Kagome needed to find a distraction. She didn't want to read fanfictions, it reminded her of the notebook's contents, and demon'sclaws wasn't online to offer her some advice. I'm doomed. I have to return this notebook to him on Monday, and I just know that he's going to kill me for having it in my possession. But what else is there to do? He's going to find out sometime.
She sighed in defeat, and went to bed early, hoping that things would look better in the morning.

InuYasha had stomped up into his room, but for once, didn't go onto his computer. Instead he flopped down on his bed. He looked at his calendar on the wall, which was illuminated by the hall light. Only two more days until the new moon.

The sun's bright rays pierced through the room where Kagome slept. But the room itself was in total chaos, and Kagome wasn't appreciating the beams of light at the moment.
“I'M GOING TO BE LATE!” she shrieked, while pulling on some jeans and a t-shirt. She had overslept, and now was hurrying through her morning routine. She grabbed the notebook quickly, and rushed out the door.
Because she was so late, she had to take her bike to get to school. It was old, beat-up, dirty, and, worse of all, bright pink, but it would get her to school before the end of first period, so she put up with it. Besides, she needed to return the notebook to InuYasha, and he was only in her first period class.
But when she got to her class she noticed that he wasn't there. She asked about his whereabouts, which got her a few strange looks from her classmates, but no one knew what had happened to him.
Kagome was desperate in finding him, because she knew that he couldn't yell at her while they were in class. She finally decided to go, after school was over, to his address, which was printed neatly on the inside of the front cover, and return it to him then.
Once again Kagome felt like the clocks were broken. The day seemed to speed up, as if someone had pressed a fast forward button on her day, and soon it was time for dismissal.
I'll go right after I drop my backpack off at home. But her mom had other ideas, so Kagome had to eat dinner before heading off to InuYasha's house.
She raced there on her bike, wanting to reach her destination before it became too dark to see. After making a few wrong turns, she got there with only a little daylight left.
Kagome went up to the house, and timidly rang the doorbell. A man's shoulders filled the doorway.
“Yes?” He asked, his cold voice sending shivers up and down Kagome's spine. “How may I help you, miss?” Kagome looked up at the man, who was incredibly tall. Like InuYasha, he had long hair, and golden eyes, but while InuYasha's hair was a bright silver, this man's hair was white, and was even longer. His golden eyes did not have the same warmth as InuYasha's, and they were narrow as well. Kagome felt utterly insignificant in his presence.
“I-is this where InuYasha Taiyoukai lives?” she stuttered. The man raised an eyebrow.
“Indeed it is. I am Sesshomaru Taiyoukai, his older half-brother. Why exactly have you come to visit my younger brother?”
“Um, well, InuYasha left something over at my house on Saturday, and I didn't see him at school, so I decided to come over and deliver it to him in person.” Kagome's neck was aching from tilting her head back to talk to him. Sesshomaru is more like a brother and a half.
“Please come inside. I'll show you to my brother's room.” Kagome entered nervously into the small house. He led her up the stairs to the first room on the right side of the hallway.
“InuYasha, get off of that box that you call a computer, you have a guest to see you.” There was a muffled bump, and then the door opened.
“Oh, it's you.” he said, when he saw Kagome. “Well, come in, I suppose.” Kagome clutched the notebook to her chest, as she warily entered the messy room. All the lights were turned off, and the only light in the whole room came from the computer on the desk. The bed had a jumble of clothes on it, and the closet had even more clothes spilling out of it. Crumbs and papers littered the desk, and the computer monitor, with it's straight frame, and clean screen, seemed to be the only orderly thing in the whole room.
InuYasha went over to the chair in front of the computer, and leaned back in it. Even the chair looked beat up, and there were what seemed to be claw marks on the arms. Claw marks? C'mon Kagome, get your head out of the clouds, how could there be claw marks.
“So, why did you come over?” InuYasha looked at her with both distrust and puzzlement in his eyes.
“Ya see, you kinda left this notebook over at my house. You probably dropped it on your way out.” InuYasha looked at her for a second, and then snatched the notebook from her outstretched hands.
“Is that all?' he snarled. He glared at her with barely controlled anger. If looks could kill, she would be a rotten corpse by now. But by now Kagome had gotten angry too, so she ignored his glare, and shot one of her own back.
“You could say thank you! I went to the trouble of getting that to you, and instead of being grateful, you snap at me like some animal! You jerk!” Kagome stomped to the door, but before slamming it she yelled “No wonder you don't have friends!” and ran down the stairs.
She was still running when she reached her bike, and was about to jump on, when she saw a certain silver pen near her tire. A certain silver pen with the initials IY on them.
Oh shit, I forgot to give him his pen! And it's not one of those cheap plastic one's too, It's probably an expensive fountain pen that cost ten bucks.
So Kagome found herself running into the house again. The sun had set by now, so she knew that she had to hurry, and then get home quickly, before her mom became worried about her. She ran right into InuYasha's room. The room was still dark, and the computer had shut down on it's own, so it was pitch black. Kagome flicked on the light switch, and saw InuYasha huddled on his bed. He was curled up in the covers, and he had the pillow pulled over his head.
“Um, Inu…yasha, are you awake?” She heard a grunt from the bed, but a small groan followed it. Kagome walked further into the room, hoping that he wasn't feeling sick or something.
“I forgot to give you your pen. Sorry for bothering you.” But Kagome got no response. She had a suspicion that he was ill, and walked over to the bed, to see if he was okay.
“Are you feeling well?” No response.
Kagome pulled down the covers. What she saw made her jump.
A black haired boy with light black/blue eyes sat up in InuYasha's bed.
“Shit, my head always hurts after transforming like that.”
Who is this? And what does he mean by `transforming'?
The boy looked a lot like InuYasha. In fact…he probably was InuYasha. Realizing this, Kagome's eyes widened considerably, and she stared at InuYasha in shock.
“Well, I guess you've figured out my secret.”
