Chapter 3 Xian

 

 

Kagome felt a hand on her shoulder gently shaking her from her fevered dreams. “Oh I don't want to wake up, just let me die in peace Sesshomaru.” But the voice she heard was not that of the demon lord.

“Kagome-san.” It was that of a woman. “Please wake up so I can help you.” Slowly Kagome opened her eyes to find an inu demon smiling down at her. The demon had hair and eyes just like Inuyasha and was dressed in a light brown Kimono, meaning that she had to be a servant.

“Who are you?” Kagome said as she started sitting up, it was then that she noticed that her school uniform was removed and she was now dressed in a silk blue sleeping kimono. A small gasp escaped her lips at the sight of the room. It was huge, four times the size of her own room and was beautifully furnished with a large wardrobe and mirror. There was also a large fire place off to the side.

“Kagome-san, my name is Xian and I will be your personal servant while you stay here.” Xian said regaining Kagome's attention. “Sesshomaru said that you were sick and was worried that you would not survive the night, so he sent me here to check on you.”

Kagome could not believe what Xian had just said, Sesshomaru had been worried about her, but he was probably just worried that he would not be able to get the Tetsiga if she died. But she might as well make the best of the situation.

“Would you like something to eat Kagome-san?”

“Actually, do you think I could have a bath,” Kagome asked in a timed voice. “I feel much better and I think a bath would help me some?”

“Sure Kagome-san just follow me.” Kagome followed Xian outside her room and down the hall. They eventually came to another room and went inside to find a giant hot spring.

“Kagome-san,” Xian said gaining Kagome's attention, “There are bathing things near the spring, I will leave you be and come back in half an hour.” Xian left the room leaving Kagome by herself.

Kagome undressed and slid in the pool, sighing when the warm water hit her skin. Just as she was starting to relax the door opened up again. Figuring it was Xian she turned around, but what she saw wasn't Xian, but Sesshomaru.
