Sango we will be hanging up now. The parking lot entrance is coming up on the right. Park by us.”

 

“You got it.” Kagome heard the soft click as Sorano's phone shut off.

 

Sorano slowed down as she rounded the corner and entered the student parking lot. There weren't very many students there. Well I guess that not very many students own their own cars. Plus it is really early. Kagome turned her head and her eyes fell on a flash of silver.

 

“My God!”

 

“What?” Sorano glanced over at Kagome and followed her eye line. “The silver haired guy over there?”

 

Kagome blushed as she turned to look at Sorano. “No! I was just commenting on the school grounds. There huge!”

 

Sorano smirked, “Sure sure Kagome. Oh look there are a few stalls open over by them.” Kagome gawked at Sorano as she pulled into the parking stall right across the lot from the silver haired guy sitting on a red Nissan Z series car. Kagome waited till Sango had pulled in beside her side of the car before she opened her door and climbed out.

 

Sorano, Sango and Rin all climbed out of the car shortly after Kagome did. Kagome lowered her Oakley red framed sunglasses and glanced around the parking lot. It seemed to Kagome that everyone had stopped what he or she was doing. Just great. I hate this part of the job. Why can't people just go about their daily business without stopping and staring at the famous people?

 

Kagome felt a hand on her lower back and turned around. Sorano smiled down at her and gently pushed her forward. Kagome grinned as she pushed her sunglasses back up on her nose and started to make her way across the parking lot. Sango and Rin were walking a little ways ahead of them.

 

“Sorano this is going to be a nightmare. I hate starting at new schools. All the students do is stare and it is really annoying.”

 

“I know Kagome but it will be alright. I promise. Just go about your daily business and ignore them. They just want there 15 minutes of fame anyways.”

 

Kagome nodded. When she looked forward again her eyes locked with the silver haired man that she had seen when she had come into the parking lot. His eyes were so interesting and so fierce. She could feel herself losing herself in his eyes. Kagome would have lost herself in those depths if it hadn't been for Sango's voice wavering over to her.

 

“Excuse me!?”

 

Kagome and Sorano glanced over at Sango who was glaring at a tall black haired man. Wait I sense something from him. I think he's a houshi and a pretty powerful one too. I will need to tell Sorano about that later.

 

The tall black haired man walked towards Sango and grasped her hands in his and looked deep into her eyes. “Will you bear my child?”

 

Kagome couldn't help it. It was the first time she had heard some guy use that kind of pick up line. She burst out laughing and so did Sorano and Rin. Kagome gripped onto Sorano as she laughed her heart out. Sango on the other hand pulled her hands free and slapped the guy across the face. This caused Kagome to laugh even harder. Suddenly Kagome was aware of the fact that not only was she laughing but so were the other guys that were standing there.

 

“Miroku you fucking idiot! When are you ever going to learn!” Kagome looked up and saw that it was the golden eyed guy that was talking.

 

“I can't help myself. I just had to ask. The Taijiya is a beautiful woman and we would have the most beautiful children together.”

 

“Miroku was it?”

 

The guy called Miroku turned to Sango and smiled at her. “Yes my flower?”

 

Kagome grinned as Sango's eyebrow started to twitch. She walked up to Miroku and wrapped her arms around his neck as she pulled herself against Miroku. Kagome held in the grin that was trying to play across her face. Miroku wrapped his arms around Sango's waist and looked deep into her eyes. Sango twirled his little ponytail between her fingers as she smiled seductively up at Miroku.

 

“Now listen and listen well Miroku. If you ever ever touch me without my permission again I will make it so you never have children. Do I make myself cle…” Sango flinched as she felt Miroku rubbing her butt. Sango gritted her teeth as she glared daggers at the man groping her. Sango pulled her leg back and then kneed him in the groin hard.

 

Miroku fell to the ground hard and Sango huffed as she walked off. Kagome bent down and helped the fallen perverted monk to his feet. “I'm sorry about Sango. But you have to understand that women don't like to touched like that.”

 

Miroku made to reply but the silver haired man stopped him. “Stop now Miroku before she knees you in the groin too.”

 

Kagome turned and looked at the man. “And you are?”

 

“I'm Inuyasha.”

 

Kagome smiled and bowed slightly. “I'm Higurashi Kagome. Its nice to meet you.”

 

“Kagome come on!!” Kagome looked up and saw that Sango was tapping her foot with her arms crossed staring at Kagome as she waited impatiently for her to come.

 

“I'm coming Sango! Again it was nice to meet you. I'll see you around school!” Kagome grabbed Sorano's hand and dragged her away. For being the new girls in town there are a lot of interesting guys here. I think I'm going to like it here. Kagome smiled to herself as she ran to catch up with Sango.
