Chapter 4: Knowledge

At the entrance to a valley they flew over the white stone gate guarding his personal realm. Further down the valley they came to a village, no a city, that was in a full swing of activity, flying further up they came to a castle that was embedded into the middle of a white caped mountain. The area the castle was sitting on was dug out of the mountain and had a winding road down to the city below. Looking down at it Kagome just stared in awe at its elegant design and the structural purpose that it presented. Arriving at the castle Kagome looked down upon it from Sesshomaru's arms.

 

“Is that your home?!”

 

“Our home.” Landing down in the lower court-yard of the palace several servants came out to greet them a gong being hit.

 

“The lord and lady have returned!” Jaken announced as the rest of the servants bowed to them.

 

“Jaken.”

 

“Yes Mi Lord!”

 

“Have Yukiko (snow child) bring food to the study.”

 

“Yes Mi Lord!”

 

Bowing Jaken stepped out of the way while that rest of the servants returned to previous work. Walking into his home Kagome was looking all around at the twisting and turning halls, then they made it to a set of stairs to the second floor then up to the third floor. This floor only had 4 sliding doors in it. “This is my privet level.”

 

*Gowl…* “Sorry…”

 

“Worry not for a natural body response, the servant will arrive shortly.” Walking down to the end of the hall he slid open a door and entered the library. The high walls and shelves were stacked with books and scrolls, among other books from foreign countries. In the center of the room was a low set table with several cushions set around it. Setting her down at the table Sesshomaru proceeded to look for his father's old scroll on miko's. About 5minutes later there was a knock on the door. “Enter.”

 

An older looking demonness with waist long white hair and silver eyes. “Mi Lord, Mi Lady breakfast is served.” Yukiko said setting the tray down. Then she begins to serve out soup among other sorts of food to Kagome. Finishing with her Job Sesshomaru dismissed her to attend to other duties.

A bit later Sesshomaru walked back and sat down at the table where Kagome was finishing up.

 

“Did you find what you needed?”

 

As to answer her question he placed down a very old looking scroll, and then started unrolling it as he sat down next to Kagome.

(It said that if a demon takes a miko as his mate that the child will be one of great power. Though still only half demon they will gain the power of the miko mother. They still will have a time of weakness but during that time their natural powers will be at there strongest. They also have a time of strength where their human blood is at its weakest while their demon powers are at there peak. If the father's blood is too strong they may need a blood binder to keep the child under control till it learns if for its self. As for the birthing there are some risks since it's a hanyou the father has to stay close at all times or else the child could kill the mother without the aid of the father's power to keep the child calm. The mother must keep her power at bay for if invoked they may end up purifying the demon blood in the child and intern kill them…)
