Chapter 4 “I'm sorry”

 

 

“AHH,” she screamed, “Get out, get out, GET OUT!” Kagome was about to hide herself under the water when a hand suddenly grabbed her hair and yanked her out of the water. She tried to cover herself but something very fluffy wrapped around her hands and held them behind her back. An arm wrapped around her waist and the hand that was in her hair let go, only reappear by grasping her neck.

“Don't ever raise your voice to me again girl, or you will die slowly and painfully.” Sesshomaru whispered threateningly. “Do you understand me?”

Kagome could only give a slight nod. He then suddenly let go of her. But what happened next was not something Lord Sesshomaru expected. Kagome had landed hard on her arm and let out a cry of pain.

 

 

Kagome woke up, feeling strong hands on her arm. “Get away from me you creep,” she screamed. She started to yank her arm away from the lord, but stopped when a sharp pain exploded in it. She quickly turned around and buried her face into a pillow to scream. `What the hell happened to my arm,' she thought to herself clenching her teeth, `Why does my arm hurt?'

The hands returned themselves to her and gently grasped her shoulders. She was turned around onto her back. What she heard next made her wonderer about the cold-hearted demon lord.

“I'm sorry,” the words came out clear as a bell from his mouth. “I am sorry for the way I treated you Kagome.” Sesshomaru looked her straight in the eye and Kagome could not believe what she saw in his.

Concern that's what she could see. Sesshomaru was showing her a form of an emotion. `Wait a minute.' “You know my name?”

He leaned in closer to her face so there noses where almost touching. He started whispering very softly. So softly, she could hardly hear him but enough that she could feel his breath against her face. “Why would I not know your name, Kagome?”

He then kissed her.
