Chapter 3-A not so happy lunch

“Inuyasha, Kagome over here.” waved Miroku. It was lunch time and Kagome was relieved to see Sango. Inuyasha and Kagome walked over to them. “How was class with each other? Did you guys set aside your differences like young adults should?”

“Shut up Miroku.” Inuyasha said sitting down. Kagome sat down as well.

“Lets drop it ok..” Kagome said and turned to Sango. “I found out that you and Miroku have all the same classes together.” Kagome wiggled her eyebrows up and down. Sango blushed.

“So, it doesn’t matter.” Kagome leaned over hand whispered in her ear.

“I know you have a huge crush on him too.”

“How you know!” she yelled.

“I didn’t, but now I do.” Kagome said laughing. Sango blushed even more.

“Whatever.”

“So Kagome, what brings you here?” Miroku said.

“I don’t know.”

“Oh.” the subject was completely dropped. Well it should have been if Inuyasha didn’t say anything.

“What do you mean you don’t know?” Inuyasha said.

“Does it matter!” she yelled.

“Yes!”

“Calm down you to. Lets drop it.” Sango put in.

‘So much for being friends.’ Miroku thought. They sat in silence and ate lunch. Just than, a girl wearing a denim mini skirt and a white halter top walked up to Inuyasha.

“Hey Inuyasha.” she said.

“What do you want Kikyo?” asked Inuyasha sighing. Kikyo leaned against his back.

“Well I thought we could get together-”

“No.” she frowned.

“Why not?”

“I don’t do sluts.” he said bored. Kagome chuckled softly. Kikyo glared.

“Mind your damn business bitch.” she spat out.

“You stupid mother-” Sango covered her mouth.

“What was that? Did you say something?” Kagome tried to say something, but Sango stepped on her foot. “Oh, I thought so.” she laughed and walked off. Kagome fumed.

“Why didn’t you let me say anything?” asked Kagome furiously.

“It’s best not to say anything.” asked Miroku. She turned to Inuyasha.

“Why didn’t you defend me?”

“I didn’t feel like it.”

“You didn’t feel like it?”

“Yep.” Inuyasha continued to eat his food.

‘And to think we are friends.’ she thought and sighed.

“I don’t now about u guys, but I’m not gonna let her get away with this.”

“And what do you plan on doing?” asked Sango. Kagome grinned.

“It’s real simple.” She scooped up food in her hand and looked at them. Inuyasha wore a grin on his face.

“FOOD FIGHT!!!!!!!!” he yelled as Kagome throw the food at Kikyo’s back. That’s when the war began. Everyone was throwing food from left to right. Kagome ducked under the table and laughed. Seconds later, Inuyasha joined her.

“What do you think?” she asked. He gave her a high five.

“Awesome.” he said grinning. Just than there was a screamed heard.

“MY BEST SKIRT!!!!!!” it was Kikyo having a breakdown.

“What skirt?” mumbled Kagome as she looked to see. Kikyo was covered in spaghetti from head to toe. Kagome covered her mouth with her hand to stop from laughing. Kikyo turned around and spotted her.

“YOU DID THIS TO ME!” she said pointing to her.

“Oh no.” Kagome ducked down.

“What is the matter?” asked Inuyasha as he watched all hell break loose around him.

“Kikyo is coming.”

“Let’s move out.” they began to crawl to the exit.

“ENOUGH!!!!!” everyone paused to see who yelled. It was the principal. “What in Kami;s name do you think you are doing? I want this mess cleaned up NOW.” that said, he left without a second glance. Inuyasha and Kagome got up off the floor. They were the only ones that were clean of food.

“Kagome Higurashi and Inuyasha Takahashi, go to the principal’s office now.” they turned around and found a teacher staring at them.

“What did we do?” asked Inuyasha.

“You two started this mess.”

“You have no proof.” he said crossing his arms.

“You two are the only ones cleaned. Now go!”

“Well damn.” Kagome mumbled as the left.

“This sucks big time.”

“I know. Naraku is not going to me happy.”

“Who’s Naraku?” asked Inuyasha.

“A person.” she began to walk faster.

“What person?” he caught up to her.

“Just a person.”

“He can’t be if you’re thinking about him. Is he your father?” Kagome stopped and turned to Inuyasha.

“He is NOT my father. NEVER say that again!” she turned and continued walking.

“Ok…I never said he was, but whatever.” they reached the main office and went in.

“Sit down. The principal will see you shortly.” they sat in silence.

‘This has turned out to be a horrible day. I have a feeling it’s only going to get worst.’ she thought as she waited for her punishment.
