Chapter 4:Saving Kagome

Green blurs passed by Inuyasha as he whizzed through the forest.Inuyasha,by now,had passed Kirara with the others.Inuyasha kept up his pace and glanced down to Kagome's body.The body,in which,was growing colder,and the life in Kagome's face slowly draining out. Her intakes of breaths were ragged and heavily labored.Inuysaha looked upon her with sad eyes and held her closer to his chest.I'm so sorry Kagome...sorry that I couldn't protect you from Naraku.I'll never let you get hurt like that again...Never again.Inuyasha silently vowed in his mind as he looked up to see that the forest was getting less and less dense.Inuyasha smirked in happiness and thought,Good.That means that there's a clearing nearby.So now-But his thoughts were cut off when he suddenly caught the scent of wolves.Inuyasha emitted a low growl from deep within his throat.Kouga...Inuyasha thought in anger as he continued his journey to get through the woods.How did that bastard get up so damn fast!I thought that damn wolf was blown away from our last attack!Damn it!He must of woken up already!Inuyasha thought again as he tightened his hold on Kagome's body and picked up his pace.I won't let him get you Kagome.I WON'T!Inuyasha thought in determination as he had finally made it out of the forest.
Inuyasha smirked again and started to run faster,and it was easier now because he didn't have to worry about having to dodge trees and such.But just when he thought that he was getting the upper hand on Kouga,a twister passed by him and he skidded to a stop,spraying dirt everywhere.He growled when he saw Kouga walk out of the twister and up to him.
"Kouga,you damn flea bitten wolf!Get outta my way or I'll chop you down!"Inuyasha growled waringly at him as held Kagome tighter still to his red clad chest.
"No way,mutt-face!I came here to get MY woman!And I'LL be the one to take her to that old hag's village!Not YOU!"Kouga barked to him as he tried to reach out for Kagome.
Inuyasha just growled in response.Inuyasha took a step back,away from Kouga's reach.Inuyasha was about to lay Kagome down so he could kill Kouga when he picked up some new scents.Inuyasha's eyes widened and thought,Demons!Millions of them!Coming our way!
"Hey,mutt,did you just pick up that scent?"Kouga asked him as he got into battle stance.
"Yeah...and by the stench of it,millions of them are coming."Inuyasha replied back to him with a growl.
"Yeah.Millions of the little bastards."Kouga told them but then had a thought."What are you gonna do about Kagome?You can't protect her AND fight at the same time!"Kouga told him.
Inuyasha's eyes widened at the outburst."DAMN IT!You're right!What the hell am I supposed to do?"Inuyasha said as he looked down to Kagome's pale face,the face that was growing paler by the minute."And I gotta get her to Kaede's hut before she dies!"Inuyasha said with a growl as he was confused on what to do.
"Why don't you let me take care of it,mutt-face?I can handle those puny demons on my own."Kouga told him with cockiness in his voice.
"Damn.I would really hate to,but Kagome has to get to the hut."Inuyasha told him,then took off with Kagome in his arms.
Kouga followed them with his icy blue eyes until he could see them no longer.Kouga then turned his focus back to the approaching demons and got into a battle stance.Kagome...please be okay.Was Kouga's thought as the demons came closer and closer to him.He flexed out his claws and set his feet apart,ready for battle.
The demons rushed at him,their screams and horrid scent filled the air.Kouga stood in stance,waiting for the right moment,and attacked.
"CLAW ATTACK!"And with the first few demons dead,the battle between Kouga and the demons was on.

Meanwhile with Sango and Miroku,they tried to catch up to Inuyasha,but Kirara's speed was no where near Inuyasha's.So,unfortunately, they would have to wait a little while to see their friend.The journey on Kirara was going to be long,despite the fact that she was going at full speed,and boring.So Sango decided to brew up a conversation.
"So...Miroku...hey."Sango said nervously,not knowing what to say to him.
"Hello Sango.Do you need something?"Miroku aked her,but a perverted grin came upon his face.Unfortunately,for Miroku anyway, Sango caught it and slapped him immediately,enraged.
"PERVERT!"Echoed throughout the lands,followed by a very loud 'OW SANGO!DON'T BE RASH!'
Sango sat with her arms crossed in frustration,her face beet red with anger,and a VERY annoyed look on her face.Behind her,lay poor Miroku with a bright,vived red handmark on his right cheek,courtesy(sp?)of Sango.
Shippo sighed by Sango's side and said,"Idiot."
"That he is Shippo.That he is."Sango told Shippo and gave Miroku a dirty look.
Miroku just sat up quickly and scratched the back of his head nervously."What?Some things never change!"Miroku told him,trying to reason with Sango.
"Humph!And unfortunately YOU'RE one of them!"Sango said in a huff and gave him another dirty look.
"Yep.That's Miroku for you."Shippo said in total agreement.
Kirara growled her agreement and continued forward to Kaede's village.
Miroku just sighed heavily and thought Why isn't anyone on my side?And looked to sky,trying to find his answers.

With Kouga,things weren't really looking up.No matter how many he killed,yet more demons came!It was infuriating!So he finally decided to 'ask' them what they wanted.He had finished off yet another wave of demons and he was starting to tire.So he decided to just sit down and wait for them to come.He sat and started to try and rebuild some of his energy.But he didn't have long to rebuild his energy for the new wave of notorious demons had arrived.Kouga sighed and stood,ready to question them.
The demons came at him,but Kouga made no move to move from his spot.They got angry and one of them decided to tell him to move it or die.
"You!Wolf!Move out of our way!"An ugly looking ogre said in a low and deep voice.
"No way.Not until you'll tell me what you want!"Kouga told them as he inspected his claws in a bored looking way.
The ogre growled but decided to tell him."Fine.We're looking for the girl who possesses the sacred jewel jewel!NOW MOVE!"The ogre told him in a demanding and angry voice.
Kouga stood there frozen to the spot.His icy blue eyes widened and thought,Kagome!
"DIDN'T YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID YOU DAMN WOLF!MOVE!"The ogre yelled at him in an impatient voice.
Kouga was snapped out of his thoughts when the ogre yelled.He smiled cockily and told him,"No can do."And started to attack them.In his mind,he sent out for Ginta and Hakakku to go and get Sesshomaru.
(Okay,this is Kouga's thoughts this is 'Ginta's thoughts' and this is "Hakakku's thoughts")
Ginta,Hakakku!Are you guys there!
At Kouga's cave,Ginta and Hakakku nearly jumped out of their furs when they heard Kouga's voice echo in their minds.
'"Boss!Is that you!'"Both of them asked him.
Yeah,it's me!But I need you two do something!
'Oh,okay Kouga...but why can't you do it?You'd probably get there faster since you still have the jewel shards!'
I'm preoccupied with fighting millions of demons,okay!Now,will you do what I ask?
"Of course Kouga.What do ya need us to do?"
I want both of you to go to the Western Lands to get Sesshomaru.
'WHAT!WHY!'
Look,it's complicated,okay?Just tell him that I sent you and that it invovles the safety of Kagome!I'll send you a mental image of where I am so he could see it when he probes your minds!
"Well...okay boss..."
'We DO live outside the Western Lands..'
GET GOING NOW!
'Right!'
"We're on it!"
And with that,Kouga broke off the mind connection and went back to fighting.I hope I can count on you two...Kouga thought as he got ready to kill a snake demon that had tried to sneak up behind him.

With Sesshomaru,he was going through some important scrolls when a maid knocked on his door.Sesshomaru sighed lightly and said in his deep(and oh so sexy)voice:
"Enter,Kazumi."
The door opened slightly to reveal a beautiful orange and black tiger demon.After she bowed deeply to Sesshomaru,she was wringing her paws together and her yellow eyes nervously stayed on the carpet.
Sesshomaru eventually got irriated and said,"Kazumi,if you do not have anything of importance to tell me,then leave.I am currently very busy with these scrolls,as you can see."
"Well...milord...there have been reports of two strange and unfamiliar wolf demons heading our way."Kazumi said nervously to Sesshomaru and continued to wring her hands together.
"Hmm...wolf demons.I shall see to them myself,Kazumi.You are dismissed."Kazumi bowed again deeply and left him.
Sesshomaru sighed and went out to his balcony.He stood on the ledge,and with his super speed,was standing before Ginta and Hakakku.
Surprised,both screamed,but stopped when they recieved an evil glare from Sesshomaru.Both relizing who they were standing before, they bowed down deeply,their noses almost touching the ground.Then they stood straight and waited for Sesshomaru to talk,which didn't take long.
"What are you two doing on this Sesshomaru's lands?"Sesshomaru demanded them in his usual cold and emotionless voice.
"W-We're...K-Kouga...sent us to t-tell y-y-you..."Ginta tried to tell him,but stuttered instead and couldn't finish his sentence.
"What Ginta is trying to tell you is,Kouga sent us because it involves the safety of Kagome."Hakakku told Sesshomaru instead.
"Alright.Where is Kouga,then?"Sesshomaru asked him with demand in his voice.If that wolf has done anything that could put Kagome's life in danger,I,Sesshomaru,will kill him myself.
"Kouga just said that you would have to probe our minds to find out where he is."Hakakku told him again.
Sesshomaru nodded and silence fell over them and Sesshomaru finally found their minds.What Seshomaru found was a field that he used to like to go to when he was little.Sesshomaru stopped probbing their minds and they were back to real life.
"D-Did you fi-find out where h-he is?"Ginta asked Sesshomaru nervously.
His reply was a short nod of his head."You are dismissed now."Sesshomaru said coldly and used his super speed again to go back to his castle.
Ginta and Hakakku just stared after him.Since he was gone,they both took a deep breath and...
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"they both screamed and started to run as fast as they could back to the cave.They both screamed all the time while they were running and every demon just looked at them like they were crazy.Hey!It wasn't THEIR falt they were scared both to death by Sesshomaru!

It didn't take Sesshomaru long to reach his castle.When he finally reached it,he called out for Jaken.The little imp scurried out of the castle front door as fast as he could,occasionally tripping over his feet,and ran to his side.The imp was out of breath but bowed deeply to his lord.
"Jaken,I will be taking care of some buisness.Take care of Rin while I am currently gone.If you fail to do your job,you know your consequences."Sesshomaru said coldly as Jaken's eyes filled with fear.
"Y-Yes,m-milord!I-I will pr-protect her with m-my l-l-life!"Jaken stuttered out to him.
Sesshomaru nodded and was off to go find Kouga.

Meanwhile with Inuyasha and Kagome,Inuyasha was starting to pick up the scent of a bear demon.Inuyasha growled and came to a stop. He looked down to Kagome's pale face and saw that if he didn't get her to Kaede's village soon,he would forever lose her.But Inuyasha knew that he would have to defeat the bear demon sooner or later,and Inuyasha chose sooner.So Inuyasha layed gently layed her on a soft patch of grass and put his hand on the hilt of Tetsusaiga.Inuyasha's ears twitched slightly as he heard trees falling nearby and his nose twitched at the same time,picking up the scent of the demon.It didn't take long for the bear demon to get there and Inuyasha pulled out his Tetsusaiga,the sword immediately transforming into its bigger form.
When the bear demon entered Inuyasha's sight,he saw that it's eyes were glowing red with malice and blood lust.It's mouth was overfilled with saliva and was slowly dripping to the ground.It's claws were posed and ready,spotted with blood.Inuyasha's eyes narrowed when he saw the blood on it's claws.Damn!I guess it has already attacked a few villages!DAMN IT!I can't let it get to Kaede's village OR Kagome!Inuyasha thought in anger as he readied the Tetsusaiga.
The bear demon growled in anger.It's red eyes lit up with a new found blood lust and lifted it's claw.Then,like lighting,the bear struck. Inuyasha,however,was too fast and easily dodged.Inuyasha smirked and jumped in the air,right above the bear demon's head.
"Hey ugly!Up here!"Inuyasha shouted to the bear demon to catch it's attention.
And it worked.The bear demon looked up to see Inuyasha hovering above it's head.It growled again and was about to strike him. Inuyasha just smirked again and brought down the Tetsusaiga and yelled,"WIND SCAR!"
Four bright golden lights errupted from the blade and went straight for the bear demon.When they met,it destroyed the bear demon in an instant.The bear screamed in agony as it was reduced to nothing but grey ashes.
Inuyasha smirked again as he landed on the ground.Well,that was easier than I expected.Inuyasha thought in victory as he sheathed his sword,the sword returning back to it's normal form.Inuyasha wasted no time in rushing back to Kagome's side.But when he reached her, he was beyond shocked at what he saw.NOOO!

Meanwhile with Sesshomaru and Kouga,they were fighting their hardest to kill all the demons that came their way.They were facing every type of demon imaginable and it seemed as if they would never stop coming.Kouga's claws were soaked in blood and Tokijin was using all of its power.
"Hey,Sesshomaru,why don't you use..."Kouga said as he punched off a flying eye demon."That attack you used on Naraku?"
"Wolf,I do not know..."Sesshomaru said as he slashed another demon."How to use it."
Kouga shrugged and continued on battling the demons that were coming this way.He knew that this wasn't good.He may be demon,but he did tire.He would not be able to keep this up for long.He knew he needed help,but his pride would not call his fellow brothern to help him.
Sesshomaru was the same.He may be an all powerful demon lord,but he too,did get tired.Of course,he wouldn't show it,but his powers would.Unfortunately,his pride would DEFINATELY not let him ask for help.(*sigh*Men and their stupid pride)
But when they saw a giant boomerang sailing through the air with dangerous speeds and kill over half the demons,they looked up to see Kirara with the others riding on the demon cat.
Sango smiled as she caught her Hiraikotsu in her right hand.She smiled again as she threw her Hiraikotsu and destroyed the other half of that wave of demons.Once they were gone,Kirara ascended down towards the ground with a growl and landed on her feet.Sango jumped off along with Miroku and ran over to the exhausted demons.
"Kouga!Lord Sesshomaru..."Sango told him with a bow.
Sesshomaru nodded and looked to Miroku.
Miroku smiled and too bowed along with Sango.Sesshomaru nodded again and they both straightened their backs to where they were standing again.
"Oh.Hey Sango.Miroku."Kouga told them as they walked over to them.
"Hey Kouga.Need any help?"Miroku asked him.
"No.We were doing fine on our own."Kouga said in a huff as he looked away and closed his eyes.
"Yeah...sure you were."Shippo said to Kouga as he rested his body on Kirara's head.
Kouga just glared at Shippo in turn.Shippo stuck out his tounge at him in turn.Kouga stuck his tounge out at him too and made funny faces at Shippo.
"Kouga!Shippo!Stop acting like children!"Sango told them as she got between them.
"Sango!I am a child!"Shippo said as he hopped onto Sango's shoulder.
"You're right Shippo.You are a child."Sango said to him as she smiled fondly."But's what's your excuse?"Sango asked Kouga as she glared at him.
Kouga just stayed silent,leaving the question to hang in the air.Sango smirked and said,"That's what I thought."
Sesshomaru almost smiled at this.Well,almost.Hmmm...it seems that the demon slayer has stumped the wolf.How pathetic. Sesshomaru thought as he turned to Miroku and Sango.
"Monk,Slayer,before you came,an endless amount demons were coming towards us.Now it has stopped.It is peculiar."Sesshomaru said as he looked to the direction from where the demons had been coming from."Wolf,I'm sure you have noticed it also."
Kouga nodded and also turned to look in the direction from where the demons had come."I don't like this.This can't be good."Kouga said in barely above a whisper,but Sesshomaru easily caught it.
"I agree.There must be some reason as to why they would stop coming."Sesshomaru told him quietly as they watched the sun start to sink slowly sink lower into the sky.
A silence had come over them,the gentle breeze teasing the tips of their hair.The birds were singing off in the near distance.It truly was a peaceful scene until Miroku broke it.
"Ah...the sun is starting to set.Shouldn't we be on our way to go see Kagome?"Miroku said as everyone looked at him.
Kouga's eyes widened in surprise at Miroku's words."SHIT!IT WAS NICE SEEIN' YA!BUT I GOTTA GO!"Kouga said in a hurry as his twister formed around him and he ran off in the direction of Kaede's village.
Sango gasped and pulled Miroku by his left arm to Kirara.Both jumped on Kirara's back and Kirara was once again racing to Kaede's village in no time.
Sesshomaru gazed on in the direction and decided to follow them as well...in a more civilized manner,of course.So Sesshomaru summoned his demon cloud and was on his way to see 'his little sister.'The sunset followed behind all of them as the sky was painted various shades of red,orange,yellow,and pink.It truly was a tranquil scene.
But somewhere unknown,a person sat in their room and laughed evilly.The person had saw everything through Kanna's magical mirror. The laugh echoed throughout the hallways as the unknown person gazed into the mirror.Enjoy your peace now,fools.For you will not have it for long.The unknown person thought as they laughed again.You will soon be in my grasp.

(Okay,this is Kouga's thoughts this is 'Ginta's thoughts' and this is "Hakakku's thoughts")
Ginta,Hakakku!Are you guys there!
At Kouga's cave,Ginta and Hakakku nearly jumped out of their furs when they heard Kouga's voice echo in their minds.
'"Boss!Is that you!'"Both of them asked him.
Yeah,it's me!But I need you two do something!
'Oh,okay Kouga...but why can't you do it?You'd probably get there faster since you still have the jewel shards!'
I'm preoccupied with fighting millions of demons,okay!Now,will you do what I ask?
"Of course Kouga.What do ya need us to do?"
I want both of you to go to the Western Lands to get Sesshomaru.
'WHAT!WHY!'
Look,it's complicated,okay?Just tell him that I sent you and that it invovles the safety of Kagome!I'll send you a mental image of where I am so he could see it when he probes your minds!
"Well...okay boss..."
'We DO live outside the Western Lands..'
GET GOING NOW!
'Right!'
"We're on it!"
And with that,Kouga broke off the mind connection and went back to fighting.I hope I can count on you two...Kouga thought as he got ready to kill a snake demon that had tried to sneak up behind him.

With Sesshomaru,he was going through some important scrolls when a maid knocked on his door.Sesshomaru sighed lightly and said in his deep(and oh so sexy)voice:
"Enter,Kazumi."
The door opened slightly to reveal a beautiful orange and black tiger demon.After she bowed deeply to Sesshomaru,she was wringing her paws together and her yellow eyes nervously stayed on the carpet.
Sesshomaru eventually got irriated and said,"Kazumi,if you do not have anything of importance to tell me,then leave.I am currently very busy with these scrolls,as you can see."
"Well...milord...there have been reports of two strange and unfamiliar wolf demons heading our way."Kazumi said nervously to Sesshomaru and continued to wring her hands together.
"Hmm...wolf demons.I shall see to them myself,Kazumi.You are dismissed."Kazumi bowed again deeply and left him.
Sesshomaru sighed and went out to his balcony.He stood on the ledge,and with his super speed,was standing before Ginta and Hakakku.
Surprised,both screamed,but stopped when they recieved an evil glare from Sesshomaru.Both relizing who they were standing before, they bowed down deeply,their noses almost touching the ground.Then they stood straight and waited for Sesshomaru to talk,which didn't take long.
"What are you two doing on this Sesshomaru's lands?"Sesshomaru demanded them in his usual cold and emotionless voice.
"W-We're...K-Kouga...sent us to t-tell y-y-you..."Ginta tried to tell him,but stuttered instead and couldn't finish his sentence.
"What Ginta is trying to tell you is,Kouga sent us because it involves the safety of Kagome."Hakakku told Sesshomaru instead.
"Alright.Where is Kouga,then?"Sesshomaru asked him with demand in his voice.If that wolf has done anything that could put Kagome's life in danger,I,Sesshomaru,will kill him myself.
"Kouga just said that you would have to probe our minds to find out where he is."Hakakku told him again.
Sesshomaru nodded and silence fell over them and Sesshomaru finally found their minds.What Seshomaru found was a field that he used to like to go to when he was little.Sesshomaru stopped probbing their minds and they were back to real life.
"D-Did you fi-find out where h-he is?"Ginta asked Sesshomaru nervously.
His reply was a short nod of his head."You are dismissed now."Sesshomaru said coldly and used his super speed again to go back to his castle.
Ginta and Hakakku just stared after him.Since he was gone,they both took a deep breath and...
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"they both screamed and started to run as fast as they could back to the cave.They both screamed all the time while they were running and every demon just looked at them like they were crazy.Hey!It wasn't THEIR falt they were scared both to death by Sesshomaru!

It didn't take Sesshomaru long to reach his castle.When he finally reached it,he called out for Jaken.The little imp scurried out of the castle front door as fast as he could,occasionally tripping over his feet,and ran to his side.The imp was out of breath but bowed deeply to his lord.
"Jaken,I will be taking care of some buisness.Take care of Rin while I am currently gone.If you fail to do your job,you know your consequences."Sesshomaru said coldly as Jaken's eyes filled with fear.
"Y-Yes,m-milord!I-I will pr-protect her with m-my l-l-life!"Jaken stuttered out to him.
Sesshomaru nodded and was off to go find Kouga.

Meanwhile with Inuyasha and Kagome,Inuyasha was starting to pick up the scent of a bear demon.Inuyasha growled and came to a stop. He looked down to Kagome's pale face and saw that if he didn't get her to Kaede's village soon,he would forever lose her.But Inuyasha knew that he would have to defeat the bear demon sooner or later,and Inuyasha chose sooner.So Inuyasha layed gently layed her on a soft patch of grass and put his hand on the hilt of Tetsusaiga.Inuyasha's ears twitched slightly as he heard trees falling nearby and his nose twitched at the same time,picking up the scent of the demon.It didn't take long for the bear demon to get there and Inuyasha pulled out his Tetsusaiga,the sword immediately transforming into its bigger form.
When the bear demon entered Inuyasha's sight,he saw that it's eyes were glowing red with malice and blood lust.It's mouth was overfilled with saliva and was slowly dripping to the ground.It's claws were posed and ready,spotted with blood.Inuyasha's eyes narrowed when he saw the blood on it's claws.Damn!I guess it has already attacked a few villages!DAMN IT!I can't let it get to Kaede's village OR Kagome!Inuyasha thought in anger as he readied the Tetsusaiga.
The bear demon growled in anger.It's red eyes lit up with a new found blood lust and lifted it's claw.Then,like lighting,the bear struck. Inuyasha,however,was too fast and easily dodged.Inuyasha smirked and jumped in the air,right above the bear demon's head.
"Hey ugly!Up here!"Inuyasha shouted to the bear demon to catch it's attention.
And it worked.The bear demon looked up to see Inuyasha hovering above it's head.It growled again and was about to strike him. Inuyasha just smirked again and brought down the Tetsusaiga and yelled,"WIND SCAR!"
Four bright golden lights errupted from the blade and went straight for the bear demon.When they met,it destroyed the bear demon in an instant.The bear screamed in agony as it was reduced to nothing but grey ashes.
Inuyasha smirked again as he landed on the ground.Well,that was easier than I expected.Inuyasha thought in victory as he sheathed his sword,the sword returning back to it's normal form.Inuyasha wasted no time in rushing back to Kagome's side.But when he reached her, he was beyond shocked at what he saw.NOOO!

Meanwhile with Sesshomaru and Kouga,they were fighting their hardest to kill all the demons that came their way.They were facing every type of demon imaginable and it seemed as if they would never stop coming.Kouga's claws were soaked in blood and Tokijin was using all of its power.
"Hey,Sesshomaru,why don't you use..."Kouga said as he punched off a flying eye demon."That attack you used on Naraku?"
"Wolf,I do not know..."Sesshomaru said as he slashed another demon."How to use it."
Kouga shrugged and continued on battling the demons that were coming this way.He knew that this wasn't good.He may be demon,but he did tire.He would not be able to keep this up for long.He knew he needed help,but his pride would not call his fellow brothern to help him.
Sesshomaru was the same.He may be an all powerful demon lord,but he too,did get tired.Of course,he wouldn't show it,but his powers would.Unfortunately,his pride would DEFINATELY not let him ask for help.(*sigh*Men and their stupid pride)
But when they saw a giant boomerang sailing through the air with dangerous speeds and kill over half the demons,they looked up to see Kirara with the others riding on the demon cat.
Sango smiled as she caught her Hiraikotsu in her right hand.She smiled again as she threw her Hiraikotsu and destroyed the other half of that wave of demons.Once they were gone,Kirara ascended down towards the ground with a growl and landed on her feet.Sango jumped off along with Miroku and ran over to the exhausted demons.
"Kouga!Lord Sesshomaru..."Sango told him with a bow.
Sesshomaru nodded and looked to Miroku.
Miroku smiled and too bowed along with Sango.Sesshomaru nodded again and they both straightened their backs to where they were standing again.
"Oh.Hey Sango.Miroku."Kouga told them as they walked over to them.
"Hey Kouga.Need any help?"Miroku asked him.
"No.We were doing fine on our own."Kouga said in a huff as he looked away and closed his eyes.
"Yeah...sure you were."Shippo said to Kouga as he rested his body on Kirara's head.
Kouga just glared at Shippo in turn.Shippo stuck out his tounge at him in turn.Kouga stuck his tounge out at him too and made funny faces at Shippo.
"Kouga!Shippo!Stop acting like children!"Sango told them as she got between them.
"Sango!I am a child!"Shippo said as he hopped onto Sango's shoulder.
"You're right Shippo.You are a child."Sango said to him as she smiled fondly."But's what's your excuse?"Sango asked Kouga as she glared at him.
Kouga just stayed silent,leaving the question to hang in the air.Sango smirked and said,"That's what I thought."
Sesshomaru almost smiled at this.Well,almost.Hmmm...it seems that the demon slayer has stumped the wolf.How pathetic. Sesshomaru thought as he turned to Miroku and Sango.
"Monk,Slayer,before you came,an endless amount demons were coming towards us.Now it has stopped.It is peculiar."Sesshomaru said as he looked to the direction from where the demons had been coming from."Wolf,I'm sure you have noticed it also."
Kouga nodded and also turned to look in the direction from where the demons had come."I don't like this.This can't be good."Kouga said in barely above a whisper,but Sesshomaru easily caught it.
"I agree.There must be some reason as to why they would stop coming."Sesshomaru told him quietly as they watched the sun start to sink slowly sink lower into the sky.
A silence had come over them,the gentle breeze teasing the tips of their hair.The birds were singing off in the near distance.It truly was a peaceful scene until Miroku broke it.
"Ah...the sun is starting to set.Shouldn't we be on our way to go see Kagome?"Miroku said as everyone looked at him.
Kouga's eyes widened in surprise at Miroku's words."SHIT!IT WAS NICE SEEIN' YA!BUT I GOTTA GO!"Kouga said in a hurry as his twister formed around him and he ran off in the direction of Kaede's village.
Sango gasped and pulled Miroku by his left arm to Kirara.Both jumped on Kirara's back and Kirara was once again racing to Kaede's village in no time.
Sesshomaru gazed on in the direction and decided to follow them as well...in a more civilized manner,of course.So Sesshomaru summoned his demon cloud and was on his way to see 'his little sister.'The sunset followed behind all of them as the sky was painted various shades of red,orange,yellow,and pink.It truly was a tranquil scene.
But somewhere unknown,a person sat in their room and laughed evilly.The person had saw everything through Kanna's magical mirror. The laugh echoed throughout the hallways as the unknown person gazed into the mirror.Enjoy your peace now,fools.For you will not have it for long.The unknown person thought as they laughed again.You will soon be in my grasp.

DEA:Oooo...cliffie!What's happened to Kagome?Why did all the demons stop attacking?Who is this 'unknown person' and why do they have Kanna?AND WILL MEN EVER GROW UP?If you REALLY wanna know,then PLEASE review! (no offense to men out there!)
