Chapter 12 Reunion part 2

 

…of the dream

 

Waking up from her Dream with a start Kagome sat up and began to crying silently so not to wake the children who were nacelle up agents An-Un under the order of Sesshomaru. He himself was making one last patrol of the area looking for any danger that might have follow after them. Nearing the end of the patrol the scent of tears came to him on the breeze.

 

`My mate crying again… that dream is she really afraid that something has a chance agents this Sesshomaru?'

 

Finishing with his patrol he hurries back to camp to conformed Kagome. Sitting down next to her she launches her self into his arms as she cries into him. Wrapping his arms around her he southes her with his purr.

 

“The same dream?”

 

“Yes… this I saw it all the way though before… our family died.”

 

“How did it happen.”

 

Going back to the start of the dream Kagome told him everything about how it was Inuyasha that had transformed and raped her to him finding her dead and he died with her in his arms.

 

“Do not worry this Sesshomaru knows how to detain my him while with his blood risen.”

 

“But… I don't want you to kill or… you to die at his hands…”

 

“Your own fear of what he thinks is driving you to fear what may not be true. Rest we will meet them on the marrow.”

 

She fell back asleep in his arms. Leaning up agesnt the tree he also took a light nap. Early morning Sesshomaru woke up and setting Kagome down on her `sleeping pallet' he proceeded to put on his new set of heavy raminate armor that looked similar to his fathers but lacked the spikes on the chest armor. After doing that he had order Jaken to make breakfast for his ward and mate while the kit also joined in. After breakfast his group packed up camp and headed off into the direction of Kaede village.

 

(Awhile later…)

 

Kaede was putting up the dishes from breakfast when she and Miroku sensed the approach of a demon of great power.

 

“I sense a very strong demonic aura… Most likely Sesshomaru's?”

 

“Aye tis Sesshomaru.”

 

“How do you know” Sango asked.

 

“I can sense the child, Kagome travel with him.”

 

“Where Inuyasha?” Miroku asked.

 

“…Did he already going after him?”

 

“Aye he left seconds after you said his name.”

 

(Back with Sesshomaru)

 

Kagome was in his arms with her head on his chest sleeping again as Rin and Shippo rode An-Un trall in the back was the sulking toad as he mutters about something. As they near the village Sesshomaru hid his scent and aura of the group with a barrier. As he reached the god tree he stopped and the memory of what took place here came back to him.

 

`I do hope she will not freak out. How unlikely it will be.'

 

“Kagome. Kagome wake up we are here.”

 

Opening her eyes slowly she looked up into the golden eyes that were looking down to her. Then she reached up and kissed him softly on the side of the cheek as he set her down.

 

“What should we do first?”

 

“Inuyasha and the other would be here first…”

 

“Unlikely I have hidden our auras and scent. Do you wish to meet them first?”

 

“Yes I would like to see them… but I'm afraid that they will attack you on sight.”

 

“They will not wish to harm you if they see you next to me.”

 

Kagome nodes her head and sits down leaning agents the god tree side that faced the village with Shippo and Rin at her side as Sesshomaru stood in front of her. Lowering the barrier around them he let the wind shift to give the hanyou a good scent and let his aura out for the monk to sense it.

 

“I can feel Inuyasha getting closer.”

 

`…Did her miko power get stronger?'

 

Inuyasha broke through the tree line above Sesshomaru with Tetsusaiga drawn ready to ready to attack. Pulling out Tenseiga the 2 fangs meet as sparks from the combine attack as Sesshomaru pushed him off.

 

“Sesshomaru get away from Kagome!!!” Inuyasha yelled as he landed back on his feet and again tried to attack when something stopped him.

 

“SIT!”

 

<WHAM>

 

Inuyasha did a face plant while Sesshomaru put Tenseiga back in its sheath as Inuyasha sits up and looks at Kagome in disbelief.

 

“Kagome…? Your defending… why?”

Kagome looked down there was so much hurt in his eyes it was almost painful to look at.

 

“Because… he is my mate.”

 

`No… I won't let Sesshomaru take away the woman I love…' Inuyasha sat up on all fours as the Tetsusaiga dropped from his grasp.

 

`Kagome I will get you back.'

 

The wind shifted around him. As the magenta color jaded stripes appeared on his checks, but there was something unusual about this transformation instead of staying magenta they became a lavender color while his eyes remained the same as his claws lengthen to

his demon form.

 

`Is his love for this girl look a like allowing him to control the demon blood?'

 

“Inuyasha?”

 

“Kagome I will not give you up to him.” He says as he picks up the sword at his side that will no longer contain his full blood.
