A night and a day went by. Until they came across an obstacle of sorts. Kagome stopped suddenly and stood incredibly still.

 

“I can sense the presence of shikon shards.”

 

All of a sudden she was raised up into the air by her wrists. Akyta's sensitive eyes saw the thin hair all around them and on Kagome's wrists.

 

“Inuyasha I see hair around us. What does it mean? What's going on?”

 

“This can only mean one thing. The yura of the demon hair.”

 

Kagome started to struggle. “Inuyasha we defeated her.”

 

“Well Kagome explain the hair! Who else could it be?”

 

At that moment Miroku looked up and pointed, “Oh look you guys maybe that beautiful lady would help us.”

 

They all followed his gaze and there was a young lady slowly flapping her wings watching them with a bored expression on her face.

 

Kagome asked, “Inuyasha it's her. She's back!”

 

“No Kagome she didn't have wings remember. But this woman does have quite a few similarities with the yura though.”

 

The woman spread her fingers a little and Kagome screamed with pain as the hair around her wrists tightened and pulled her in opposite directions.

The woman had short black hair and a fringe cut jus above the eye, a long section covering just half of one eye, two brown ears poked through behind a red hair band. Her eyes were hazel green, a fiery red smirk graced her lips. She had a tall slender figure and long graceful legs. She had delicate hands and wrists. Her wings flapped slowly behind her, they were tall and bat like. Her fangs chewed on her bottom lip for a bit before she spoke, “I look like the yura of the demon hair eh? Well maybe that's because she was my mother. Which YOU!” she clenched her fist which manipulated the hair to cause Kagome further agony. “Yes you horrible human child. You destroyed her. And then if that wasn't enough you went after the bat colony of my father. My name is actually Amaya. Not not Yura of the demon hair. My dear mother.” She dropped her hands by her sides which made Kagome crash to the floor.

 

Kagome started to whine and moan, “Inuyasha do something now!” she stamped her foot in annoyance. But Inuyasha just stood there wide eyed staring at their new opponent. Miroku and Sango sprang into action.

 

“Come on Kirara” Sango called to her little companion. In a flash of fire the cute little cat demon grew into a more intimidating fighting machine. They headed towards Amaya ready to engage in full frontal battle. Amaya using her mothers hair controlling power and in a matter of seconds Sango, Miroku and Kirara were tied up and trapped.

Akyta reached for her weapons. “Let them go now…or else!” she said between clenched teeth.

 

Amaya laughed maliciously, then flew down stole the shikon shards off Kagome and was gone. Her laughter carried in the wind. Kagome stomped her foot again, “Inuyasha what happened? Why did you just stand there?”

 

Inuyasha shook his head as if coming out of a daydream. “Sorry what was you saying?”

 

Kagome's face twisted with rage, “SIT! SIT! SIT! I can't believe you! You just stood there staring! Urgh!”

 

Her face set she stormed off. The group followed a little gap behind. And Inuyasha in a pile on the floor. Akyta's ears twitched constantly turning this way and that on constant alert. She sniffed the air a bit and froze the demon was still near by. She went other to her new found sibling, “Inuyasha you know she is still around don't you.”

 

He looked up at her, “Course I do.” He went off into another daydream.

 

“What shall we do about her?” Akyta questioned.

 

“We should just keep on going until she shows herself I guess.”

 

Akyta helped him up and they followed the group both on the look out for this mischievous new enemy.
