When Akyta opened her eyes she saw a little girl in front of her. The girl spoke, “Hi! My name is Rin. I put bandages on your wounds. Oh and your really pretty. I like your big green eyes. What's your name?”

Akyta smiled weakly and then closed her eyes. She needed to rest. Without rest she would surely die. She heard the girl fidgeting about around her. How can a little girl survive the wild? She pondered.

After a couple of days Akyta's strength was coming back slowly. She and the little girl became close. They played games, watched spiders make webs and enjoyed each others company. Akyta saw her past self in the little girl. And made a promise to herself that this girl would not suffer like she did.

 

 

Meanwhile not so far away Jaken was in a panic. Rin had run off again.

 

“She said she was going to look at the flowers and then she was gone.” He said this to no one in particular. He ran about flapping his arms, “Sesshoumaru would not be happy about this one bit.” What would he say to him? Rin had been gone for days. He ran over to Ah and Un, “Come now we must find her NOW!” he started tugging at the creature's reigns.

 

“Jaken where is Rin?”

 

Jaken slowly twitched his head around to see the owner of the voice. It was Sesshoumaru.

 

“Oh Sesshoumarou-sama have mercy but Rin has been missing for days, I've been calling her and right now I was jus going to-”

 

Sesshoumaru went away was walking away.

 

“Wait for me Sesshoumaru-sama.” Jaken hurriedly followed him.

 

Sesshoumaru went away for a while to find Akyta. He didn't like the fact that she was looking for him, like he was being hunted like some wild animal. And he was curious about what would occur when he was found. Would she want to kill him? Talk to him? Be in his company? He reckoned it was going to be the first option. He walked on into the forest when the sound of laughing came to his ears. He changed direction and headed towards it. He recognised one of the giggles as Rin. When he reached the edge of the clearing where the sound was coming from, a surprise greeted his eyes. There stood a beautiful cat demon giggling away while Rin ran about trying to catch her swishing tail. Surely this wasn't the same runt of a girl he left years ago. All of a sudden the woman stopped laughing and stepped in front of Rin protectively. Sesshoumaru knew that was his cue to show himself, seeing that she already figured he was there.

Akyta immediately bared her fangs and flexed her claws, “YOU!” she spat.

Sesshoumaru smirked, “You've been tracking me. What do you want?” He leaned on a tree arms folded.

 

“You left me by myself for all that time while I was so little, so young. You're a monster! I'll end you!” Akyta, quick as a flash grabbed her weapons she aimed for his left eye the weapon flew fast and straight. Sesshoumaru easily dodged it, Akyta knew this would happen due to her making the move so obvious, and so she shot her next aim to his right. The weapon hit him straight in his right cheek. The weapon swung round and Akyta caught it with ease. Sesshoumaru stood completely shocked that she was able to touch him. Blood slowly trickled out the wound.

At this point Rin jumped between them, “Akyta don't hurt him. Sesshoumaru looks after me. He is a good person.”

Akyta didn't know what to do. Could what the little girl said be true? Surely not. But then again people can change. She looked at Sesshoumaru then the girl. All those years alone, rage began to build up inside of her, she didn't know what to do/ she hissed in annoyance raised her claws and ran towards Sesshoumaru with full intention of going through with her revenge.
