Chapter 3: Understanding

 

Debating weather to tell him or not she argued with her self a good minute before she came to a conclusion. `If we are ever to get to know each other and like each other we are going to have to start at common grounds.' With that in mind she opted to speak about her past, their future. “I come from the area know as Inuyasha forest.”

 

“The village.” He said it as a statement rather than a question.

 

“No…I come from 500years in the future from the city know as Tokyo.”

Just as he thought he knew everything about his brash selfless young woman, she threw something at him that was greatly confusing at the still young demon lord. Arching an eyebrow at her, her scent said that she was not lying but just a little unnerved about telling him where she was from. Sesshomaru thought about this for a moment. `This will explain why she is no where to be found at times…though how Kagome got here I must find out.'

“How did you arrive at this time?”

 

Kagome started going back through her life story, of the bone-eater well and Mistress Centipede and how she was after the jewel of four souls, which resided in her body. As Sesshomaru listened to her story he was surprised at first then that turned into amazement though he wouldn't openly show it. It all lead down to one final question.

 

“Sesshomaru?” He raised an eyebrow. “Do you think I…we could visit my family?”

“Yes, though we have to travel to our castle first for the potential problems of this union.”

 

“Hey it's not my fault that your beast claimed me!”

 

“I did not mean it like that though is would be wise to see what writings there have been on this unusual coupling.”

 

“Sorry I was just scared for the child…”

 

“Pup”

 

“Excuse me `pup.'”

 

*Growlllllllll*

 

Kagome blushed with embarrassment that her stomach was very hungry.

Sesshomaru smirked on the inside, though it was quite funny he knew his mate was in need of something to eat he decided to take to the air. Forming his demonic cloud under him they took to the air with Kagome still in his lap.
