Also in a review I received someone said Sato is an idiot. My reply… No shit! He's arrogant as well. And over confident. But underneath all that he's actually a really nice, caring guy. And also to the person wondering why Inu Yasha didn't come with them, Inu Yasha didn't want to cause a fight. He knows that fighting upsets Kagome. And Sato does know about Kagome and Inu Yasha but he doesn't realize. This will become clearer in a later chapter.
Inu Yasha: “Why aren't I the main character?”
Me: “Coz I like Sato better. Now shut up”

Chapter 4-The Shikon no Tama
I heard a soft thump as Kagome landed next to me. I looked around and saw a ladder. I started to climb. I heard Kagome follow me. When I was out of the well I waited for Kagome. I offered her my hand to help her out of the well. She took my hand and I pulled her out. I looked around and realized we were in a small building.
“Our well is open to the air,” I said. She didn't respond. I shrugged and followed her as she walked outside. She took my hand and led me to the house. She took her shoes off. I looked down. I had been barefoot the whole time and hadn't even realized it. Oh well. I could always buy another pair of shoes anyway. Kagome went inside the house and I followed her. I put her bag down in the hallway, then followed Kagome to the kitchen. A woman, who could only be Mrs Higurashi, smiled at me.
“Kagome who is your friend?” she asked.
“Our well is open to the air,” I said. She didn't respond. I shrugged and followed her as she walked outside. She took my hand and led me to the house. She took her shoes off. I looked down. I had been barefoot the whole time and hadn't even realized it. Oh well. I could always buy another pair of shoes anyway. Kagome went inside the house and I followed her. Kagome dragged me forward. “This is Sato Shizu.”
I bowed. “I am pleased to meet you Mrs Higurashi.”
Mrs Higurashi smiles “He is so much more polite than Inu Yasha”
I blushed. I then remembered I still had my weapons around my waist. I went back down the hall and dropped my dagger on top of Kagome's bag. I kept my sword with me. I never went anywhere without Soul Cleaver. I went back to the kitchen and saw that everyone was there now. They were sitting down. I sat down next to Kagome. They raised their eyebrows at me but they didn't say anything.
