Chapter 2-The Sixth Black Diamond

Midoriko was backed into a corner by the other 9, she realized that her life and all of mankind was in danger, desperately rationalizing for a way out, she used her purification spell. She chanted an incantation to steal their evil essence and turn them into dust. Kisho, quickly recognizing the spell, tried to attack hard, but it was useless and his attack was thrown back at him, injuring him significantly and weakening his effect. So he countered the spell with another but by doing so the spell had sucked all of his brothers and sisters into a single black diamond before the miko finished her spell. Suddenly realizing what had just happened, she turned to the entrance of the cavern, and simply walked away without a word.

Kisho now possessed his sibling's powers his to use as he pleased. He knew this wasn't the best solution, because they couldn't be released without an incantation which he didn't know nor which he knew how to finish, only the most experienced of spell casters such as powerful mikos knew the incantation. How Kisho loathed mortals. He walked back through the village, limping from his own attack when some villagers began backing away from him, except one but his vision blurred and he collapsed.
